Riverbend Sandler built my pool and it is magnificent. They are the best at building amazing pools.
I went with Riverbend Sandler for the weekly pool service because they built our pool. And the service for the first three years was great! Our pool tech was the best of the best.
Four years later, they don't show up on the regular scheduled days (or miss me altogether), the pool turned yellow / green twice, the pool techs don't clean thoroughly, don't inspect equipment, don't unwind the pool cleaner hose, communication is lack luster, etc.
In 2023, I can't tell you how many different pool techs we have been through. And we were paying top end pricing. I finally had to draw the line and say ENOUGH. I fired Riverbend Sandler and hired a new pool service company that is lower in cost, great reviews, professional pool techs and they guarantee their services.
Yes, Riverbend Sandler is an amazing pool builder, but when it comes to weekly service...They are no longer a company I can rely on.

1-13-24 Love RiverBend so much! Our pool was done November of 2022 and the CUSTOMER SERVICE STILL CONTINUES, It’s amazing! Today we were kinda panicking and Jason Ellis was so calm and helped us get our equipment working perfectly! I rarely give reviews but this one is worth it! I would like to share our wonderful experience with Riverbend Sandler Pools. We have always wanted a pool but were concerned about the nightmare stories we’d heard, but we went for and man are we glad we did! From start to finish the customer service, responsiveness, professionalism, integrity and work ethic was and still is amazing! Starting with Matt Hitchcock our sales advisor and designer. He was so patient, answered lots of questions, was consistent with follow through and checking on us EVEN AFTER THE SALE WOW! Dave Casper our project manager so supportive, encouraging, responsive with our million questions, text messages and phone calls. He reassured us over and over again everything would be great.THANK YOU DAVE, couldn’t have done this without you! After the pool construction was over we decided to go with pool maintenance with Riverbend. Trey in the service department was so kind, responsive and knowledgeable, he even stopped by on his way home from work to make sure everything was ok. Abel our pool cleaner is amazing! He does such a thorough job, shows up every week consistently around the same time, and answers our thousand questions. He even showed me how to use our hand held vacuum and let me video him so we’d remember how to do.
Fiona in financing was so kind as well. We are so pleased with Riverbend Sandler and would HIGHLY recommend them again! If you’re thinking about getting a pool please only use Riverbend Sandler it’s worth the peace of mind and investment!

Very disappointed with their repair service department.
Text received on 2/12/26 that a tech would arrive on 2/13/26 between 1-5 pm. A day of PTO taken due to inspection/repair needed and access to the inside of the garage. No call, no show at 4:50 pm. Reach out via text asking if someone will be arriving today. Text back that the appointment has been rescheduled to 2/18/26.
2/18/26 arrives and no one has reached out by 2 pm so a call is made to the service department. Only to be told the inspection is scheduled for 2/19/26 now. Another day of PTO wasted with no call to advise of the date change.
This is absurd that now another 1/2 day of PTO will be taken due to no call/no show. They are quick to tell you that they require a $155 service call fee but have zero respect for your time.
We also have weekly maintenance with them and will be looking to move that business elsewhere.

We had an awesome experience trusting Riverbend Sandler in the construction of our dream backyard oasis. Everything from start to finish was excellent. Our pool designer Matthew Hitchcock did a great job understanding exactly what we wanted and worked on our design and 3d model until we were completely satisfied.
David McKinley, our Project Manager kept us updated during every step of the construction process. Mike and David were always available to answer questions and concerns.
Every crew involved was very professional, highly skilled, and respectful. The project was completed on time and our finished pool couldn't look closer to the 3D design! It is exactly as we imagine it.
Tom Epting did a fantastic job explaining every detail of our pool equipment in our pool school class.
We absolutely recommend Riverbend Sandler to build your dream pool.

Our pool tech Orvi does an awesome job each week. He is diligent and the pool always looks amazing which can be tricky with all the trees around our pool. He also makes sure the equipment is running well each week - and updates us with any issues. Thanks for the great service!

Riverbend built our pool back in 2007 and James has been a great resource.
he originally trained me on all the pool equipment, helped me understand how it works and what needs to be done on an ongoing maintenance plan.
he communicated with me through the entire process.
He was prompt on installation day and ensured I was happy with the install and understood how to use the new app.

After shopping around we decided to go with Riverbend and I have to say it was the best decision! Everything from start to finish was done with excellence. Eric Noris did an amazing job designing our pool and listening to my concerns and being honest about what would or wouldn’t work for our space. Dave Casper supervised the construction phase and was great at communicating with us and answer ALL my questions no matter how big or small. The construction crew was excellent under Dave’s supervision. Both Eric and Dave stayed engaged with us throughout the process and it really felt painless. Our pool turned out amazing…better than I could have ever imagined. I would definitely build with them again and have recommended them to all of our neighbors and friends. Thank you for giving us the backyard of our dreams!

Our heater, which was quite old, went out over the weekend. I contacted James Guice, my technician who came out in a very timely manner. He gave me repair/replacement options and had all work done fast!

Riverbend Sandler built our pool about 4 years ago and have been completely satisfied. We get lots of compliments on the design and the glass bead finish. Since then, we have had some minor issues here and there and they have stood behind their work every single time.

More importantly, our service technician James, is hands down best pool repair tech we have ever worked with. He communicates his schedule ahead of time and reaches out to diagnose the issue so he has what he needs to get our pool back up and running. He got our heater back up and running a couple months ago and most recently, he fixed our pool lights. We are so happy to have them ready for swim season. The color and coverage is so much better. Riverbend Sandler Pools made our dream backyard come true! Hank was our designer and he transformed an idea I had from a sketch drawing to the perfect design. He took the time to review our wish list, explained options, and completely understood our style. You can tell from the Riverbend Sandler showroom that they are pioneers in the industry with quality work and innovative building techniques that other pool builders are not doing with their construction. These details are what set them apart from other builder’s quotes we received. Hank was always available for questions throughout the construction process and worked with our project manager for any design changes. Ron was our project manager and he was available through text/call whenever we had questions. He resolved any concerns that came up during the process. The crews they use for different phases were professional, friendly, and worked well with separate contractors I used for different parts of our project. Tom was very helpful and personable during Pool School. We didn’t feel rushed at all and he took the time to make sure we felt comfortable before leaving.

Riverbend did a terrible job on our basic pool remodel project- a replaster and re-tile of our pool and spa. Unless you are willing to babysit Riverbend daily and have experience and willingness to identify poor workmanship yourself, hire another company. Riverbend has no real quality control measures in place and expects for the customer to point out workmanship problems. A few obvious workmanship problems that we had: Riverbend intentionally dumped concrete sludge down our main pool drain during the project, which ruined our pool pump; Riverbend's repeated inability to install 1"x2" pool tile in a straight line; Riverbend's inability to properly plaster an existing 4-edge infinity spa (water ran down only one wall of our spa after Riverbend's work - the plaster job had to be redone twice). Our project went through at least 3 different "project managers", and the project took several months, rather an expected week, to complete due to errors in workmanship.

We are extremely impressed with the service provided by Riverbend Sandler Pools. Their team is consistently professional, reliable, and thorough in every aspect of pool care—from routine cleaning to full maintenance. They demonstrate exceptional responsibility, attention to detail, and genuine dedication to keeping our pool in perfect condition. Their prompt communication and proactive approach make working with them effortless. We wholeheartedly recommend Riverbend Sandler Pools to anyone seeking top-notch pool services.

So I had one of the most challenging builds because I was also building a pool house and the ground is super rocky. I was amazed at how efficiently Riverbend managed all phases (thanks to Francisco Ramirez Project Manager for orchestrating all of this) of the construction. It is a well-oiled machine and I never had to worry about anything not being done properly or carefully or without high level craftsmanship. I would never use another pool company. I strongly recommend you use the absolute best pool installer and that is Riverbend. Oh, and the sales guy Jason O'Neil made it sooo easy to finalize the details. Kudos to

When its time to have your pool filter cleaned, which should be twice a year I would recommend Yaphette @ Riverbend Sandler Pools. This young man does an excellent job. He clearly enjoys his job because it shows in the quality of his work. When he arrives he works seamlessly and efficiently until this dirty task has been completed. When the job is finished he always leaves the area cleaner than it was before. Congratulations Riverbend Sandler Pools this young man does outstanding work!

Worst decision I ever made was calling this company, the estimator & subcontractors were very good but the communication about what’s happening is non existent. I had the pool, hot tub & deck redone which took close to 2 months, not a single time did I ever meet a representative from Riverbend Sandler at the house, there’s was always an excuse. There’s a gap on the tile on the hot tub but I will gladly hire another company to fix it, very disappointed from the entire experience. Check my other reviews, I’ve never left a negative review but it was a truly horrible experience!!!!!

We had an amazing experience working with our consultant/engineer, Victor Ramirez, and our Project Manager, Bert Kleinman. Victor was absolutely fantastic—personable, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful in guiding us through design options and sharing his expertise and recommendations. The entire process was seamless, with no major issues or concerns. Of course, as with any major project, a few minor things came up, but Bert and Victor addressed them immediately and ensured everything was resolved promptly. We couldn’t have asked for a better team or experience! Would I recommend Riverbend Sandler, absolutely based on the duo we had so I'd highly suggest requesting them for your project. Bert’s personality made the whole process a blast—we absolutely loved working with him. Victor was just as great, checking in with us afterward to make sure everything turned out perfectly. Riverbend built our pool 5 years ago and has serviced it weekly ever since. We have been happy with the service and their response to any issues we've had (which have been minimal). In particular, James Guice, the service technician who has been out a couple times previously, (usually to assist with things most pool owners would know to do), has always went above and beyond to help us understand our system and guide us through the technicalities that will help us in the future. He has been on top of any repairs that were needed and continually stayed on top of it for us. We couldn't be happier!

Fareed arrived timely, communicated clearly about work that needed to be done and issues that were minor and didn't need to be addressed. I respect his honesty and not upselling us. He was efficient and did a great job in replacing our filter and teaching us about how to winterize our system to save on future repairs.
