I highly recommend Rowlett Air, I have been using them for years. From the first call to them, to the service call, it is first class all the way with reasonable prices. I have Referred 2 of my friends to them and they have had great experiences too. Honest and knowledgeable would be the best way to describe them.

I have used Rowlett Air since 1998. They have installed. Maintained and replaced our units. I trust this company. The service personal is friendly and always has a solution.
The company knows the best size unit for my house. They install quickly and professionally. There is never a mess left after a job. They take pride in the work they do.
If you are looking for a good company to take care of your heating and AC needs, this is it!

Hunter was great! He was polite and did a good and quick job installing a new blower motor in our heat exchanger.

The issue is with the company itself. I filled out the form on the website one evening when our air stopped working. The next day around lunchtime, I hadn't heard from them and gave them a call. Luckily, they could come out the same day. Why didn't they call me?

I was told they would have to search for a new blower motor the next day (I guess A/C services shut down after 4 pm). The next day as it got close to lunchtime, I hadn't hear a word. I called them and was told that they had contacted Carrier and were waiting to hear back on getting the blower motor. How long does it take to type a part number into an inventory system? Either way, no communication.

I asked if I could obtain the part myself and still have them install it. I was told yes, but there would be no warranty. I had the part in my hands in 30 minutes. Why can an A/C not find something, that I can find immediately? Why did they not call me to get my business after I filled out the form on their website or call me to let me know what was going on with the part they were "trying" to find?

Had I not been proactive, I might still be sitting here in a hot house waiting. I wanted to give my business to a small, local company, however, after this experience, I'm calling the biggest company that I see a commercial for on local television the next time that I need work done.

We have used Rowlett Air for HVAC service for many years. Their service calls are always prompt, and they arrive when they say that they will. Their technicians are very pleasant and trustworthy. I highly recommend them.

Rowlett Air installed the Climate systems on our new home several years ago and have serviced them Spring and Fall ever since. They did an excellent job on the installation, and have continued in the following years of maintenance. They are very thorough, detaled and efficient in their maintenance and servicing of the A/C and furnace systems. Rowlett Air is Primarily a family business, and their staff, family or not is courteous and knowlegeable, and they are on time if not early. I have never regretted using them from day one! Excellent company, excellent service! I have Referred them to my friends and family who also use them!

They were responsive & professional. I called them in a panic and they first, calmed my fears and set to work fixing the issues I had that another AC company said was beyond repair. The were factual and didn’t sugar coat anything. Honest, courteous and reliable. I’ll never call another company!!

I would skip this place. My AC stopped working. My husband had used them previously, so I stuck with someone who might already know our system. The service fee was $129. He came. He diagnosed the problem and gave me a whole laundry list of things he thought was wrong with the system. He said he would check on the part that needs to be replaced and get back with me. I didn't feel right about any of the exchange. He just didn't feel like he was shooting straight with me. I called him and told him don't worry about ordering the part. I got a bill shortly thereafter. They charged me $129 for the service fee (all that was really done), then charged me another $115 for labor (there was no labor done at all). I think the $129 service fee is warranted as they came out and looked at the unit. I think the $115 labor fee is unwarranted since no labor was done. I emailed them back with that same reply. The response was...
"I took a look at the invoice and compared it with GPS. The technician was there for over an hour which is the residential labor rate of 115.00 that was charged on your invoice. The Service Call of 129.00 gets my technician to you. Please keep in mind that It costs money to train these individuals, insure them and pay their salary. Maintenance, tires, gas and insurance on the vans are not cheap and the office people who schedule calls and find your parts don’t work for free either. Then when you cancelled the repair we also had to wait on hold to talk to the supply house to cancel the order we placed for the motor. Therefore, I do believe the charges are reasonable and accurate."
I appreciate the courteous response but the parts were never ordered or cancelled. This service call was done last thing Friday night and then I called first thing Monday to cancel any further services and the gentleman told me then that they had not ordered the part cause it was on back-order (they had not backordered either). I know this is a slow season for HVAC in Texas but this is just trying to get money for work not done. I won't be using them again, and I recommend the same to others.
