Dale Ladd did a 10/10 job on my furnace repair. He explained what he was doing and found the solution without having to order pricey replacement parts. Fair, honest, and good natured. Very happy with the service provided.

Technicians are very polite. Especially the helpers. This was a big job and I guess it was too much for them. They tried to cover everything but got laxed a they went on. I believe the job was done right. Everything works now. The process became tedious because the plumber didn't want to do the job, and he wanted more money to do it right. Whole house re-pipe. They cut everything, everywhere. Okay. Ceilings, walls, garage. He refused to move the sinks to work behind them. So we had to do it ourselves. They crossed my hot and cold water in my shower, then tried to charge us more money to replace something in the shower when it didn't work. I have a temperature controlled shower. They came back out to correct it, switch it back and my shower worked fine. They wanted to sell us a new water heater, even though they just installed one less than a year ago. I guess 20+G wasn't enough. They kept trying to get more. Not to mention we are on the FF plan. I'm not sure. The QA person was very professional. I'm not sure I'll use them again except for my warranty.
It was an exhausting week of work.
Now I have 2 weeks of repair.

I had an electric emergency after hrs. It had me worried that it may cause a fire. I would not be able to get a good night's sleep worrying about my family. I called at least 8 companys claiming to be 24 hr emergency service. Non of them could come until the next moring at the earliest. I finally got to Bacon and they had someone here in 1 1/2 hours. Jimmy arrived and was excellent. He kept me informed with everything he was doing every step of the way. He also broke it down so I could understand. He was kind enough to answer all my questions, some of which may have been silly. Ultimately he found that the problem was not with my home but on the Oncor end. He even called Oncor and got them to send an emergency response to resolve the problem at 5 am. I recommend Bacon 7 days a week and twice on Sunday!! Jimmy is a true asset the company and if all technicians are like him you will not be disappointed. In addition the price for emergency after hrs service was extremely reasonable for a 2 am service call!

I normally don’t give reviews but Brandon explained everything in detail and answered all my questions. I decided to sign up for the membership and they easily repaired a seal on my outdoor faucet that cracked from the freeze we had earlier this month. Now can you all schedule someone to come out and service my A/C?

Cesar and Mario did an awesome job fitting my new HVAC system! Could not be happier. Thanks also to Hector Castillo for his initial diagnosis (awesome) and Daniel L for follow up electrical work. Four super professional and freindly guys who did a great job. I also very much appreciate being given complete technical answers to questions without being patronized and no "mansplaining". Tech Dale and Dale provided good information and explained everything in simplicity. I just had them inspect my furnace which didn’t cost me anything since I’m a friends and family member. Now the actual service that needed to be performed seemed expensive to me but I do appreciate them letting me know what was needed.

Bacon Plumbing and Electric, front scheduling staff are quick and professional with setting appointment for your household issues. Bacon Plumbing will send you a text with the technician picture and name when they are headed to your house. Sedrick Rose arrived and I explained the plumbing problem we were experiencing. Sedrick then evaluated the situation and made his suggesting and recommendations. We went over his recommendations together and he gave me several price options letting me make the decision. We picked out a new toilet and agreed since it was late afternoon he would return tomorrow to do the installation. Sedrick did run the camera down the plumbing pipes to inspect and make sure all pipes were in good condition. Our house is 15 yrs old and pipes do crack so as a house owner it is a relief to know Sedrick took this extra step.
I also had a problem with a gas sewer smell in the laundry room that I asked Sedrick to take a look at. He examined the problem and ran a camera down laundry piping . After 15 years of build up Sedrick recommended a hydro jet cleaning to clear out the build up. He will be completing that project tomorrow as well.
Sedrick is very knowledgeable and has a very professional manner. Our family highly recommends Bacon Plumbing and Electrical for your household needs. Our family have been clients for 10 years or more. We find the Friends and Family plan to be worth the extra money since it offers discount and also quarterly inspections such as HVAC, Water heater drainage, plumbing, electrical and garage door maintenance. Bacon Plumbing and Electric always provides quick appointments and will work with your work schedules.

Hector Castillo was on point. He is amazing!!! Hector literally took the time to look over everything and took his time in doing so. Then advised me on what service I needed. After making a phone call, I settled to get my a/c capacitor replaced due to it being overworked in a 4 year old house. He explained everything in a well understanding way. He said he had the parts on hand so I decided to get the work recommended done. After explaining he was more of a senior tech in the company, how could I refuse his knowledge? Now I feel I can rest easy knowing I paid $600 verses $15k.

I have had Bacon out for three things so far: once to quote a water heater, once to check out an issue with my HVAC unit's heating function, and once to seal up a hole in my ducting. All interactions have been friendly and helpful. The technicians were never pushy and the quotes were reasonable. Austen was my HVAC tech both times and he was amazing. His work was excellent and he was both professional and friendly. He was also very good about explaining everything in detail so I knew what was wrong and what was needed. Overall, great experience so far with this company. I will definitely use them in the future for HVAC needs and any plumbing needs outside of my own capabilities. Thank you!

I was grateful for Brandon’s prompt arrival—about a hour after calling for emergency service. He did an amazing job troubleshooting and fixing my problem (hot water heater stopped working). He replaced the failed part and then provided recommendations for thawing the frozen hot water pipe in my attic. The system is back up and running. I was very impressed with Brandon.

I called them out initially because the water heater was making a noise and needed to be flushed. I signed up for their friends and family maintenance membership for $16 a month and they did the flush at no extra cost on top of inspecting six major aspects of the house. Matthew was very professional and very friendly and knowledgeable about everything that I had a question about. I’m absolutely going to continue to use them!

I had a great experience with Hayden C. He was professional, kind, and took the time to thoroughly explain the electrical issues and the repair process to me. I really appreciated his patience in answering all my questions—it’s clear he knows his trade well and cares about his customers understanding the work being done.

Today was the 4th time I've had a Bacon technician at my house to install, fix or add something. They are beyond fair and their professionals always go above and beyond.
As a woman, having work done on my house can come with risk, but Bacon has found the best of the best people to work for them. I'm always at ease, they tell me everything that's happening and treat me respectfully. Today Zach was the electrician that did work on my place and he also went above and beyond.
They spoil me, they really do. Excellent company, excellent professionals, exceedingly impressed.

We had to get some electrical stuff done in the house and our tech was Andrew. The experience was great from beginning to end. Andrew was very informative about what the prior contractor did wrong and what he would be doing to rectify the situation. He came and did a thorough job and also provided pics and a detailed summary of what he did. Definitely a great guy you have working for your company. Would recommend him to anybody.

Brandon Moore was my technician and he did an amazing job. He knows his stuff and he was very efficient and when he performed the work I had to have my tankless water heater replaced. He replaced it in little under two hours by himself he made sure that things were working and he just took the time to explain things properly to me. There was something else going on with my waterline outside that I thought was from the water heater and it was not he made sure to shut that off so I don’t have that problem any longer. I will definitely be using this company again because of Brandon. After three months of no hot water, we finally have hot water again!!
