I've worked with this company for 2 years now. They have done work at my personal house as well as 27 air conditioning units at one of our commercial buildings. This week they were here performing preventative maintenance, heat checks, filters, and thermostat battery replacement. Diego and Alberto were very professional, communicative, and overall did a great job.

Cade & William were quick, efficient and very friendly. Kept us in the loop as they worked. They both give off good vibes so felt comfortable having them walk around the house. Thanks for the help!

Jorge came by today to check on an issue I was having and he went above and beyond with just making sure everything was as it should be! He explained his process while also working quickly and efficiently. 10/10 would recommend!

Will, plumber with Altruistic AC, Heating & Plumbing, came today to check out our request for adding a gas line to our fireplace. Will arrived on time, reviewed all of the plumbing required and stated that the gas line could be installed as requested. He advised us about the different ways to install the gas line and time to complete installation. Will is very professional and helpful; give Altruistic AC Plumbing a call if you need an estimate for your AC or plumbing needs.

David recently performed a service call on my apartment to fix the air conditioner. He presents himself well and proceeded to troubleshoot my air conditioning problem. He quickly found the trouble and corrected both inside equipment and outside Freon troubles. He has an excellent demeanor, knows his business very well and quickly corrected the system. Thank you for your professionalism and quick work!!

UPDATED: They reached out to us to clarify the issue about charging the service fee a second time and refunded us for that part. They send us the invoice and went over all the things they check during a visit, helping us better understand their report. Also, they went above and beyond and helped us find out who the installer of the AC system was.

I have not had a great experience with this provider. They came to look at our AC in Austin, TX a couple weeks ago and they said there was nothing wrong with it, but charged us $100 for the visit. We continued to have issues, so we called them again and they charged us another $100 fee plus extremely high labor cost, and refuse to engage the AC manufacturer warranty to cover any costs. On top of that, they don't let you pay online and don't give you an invoice before you pay them.

Cade called to let me know when he would arrive, arrived within the stated time, was pleasant and did a great job explaining what the issue was and how to address it. He was careful to wear shoe covers and was diligent in cleaning up anything needed after work was done. I highly recommend him and Altruistic.

Jorge did a thorough check for the annual heating check on my unit. He went over all the aspects of the system and his findings. He gave me some items to consider in the future. Jorge was extremely polite and professional and took the time to answer all of my questions. All of my experience with Altruistic has been exceptional and Jorge’s visit was a continuation of this streak.

Ramon just left the house -- after inspecting our heating and air conditioner. We had lightning hit our house last year and everything failed. It was a catastrophe! He came back today to make sure that all was well. Not only did he check our components -- but, he installed worn out light bulbs in various places in the house. (Some of the lighting was in places that were 20-feet high!) I honestly cannot believe our good fortune to have Ramon be here to attend to our heating, electricity and air conditioning.

Both Cade and Diego were extremely knowledgeable, professional and helpful. Took the time to explain any issues found, made good recommendations and completed the work in a timely manner. Very impressed with both of them!

We had a clog in our main line. Called them out to clear it out. I was working but left detailed instructions. They charged almost $500 to unclog the pipe…but took a lot of pictures and video! Tried to tell my wife that it was clogging for reasons that defied fluid mechanics and basic physics, also claimed our septic tank needed to be pumped. That was also wrong. We called a septic company out the next day, they said tank levels were fine (that cost us $200 of course). So in the end $700 to unclog a pipe. If you can, find a company with more reasonable rates that knows what they are doing.

I Imagine this would be the Hvac contractor you have in Heaven. Friendly, honest, and unbelievably professional. The attention to detail in every step is like no other contractor I’ve ever worked with.

Angel from Altruistic AC & Heating was amazing to work with! I had an issue with my system that was stressing me out, and he came through with such kindness and professionalism. He explained everything clearly, fixed the problem quickly, and even made sure I understood what caused it so I wouldn’t have to worry in the future. Technician Ramon helped me very much with our AC problem. Great guy and very very helpful. Receiving text messages for when the Technician will arrive is great. Receiving a text picture of the technician is helpful to know who I’m doing to be interacting with. Will definitely use Altruistic ac and heating again.
