I called Clean Air a month ago to do a AC cooling load calculation. I am a repeat customer and had no problems in the past. I arranged to work from home the day of our appointment and the guy doesn't show up. I call and he says he mixed up the dates and came over an hour and a half late. He does the measurements and tells me he'll have a proposal in a week. I am serious about replacing my system and I have high end requirements such as independent zones, smart appliance features, perhaps using a ductless system, etc. A week goes by and no word. I call and he says the guy who does the calculation had a death in the family and it will be another week. I get it, life happens. Wait another week, no word. Call and told he will call me back. Doesn't. Another week, call again, doesn't return my call. Another week, no answer. Geez. I'm trying to give this company over 10K of business and they totally blow me off and are totally unapologetic. I will never give them my business again. TOTALLY UNRELIABLE!

Love my new AC System! I had a really old system that needed a complete re-haul done in order to get everything up to code. They did an excellent job, cleaned up after everything was setup and reviewed how to use it with me. I'll be replacing another unit next year and will call them again!

Clean Air was great. They replaced one of our units at a fair price. They brought out a portable AC unit until our AC was fixed. They were extremely thorough. The service was wonderful, and the technicians were professional.

Finding a great A/C repair service is like finding a great mechanic: It's almost impossible to know who you can trust. Clean Air Heating & Air Conditioning makes that simple. The last few times I've needed A/C work, they have responded and resolved the issue within hours. That's saying a lot in South Texas in the summertime.

Most recently was just a few weeks ago. After returning home from the hospital following an outpatient surgery, I realized something was wrong with our A/C. I called Regan at Clean Air Heating & Air Conditioning, and he had someone out within an hour, and the house was cool again by the afternoon. And the technician fixed the problem without jacking us around and suggesting a bunch of expensive unnecessary work. This is a lot different from our prior experience with Cowboy's A/C... They came out a few years ago to do one of those $29 "spring tune-up" specials on our unit, and it stopped working the next day. Coincidence? Doubtful.

Ever since then, we've used Clean Air Heating & A/C, and they have done an amazing job. Can you find cheaper service? Yes--but you get what you pay for. Personally I much prefer to pay a little bit more for someone knowledgeable and trustworthy to do quality work on my A/C than pay less for crappy service that ultimately results in hundreds or thousands lost. Clean Air was truly professional. The indoor central air and heating system broke. Clean Air came in and evaluated the system and recommended replacement of the indoor unit only. Their technician were very knowledgeable and replaced the system and then a separate technician came in and performed a quality control and assurance check to ensure the system was installed correctly and is operating as intended.
