As always this company does a great job .They always call or text to remind me of appointments and when technicians are on the way. I have used them for many years and would highly recommend . Always responsive , and it’s nice to know that we can trust them with our heating and air conditioning needs . Eric was on time, professional and personable . He was extremely thorough and knowledgeable, and worked efficiently to perform our routine inspection and maintenance, plus installation of a new part recommended to preserve the condenser . I learned about One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning from the contractor who built our home in Dallas. Our home was built in the fall of 2021, and our contractor used this company to install the HVAC unit in our brand-new home. Since then, I've had to call them at least twice every year—always for the same issue: the AC simply doesn’t work. And yet, because they installed the unit, I believed they were the best option to address its frequent malfunctions.

Recently, I spoke with a gentleman named Nathan. I want to emphasize that he has always been courteous and respectful on the phone, and this is in no way about him personally. Over the weekend, I reached out to Nathan once again, explained the issue, and scheduled an appointment for today, Monday, November 11th, with a window from 2-6 pm. But no one showed up. And worse, no one even reached out to explain or reschedule.

The issues here are glaring and concerning. First, it’s baffling that a unit installed in 2021 has broken down every single year since then. A new unit should not be this unreliable. Second, the complete lack of follow-up or communication after scheduling an appointment is unacceptable. I relied on them, expecting they would show up, and as a result, my family has now endured several more days without AC, trusting they’d honor their commitment. This kind of service—or lack thereof—is inexcusable.

For anyone considering this company, I strongly urge you to take my experience into account. This is far from a minor inconvenience—it's a repeated failure to provide a service that actually works. How is it possible that a brand-new unit installed in 2021 consistently breaks down? Each time they come out, they charge us, yet the problem persists year after year. That’s a legitimate concern, and it’s one that no homeowner should have to deal with.

Even if we accept that the unit may have an issue, why does it keep happening year after year? It simply doesn’t make sense. And today’s no-show for our scheduled appointment is just a slap in the face as a customer. Clearly, they don’t prioritize customer service or quality in any way. New customers, beware—you deserve better.

The installation process went smoothly when our AC needed to be replaced. Sadly, we had issues arise every year following installation. The last technician agreed that it was not normal for us to have to replace the Freon annually but could not confirm or deny that there was a leak. Everyone we have spoken to since have given us the run around. In one interaction, they blamed the installation crew and mentioned that they were no longer employed by the company, as if this somehow meant they were no longer responsible.

Horrible experience. Please pay attention to the follow up reviews. There are several that mirror our experience.

Awesome, fast service! Chris was professional through and knowledgeable! We were up and running in no time! One hour guaranteed for sure , definitely appreciate Hannah as well very courteous over the phone , provided instructions prior to the tech arriving! Will forever use them for any future needs!

Update: We were having problems with too much condensation building up and One Hour came back and kept working on the issue until it was resolved. Very good customer service!

We had to replace our HVAC unit. One Hour Air-Conditioning and Heating did a great job with our purchase and installation. They were quick, efficient and knowledgeable. Dakota and Christian are great workers and very respectful of property. They both have a good work ethic and attitude. It was wonderful to have them working on our hvac installation.

I am extremely frustrated with this company. They completely replaced our air conditioning units (2) in the summer of 2023. Over the last year and a half we have had to call them out multiple times because our upstairs unit continues to stop working. They have not fixed anything, they continue to tell us it’s the air filters needing replaced. I called about 2 weeks ago because the air would not turn on upstairs again, they made an appointment and never showed and never called. I’ve since called them for the last week everyday, with no answer or phone call back. I am a very unhappy customer.

The family and crew are friendly, explained everything in detail, and set expectations. Their first visit was after 5 and couldn't get the parts that night. So they made a special trip to bring us a portable AC unit for one room and set it up. The next morning they arrived first thing and got our AC back on. They communicated often and kept their promises. I highly recommend!

Eric Cooper is a great technician! He showed up on time and fixed our issues. He is knowledgeable and friendly and trustworthy. I highly recommend him and this company! From a clog in our system to winter tuneup to all the other things I ask him about he's been great! We got the maintenance plan we like them so much! So nice to find someone who we can depend on! This A/C Company was fantastic! They quickly help me out of a jam and repaired my AC unit for my tenants. Professional , On Time and Communicated very well . I will definitely use them again should the need arise and I strongly recommend them to everyone needing their services. (My Tech was Conner- 2 thumbs up)

We bought Ac from them and has always gets a problem the day it installed. And they installed it wrong it leak water and damaged our ceilings, now we call them for maintenance they call always go to voice mail and if we left voice mail they never return call. When we bought the unit it gave a 10 years warranty and 2 years mainainace agreement but they don't keep there agreement it is really frustrating

Guy came out and gave us great feedback and tried to cut us as much of a deal as he could. Was watching out for us and ensuring our safety when the previous contractor didn’t do his job

Our existing system was 28 years old and at the end of its life. Conner came out and evaluated our system and recommended replacement. We agreed and he gave us several options that included repairing our old system. We agreed it should be replaced and they installed it the next day. Good people doing good work and we highly recommend them to anyone needing service or replacement. Our installers, Dustin and Angel were fantastic and very knowledgeable. We’ll definitely use them again.

My AC kept shutting off and I had been putting it off and just suffering in the heat for a while until I finally called a couple of companies. Not only was One Hour more affordable than the other company I got a quote from, but they were some of the sweetest people! I ended up purchasing and having them install a new unit and I’m extremely happy with how quick they were able to get me on their books and help me out.

My house is now a cool 70 and life is already much better and less sweaty!

Awesome. The guys were on time, polite, respectful, did a great job cleaning up, answered all my questions and now just waiting on another crew to finish the modification. My new A/C units are Great. So happy! The inside unit was so very old it was well over due of getting a new one. Glad we decided to upgrade.
