I started using MaidPro 3 weeks ago for a recurring weekly cleaning. Life is extremely busy, so it's nice to have the help so that I can spend more time enjoying the family on the weekends. Patricia cleaned my house yesterday, and she did such a thorough job. I appreciate her attention to detail. And, communication on upcoming cleaning times and some specific questions, has been amazing! Overall, it's been a great experience!

I wasn’t sure where to post this, but I’m absolutely livid.

A few weeks ago, I fractured my foot and have been in a boot since. It’s been really hard to get things done, especially with my boyfriend out of town for work. Between working full-time and taking care of 5 pets, I needed extra help around the house. I reached out to the “Ask a Local” group several times, and each time, I was recommended MaidPro for a one-time cleaning.

After researching, I decided to give them a try. I requested a quote and was contacted by Samantha, the Assistant Manager. We discussed the square footage, rooms, and my basic cleaning needs (plus baseboards). Just to be clear, no pet areas were involved. I was quoted $469.66 for a 6-hour cleaning, which felt high, but I needed help, and I liked that they were an insured and bonded company.

The cleaners arrived yesterday. Near the end of their time, Samantha called me while I was at work to say they didn’t have enough time to finish and would need an extra 30-45 minutes. She didn’t mention any extra charges, just asked for permission to stay longer, which I agreed to.

This afternoon, I checked my bank account and saw I’d been charged $938.15. I was shocked. How did a $469 cleaning jump to $900?

I contacted the company, and their explanation didn’t match what I was told or what’s in their service agreement. After reviewing my Ring camera footage, I realized the cleaners were only at my house from 1:23 pm to 6:30 pm – 5 hours, not the 6 hours quoted. Samantha had told me they exceeded the time, but that’s clearly not true.

According to their agreement, the 6 hours should have been split between two cleaners working 3 hours each. It is noted as well that if there are 2 cleaners, the duration would be half the time, which in itself was a lie because they stated they went over time. So why was I charged for extra time? And why wasn’t the job done properly? For $400, I expected better than what I could’ve done myself – my bathroom sinks and shower weren’t even scrubbed.

I’m not someone who likes to complain, but being lied to about the time, on top of poor service, is unacceptable. I’ve asked to communicate only via text now since this all happened when I spoke to them over the phone. They keep requesting to talk over the phone which I also find weird, after they were caught in a lie. I’m working with my bank to resolve the overcharge, but I wanted to warn others to be careful before trusting this comp

Kaitlyn does a phenomenal job and is extremely efficient with her time. With a 5 and 1 year old in the house all day, the crumbs and toys accumulate quickly, but Kaitlyn manages to make it look like I actually have my life together! The office staff is also very accommodating with my schedule and quick to resolve any issues. I highly recommend MaidPro.
