Great company to work with. I have maintained my own pool for over 20 years. When I needed professional help, I contacted Blue Escapes. They came out the next day and took care of my issues on the first service call. I highly recommend them for not only repair, but they also provide full pool service. Update 1/31/2022. I called Blue Escapes back to work on my pool and they did a great job. Showed up on time and made it easy to do business with them.

One of your employees driving around, advertising this business was very rude and went as far as calling a young gentlemen who was assisting me in towing my car in a Plano parking lot .She went as far as calling him a derogatory name . Just because he was trying to back the car out. This is unacceptable and if you have employees what that behavior that she displayed working for you ,this would not be a place I would do business with people like that have a lot to say about your business.

Great response to problem. Kevin was contact. He is great and very helpful. He helped me figure out my new ilink stuff.

Great experience! Kevin came out to diagnose and estimate the job and Russ came out to make the repairs. Estimate was exactly what I thought it would be and Russ did a fantastic job on the repairs. Both extremely professional and friendly. I will not hesitate to call Blue Escape the next time I need pool repairs.

Had a great experience twice with Blue Escapes on separate issues.

First, my spa heater was not firing and it was diagnosed and repaired by the owner who was filling in for an employee that had time off. It was diagnosed and repaired correctly the first time, within just a couple days of receiving the replacement part.

Secondly, I worked with General Manager Kevin Shuford to repair 3 limestone spa scuppers which had deteriorated over the years, sharp pieces of which were breaking off and falling into my pool. I discussed replacement options with Kevin and received an estimate for the work and schedule. Kevin came to my home to take measurements and photos to ensure an accurate quote and to be able to discuss the project with his crew. I was very wary of the leuders limestone atop my spa scuppers getting cracked during the repair and Kevin made a note to reassure his crew of my concerns and make me aware that while unlikely, a replacement stone could be sourced and made to appear original (as possible). I needn't worry as the 2 craftspersons did a great job to removed the limestone without damage. Blue Escapes was also able to source the original mosaic tile that was removed as part of the scupper repair. Their craftspersons were experienced, cordial, and explained their work throughout the process to my satisfaction. The project was completed quickly in just a couple days to be ready for a weekend pool party we had planned.

Since this repair did not prevent us from enjoying our pool, our schedule was flexible and our project was worked into their calendar as the right craftspersons became available and opportunities became available with the stormy spring weather. During this time, I was kept appraised of our anticipated start date on a weekly basis by Ms. Shannon Jergins, Office Assistant at Blue Escapes. I appreciated these communications and never felt out of touch with Blue Escapes. Likewise, Kevin was always available for my emails and calls and quick to respond in kind. Kevin was great to see the project through from start to finish and provide an excellent experience for me to my complete satisfaction.

Overall, a very positive experience twice and will continue to consider Blue Escapes for future projects.

From the initial discussion about the project/services needed, to the project quote, to the installation, unexpected issues, and final clean-up, every interaction with the Blue Escapes Pool & Spa team was better than we hoped or expected! They were creative in their solutions, professional in their administrative processes, timely in identifying unforeseen issues and resolving those, and thorough in helping us understand what to expect at every stage. We believe we received a good value and truly felt like they understood our needs. And, now - we have a new pool services company that we can trust in time of need!

We chose Blue Escapes Pool & Spa based off of the reviews, so it’s only fitting that we leave one. From start to finish the service was amazing! Kevin came out and looked over our equipment and a few days after we approved the quote, Russ was at our house doing the repairs. They made this experience very easy and efficient, fixed what they said needing fixed and the pool looks and sounds amazing again! The pool guys are very friendly and helpful when you catch them working. They will answer any questions about your pool.

Their are a few things they can improve on, but for the most part, they do a good job.

First let me say I was not a previous Blue Escapes customer, I rarely write reviews and I'm quite picky that things are done correctly. I first spoke with Bob on a Friday concerning my pool leak. It was obvious he was quite knowledgeable and very busy so I greatly appreciated the time he took to answer some questions. On Monday I had additional questions and again he took time out of his schedule to help me understand my particular situation. That same afternoon my pool was fixed! The repairman did a fantastic job and left everything clean and neat. I was extremely impressed with Bob's knowledge, their response time and the ability to fix it so quickly. Especially since it was not a simple, straightforward fix. Would absolutely recommend!!!

We recently purchased a home in Plano with a pool and spa that had very old equipment, some that wasn't working. We received several quotes from different companies to replace all the equipment. While the quotes were comparable in pricing and did not differ greatly, we decided to go with Blue Escapes Pool and Spa after speaking with Kevin, the General Manager. Kevin is really an asset to this company! His pleasant demeanor and willingness to go the extra steps made this company stand out above the others. We also liked that they had so many good reviews.

After my initial inquiry, Kevin called and took time to explain the equipment and the process with me. He even took time to meet me at the house to go over everything while I was in town (we were moving from out of state). Russ installed all the equipment and everything is working nicely and looks really great. Kevin called to follow up and explain what was done. When we are next in town he will come over and go over all the equipment with us.

We would highly recommend Blue Escapes to anyone. Ask for Kevin. You won't be disappointed!

Our pool coping and tile needed repairs, so we decided to re-tile the pool and spa. I called around and then decided to use the Good Contractor's List due to a previous good experience with a bathroom remodel. Bob came out and spent a good deal of time inspecting and more importantly educating me about pool construction. In a nutshell, where the Hell was Bob when I was building a pool! I sure wish I had worked with Bob and his team when we installed this pool. His tile team was meticulous, and did a great job cleaning up when they left the jobsite. After the pool was filled up, Dillon came out and he also educated us on care for our salt water pool. He was great and spent extra time to make sure we knew what the hell we were doing to maintain our pool. I am very critical of workmanship, and followup, thus if you are like me, call Bob. I would have saved a good deal of money over the years if I had called Bob from the get go. He and his team get top marks from us. Go Navy. V/R, Jim

We bought a house with a pool about a year and a half ago, and the pool needed some serious TLC. Blue escapes has done 3 major projects for us since we bought the home: new pump/filter/heater, unclogged a compacted skimmer line, and re-tiled/fixed masonry on our spillover.

Each project was done well, and the folks who came out to do the work were always open to answering our questions (especially Russ!). Kevin, the general manager, is very responsive and has come out a few times to take a look when we have had in depth questions or concerns.

We also use Blue Escapes' monthly cleaning services. They are not going to be the cheapest per month, but I prefer to give them my service as their pool techs (we have had Dillon and Cole) are very friendly, knowledgeable, and the company has done such great work on the large projects.

Blue Escapes remodeled my pool and I have been extremely happy with the results. Bob knows his stuff. I interviewed 6 companies before I chose Blue Escapes. I also use their pool service and Chanze is without doubt the best tech that I have ever had.
I can’t begin to express my appreciation for Kevin and his depth of knowledge. He is always immediately responsive to any equipment issues that I have and strives to resolve them without delay. This also applies to any general or “how to” questions I may have. He defines what 5 star customer service should be. The company is top notch in every facet. I am a very satisfied customer.

I previously wrote a review expressing dissatisfaction with a recent consulting call. Shortly thereafter, I received a call from Blue Escapes apologizing for the consultant fee and agreeing to wave the charge after the technician informed his billing department the charge should have been waved. What a pleasant surprise!!!! This restored my faith in Blue Escapes.

Blue Escapes recently completed a full renovation of our pool and we are extremely happy with the results! Very impressed with the quality of work. Any questions or concerns we had during the process were handled promptly, we were updated on schedules, overall a great experience. Working with an established company that has been in the community for so long gave us confidence in the work and that the company will back it up with support if necessary.

The tile/grout job on my 17-year old pool was amazing. It brought it back to brand-new condition! Highly recommend their great service and communication throughout the entire process

Work was great but I received a call the following day saying they were charging me an additional $95 after paying over $3,000 for some “additional plumbing “. I think they could have given us the pcp after all we spent.

Blue escapes Pool & Spa did a fantastic job on our pool repairs. I have used them several times over the years and the work is top notch and the service is outstanding. I highly recommend for performing any type of work on your pool.

I contacted Blue Escapes after discovering some issues with the plumbing and possible leaks in our pool. We had gotten an estimate from another company who basically told us that we had the worst case scenario with our pool and it was going to cost over 30k to fix the issues. It seemed a little fishy to me so I had Blue Escapes come and do an assessment. Kevin came to check it out and after evaluating what he saw reassured me that most of what we were told wasn't the case. He answered all of my questions, explained exactly what they would do to fix the issues and got the ball rolling. We were on a time crunch due to events we had coming up at our home and we really wanted the pool to be done. Kevin went out of his way to accommodate our deadline and over delivered on every promise. Everyone I dealt with was professional, attentive, proactive and friendly. The work they performed was excellent!. It is reassuring to know that whenever we have an issue with our pool in the future, there is a company I can trust that has our best interests at the forefront of everything they do. All of the people at Blue Escapes should be proud of the way they carried themselves, they are a group you can count on.
