At Samaniegos they gave us options and explained which parts needed to be replaced vs replacing the whole unit. They were very professional and treated us like family. I called Samaniego for an ac issue because my client preferred them for their investment property. I called them after hours and they arrived at the property the very next day. I was extremely impressed by their prompt response time and customer service. This doesn't happen very often when I have to use an outside contractor. Great service!

Ladies and gentlemen, this company is the real deal. After having two HVAC company visit my home I was disappointed of the quality of the HVAC companies in San Antonio. The first one flood my home damaging my ceiling and the other charging exorbitant price for a new system + 287 per lb for freon. I was referred to Samaniego heating and air by a friend who had worked with them some 6 years ago but due to my distrust I ask Tony to bid against two others. From the start Mr. Tony Samaniego was above the rest...his bid proposal was more detailed and was quick to answer any questions I had while the others wouldn't return my call to answer my questions...after green lighting them for the job Mr. Samaniego recommend a trane 5 ton system and spend the time to explain why he is recomming this system and why he thinks it's the best for my family. The Team of 4 people took a few hours to remove my old system and to put in a brand new trane system (9am-3pm) excluding lunch...did I mention they bought me lunch..that very day I had A/C and the heat came online the second day they came to set up my thermostat and make sure everything was working ok. Sometimes we're so taken advantage of that we don't trust people but I can say this company is serving people of San Antonio with honor and I highly recommend them.

Tony Samaniego came out on a Saturday to check out our A/C problem. Explained everything and answered all my questions. Sunday to do the contract. He was always punctual and respectful. We had a new system put in and works wonderfully. I recommend him completely and will likely use him for two more jobs. Go with Tony!! He called to check to see if we were happy with the unit after it was running.

Gold Standard came to service my HVAC to make sure everything is working correctly as I felt that our my a/c unit wasn’t cooling enough. The tech that came to service our unit was professional, knowledgeable and diagnosed the issue promptly.

Andrew and Tino were the technicians who worked on my unit. They quickly identified the issue preventing it from cooling, ordered the necessary part and got it fixed. Now, it’s working like new!

The team showed up and was courteous, informative and helped me understand the inner workings of the system. Making an appointment was effortless and they had a lot of flexibility with scheduling. Techs were professional and showed up right when they said they were. would not hesitate to book them again for winter prep.

Tino came to my residence and replaced an AC Coil. The process from Gold Standard was identifying the problem and getting a solution.
The coil arrived in two weeks and the installation was quick and efficient. Everyone from Tony keeping me informed on the transit status of the AC coil to Tino setting it up and running was smooth all the way around. Top professionals at all times and the job gets done right. Highly recommend this business to all folks who have issues with their Air Conditioning and heating. Tony and his crew replaced a 20 year old AC system for my Parents residence and we were not disappointed! Tony, his Son and Tino were awesome at their job and it reflected on their workmanship! These guys don’t play around when getting the job done correctly the first time! I’ve used Tony’s service previously in 2017 and so did my Parents in 2018! His reputation is totally awesome and he’ll give you an honest opinion on what you should have regarding AC and heating units. We want to deal only with local companies that have a great review and are honest and this definitely one of them! Kudos to Tony and his crew!
Update the new AC unit had a minor leak and Tino and his apprentice arrived at my Parents and corrected the issue. The AC is up and running with no issues. I don’t fault the installation because anything new will always have glitches. What I admire was the prompt response getting this fixed and my Parents and I was not disappointed . This is why I give this company 5 stars! Great job!!!!

They did not properly diagnose my HVAC units. They reported a false report to my home warranty and the claim was denied. I don't know how they were even able to diagnose the air handler when they didn't take it apart to throughly look at it and claim the evaporative cooler outside was "improperly installed" when it's never been replaced. They just told me this, that, and the other and took 3 days to submit their report. Waste of the service fee I paid the warranty company. The warranty company proved useless as well (Old Republic). They were more than happy to avoid paying a claim.

Great service by friendly folks. What could be better? 😃
