Jordan Rodriguez was a great technician. He was very receptive to the issues I communicated to him. He was clear from the beginning that he was knowledgeable in the system we had in our house. He was very thorough, he spent around 2 hours checking and testing that the system was functioning as intended. He communicated clearly what the issue was and showed me in the system tracking the cause of our issue. He also showed me different options on how to address it and gave me recommendations on how to better maintain my AC system. I will definitely be calling Firehouse again for any AC issues, as they were honest, thorough, and very responsive.

Reuben was on time and very thorough. He answered my questions and provided information on potential upgrades to our system. As will happen, an issue did occur after he left but after a bit of a miscue with the office, Reuben did return later in the day and quickly restored the system operation. We appreciate his dedication to excellence and will welcome him back for our next annual maintenance check.

As part of our contract with Firehouse, our heating system received a checkup. The tech, Sam, was in communication with me prior to the appointment and showed up right on time. He didn’t waste any time servicing the heater. When he came down from the attic, he described everything he had done. He had a list of recommendations such as a surge protector or duct cleaning, but there wasn’t any pressure to purchase. I appreciated that.
We are very pleased with Firehouse. Their techs are always friendly, knowledgeable, and professional in appearance. -
He did everything he could, we found out there is no power going to the unit. So he advised me to call an electrician, he was telling me everything he was doing keeping me informed. He was very polite and courteous,I told him he didn’t have to wear his booties but he insisted. He did an excellent job, I will call you all again and recommend your company

I originally contacted Firehouse Heating & Air to do a system tune up for my borderline ancient A/C system. They came out quickly and performed the tune up, which significantly increased my unit's performance. When the A/C decided it was time to stop working, Firehouse was extremely responsive in getting me the best priced quotes available for a replacement, and were able to perform the install of the new unit within days of requesting it. They were courteous towards my house and made sure that everything was well taken care of, and left the area as clean, if not cleaner than when they arrived. I am so pleased with my experience and will be continuing to use them for many years moving forward.

Firehouse heating and air replaced our entire system. The service was outstanding! The workers were considerate, knowledgeable, and friendly. After all the work was completed they went over all of it with me explaining what they had installed and how to maintain it. The cost was reasonable and competitive in the market. It is a relief to finally have a company I can call with confidence when I need service in the future
update:
Thank goodness for Fire House Heating and Air! They armed so responsive and prompt. We woke up this morning with AC out. We have an Airbnb with a guest checking in tomorrow so this created a rather stressful situation. They were here within a couple of hours and had it fixed in no time at all. They put in a new system for us and they’ve stood behind their work every time we’ve needed them. Although there have been some glitches I still feel we made the right choice with Fire House Heating and Air. -

I started dealing with these people in April 2024, and since then it has been a nightmare. I was out of the country dealing with my aging mom’s health, and my wife called me saying that our 1-year-old Amana air conditioner was not working. I quickly searched the internet to find someone that works with Amana, since the machine was still under warranty and the company that installed it for us was gone. I found these guys. She called them, made an appointment, and a tech showed up, checked the system, and told her that the AC was not working because there was an issue with the main blower and that we needed to replace the plenum (big aluminum box where the input ducting connects before entering the AC) because when this new AC needs a bigger one, and because of that, the main blower is malfunctioning and might need to be replaced. On top of that, they managed to convince my wife to sign up for their “maintenance” plan, which is a way to check your HVAC system periodically and always find something that “requires attention,” as they put it. But anyway, I told my wife to go ahead and get it done, as long as the AC started working again. The plenum was replaced with a bigger one for $3000. They sealed the thing pretty well, I must say, but after 2 days, the AC stopped working again. It took the technician a week of back and forth and lots of guessing to figure out what was wrong. In the meantime, we were boiling in the house because it was already June. The first guess was that there was a leak somewhere in the system because the gas pressure was low, so they told me that we needed to do a leak test that cost $2000 more or less. I told the technician to add the missing amount of gas and wait to see if it was going down again, and it didn’t. So it wasn’t a leak. The second guess was that the evaporator coil might have an issue, and many other guesses after the tech finally figured out that the compressor was bad. Finally, they decided to replace the outside motor with a new one since it was still under warranty, but I had to pay $ 2000 because the labor wasn’t covered by the Amana warranty. After a month, the new motor started making a loud boom every time it kicked in, so two more technicians came by and did something to it to make it less noisy, but they never really explained what caused the boom and how they mitigated it. After another week, the AC stopped working again, but it was already October, so I decided not to call them back and deal with it when it was time to use the AC again once it got warmer in the spring. Now it’s January, and the furnace is on, and it works fine. I had a humidifier installed when I bought the AC system years ago, and I noticed that it felt dry in the house and I was getting shocked all the time, so I decided to go check it out in the attic to make sure it was on. The humidifier has a controller that has a sensor on the back plate to measure the relative humidity on the return air duct near the plenum (that’s where it was installed originally), and it’s also used to set the humidity level. As soon as I reached to touch the knob that controls the humidity level, the controller fell off the plenum! I picked it up, and it was just sitting on top of it, no hole for sensors or anything, basically, it wasn’t installed back, and it was measuring the relative humidity in the attic, which is way different from the one inside the home. That was yesterday, so there you go, this is how this company works, very incompetent technicians and installers, charged me a lot of money for their incompetence, and to top all of it off, someone from the company checked my LinkedIn page, what for is a mystery, maybe they want to hire me since it seems that I have more knowledge than their technicians since when all the guessing was going on I had some technical straight-to-the-point questions for which they had no answer!
