Unfortunately, we have to leave a bad review. We had a new evaporator installed and everything seemed to be going well until I went into the attic to change the AC filter. The pan underneath the unit was full of water. I sponged out 14 gallons of water. Silver Spur came out a second time to re-level the coil and replace the plastic pan inside the unit. A few days later I had to go back up and get my sponge out. The technician (Daniel. Real nice guy) Could not figure out what was going on and just put his hands up. He even suggested getting another company out to look at it. I did that and the other company came out and said the coil was not installed correctly. As a matter of fact, The parts that the technician was supposed to install were lying on our insulation in the attic. All he had to do was connect a little tube that runs from the coil to the plastic pan. When Daniel left, he even forgot to put the AC filter back in. The new company noticed that there was insulation in the fan from the replacement of the coil, He said it looked as though the technician from Silver Spur was in a hurry. I have been so frustrated with Silver Spur AC. Daniel said that he does not really know Carrier products. OMG. we made a mistake. We had to pay another company to come out and fix the issue. Silver Spur has said several times that they would call me but they have never reached out. It is like they don't care. Don't use Silver Spur or Emergency AC for your AC needs.

My sales rep chris was an amazing guy. Customer service was A+++. Afew concerns came up after i stall but were immediatly addressed and resolved. The install crew were friensly a d professional and the installer that came to my home later that night was also an A+++ guy as well. Chris answered my call or text nomatter what time it was. This is a good business and i recommend it for a professional job and a peaceful experiance. Well done guys.

The process of choosing the HVAC components I needed showed that Emergency AC knew what they were doing.
I changed my mind several times & they were patient with me and got back to me within about 5 minutes each time, even after hours.
I was replacing an old system that had failed and they set up the install for the day after I stopped futzing around with making my decisions.
I had 4 quotes and Emergency AC was the best value, although the others were not too much higher.
And finally the installers were efficient and left things neat and tidy, they took less time than I expected, their workmanship looked good, even the caulking to seal entrances to the house for the compressor pipes was well done.

Very good experience with all personnel involved in replacing our a!c unit. John was a pleasure to work with & so helpful in choosing our new system with follow up calls to check that install was on target. Very responsive & timely service.

John and the guys at Emergency AC were incredible to work with. They were easy going and knowledgeable while getting the job done in no time at all. Thanks and we can’t recommend them enough.

Emergency A/C is my future repair company of choice. I’ve had three other companies fail to fix my A/C. James M, (tech) did a stellar job. His thorough and procedural approach found the A/C bleeding out in the attic. He communicated and showed me the pics. He was clear and honest that he didn’t have the right sealants for the leak, but returned promptly on time the following day around my schedule. Outstanding. I’ll stick with Emergency A/C here in Round Rock.

.our credit is not amazing we were having problems getting financing then in came emergency ac. They got us approved and installed in 4 days. The install was fast and the workers were very professional. Even when we had a small issue they came.out and fixed it next day. I recommend them to everyone

We had amazingly quick help, John called me as soon as I submitted an inquiry and sent me quotes for a new system within the hour, he was also adamant that they make sure a new unit was the right thing to do. Sam came out as a second opinion for our HVAC unit and was super thorough. They installed a new system the next day, great price and brand. Also had them at our mothers house the next day, where we received a quote from a different company for parts replacement, but were recommended to get a new system also. Sam went out there and found that emergency heat needed to be turned on, and no additional fixes were necessary. John checked on us and was always available to answer our questions and help educate us along the way. Thank you so much for the knowledge and honesty! Highly recommend!! I was going out of town on a Sunday and needed a smart thermostat to be up and running before I left. Emergency AC of Austin lived up to its name and went above and beyond to help finalize installation. My service technician was fantastic and would highly recommend their services in the future.

Byron was fast, processional, friendly, and only here for a short time. He got my AC up and running and my home was already substantially cooler by the time he pulled away. He also made sure to answer all questions and made sure we had no more questions or concerns before leaving. I would highly recommend!

Our neighbor referred us to
Emergency AC of Austin. They were fantastic! Our AC stopped working overnight. They came the day we called. Byron was quick, friendly, and very helpful. It turns out we needed an item that was backordered and hard to find. They found it in Fort Worth and had it to us a few days later. He fixed it and it was in working condition when we returned home. Friendly, efficient, fair prices!!

I had an excellent experience with James from Emergency AC! He did an outstanding job inspecting my AC system, showing both professionalism and a friendly attitude throughout the process. James conducted a thorough inspection, carefully examining every part of my unit. He pointed out all the issues that needed attention and addressed each one efficiently. This post is about the repair price, not the service person or visit. This company is now called Silver Spur Air. The service person was on site for 1 hour, 20 minutes. The service rep ended up replacing a very common part for the two outdoor units. The charge was exorbitant, given the two common replacement parts and time to complete the installation. Your company can make a nice/fair profit without charging exorbitant prices/rates. This is the first time and last time that I use this company due to the exorbitant repair price/rates.

Amazing company with quick and reliable service. John made himself quickly available to talk me through an installation quote. He also walked me through what worked best for me and my family. The installers were also very professional, friendly, and completed the job quickly. Will be referring family and friends!

Complete scope of work. Other cos didnt have the complete scope. Install crew appears to have done a good job. Experienced. This was a difficult job. Attic install with tight space. They came through. Good coordination with the office. Would definitely recommend this co. Good quality job.

Called Silver Spur in an emergency AC situation and from start to finish they were nothing but professional and extremely helpful. Twyla, on the phone, quickly assessed our issue, made contact with her technician and scheduled a fast call out. Daniel and Dylan came out on time, assessed and fixed the issue very quickly, and I was only too happy to join their maintenance program. They even dropped the call out charge for that!! Ty was great, super knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. I called this morning at 11:15a and they sent Ty out the same day and he arrived at 1:00p, which is incredibly fast. He noticed one issue that he fixed right away and we have a plan if it doesn't completely solve our problem. Fee was reasonable (especially considering the time it took him) and I'm very happy with the service overall. Will definitely be using them again in the future if there are any issues.

I got my whole system done by this company when it was called Emergency AC two years ago, and they have always been quick and effective.

My AC stopped working last night later than when I thought they'd be answering phones but I was able to make an appointment for the next day.

I was helped by Daniel Walker and another technician. They showed up on time, were respectful and kind, and it was just an issue where a wire got loose on the thermostat I installed. They fixed it quickly and I would def recommend using this company!

Silver Spur did an outstanding job of replacing our HVAC system. When I called to make an appointment the lady that scheduled us was very sweet and was able to get us a next day appointment for a free estimate. I had called about 10 other companies in the area and Silver Spur gave us the best quote that balanced both affordability and service. I felt that we were getting a great deal for the brand and type of unit we needed while still getting the service that comes with an established company. At the time we were completely without AC during the heat of the summer and Silver Spur sent techs that waited with me and worked with me to ensure that I was getting the unit that I wanted and went out of their way to move their plans around so that they could do a next day instillation. I received the brand I was looking for in the price range I was happy with, along with a discount and a new high tech thermostat as added benefits. So far the ac is working great and I’m happy to know that they also offered a year of labor warranty incase anything happens. By far happy with the price, service, and timing of their company, and their techs that installed the unit were quiet and curious to us during the transition as well.

James Maddox has tended to two of our service calls for our air conditioner problems. He is super helpful and answers all the questions that I have about our unit. Also he is straight forward with what the issue is and addresses how to fix it in a timely fashion.
