Really great experience with this place. I picked up a small mini split unit for my garage. Jason was at the shop when he said he would be there and even had made me a handwritten cheat sheet for the DIY install I was going to do the next day. I had a small hiccup during the install and he talked me through it over the phone and got the unit running. Great service and communication.

Very good pricing on 1 ton ductless heatpump minisplits, $550 out the door. I bought 1 for my master bedroom. A friend of mine did the same thing and was SAVING 70% of what he was paying on his utility bill by turning the central AC OFF and running the minisplit to cool his master bedroom at night since none of his other room needed to cooled since they were unoccupied. I was suffering in this unbearable heat and TX Mini Splits saved me! They are affordable, knowledgeable, efficient and very nice! I can keep my unit at 72 degrees and it is comfortably cold. There is little to no noise from the unit itself. I would recommend them to anyone!

Finally called them to set up AC & Heat check since they no longer call the customer to set up. Very disappointed with this company in speaking with Katherine she basically said if customer doesn’t remember to call and set up check service you loose out!! So We lost out on a year’s service due to not following up ourselves. Beware those of you looking to buy. We had not had any problems till now. Very sad that they didn’t let us know.Being senior citizens and on a budget you want to make sure you are being taken care of as stated when we made our big purchase. Very disappointing!!

I've been a customer of SA Secialties for more then 10 years. They are always reliable and professional. They're prices are comparable to others in the industry but their service sets them above those others.

I live in San Antonio and my air condition went out the first day of June. We were so hot! We called S.A. Specialities and the owner himself came out that day and gave us a quote the same day. Notably, he didn’t push us to the most expensive option but instead discussed our needs and actually recommended a cheaper option. The cost was also less than other estimates. Once we agreed, they did the install the very next morning. The install went great and they went the extra mile. One technician even came back to double check some work just to make sure it was done right. Payment was easy. Most importantly for me, pricing was upfront and transparent. I have had some had some awful experiences with other air condition companies. This experience was about as good as I could have pictured between price and service. I hardly ever leave reviews but I felt I had to in this case. Like most people, I just want to be treated fair and I truly felt they went beyond that with me.

Technician Diego was totally awesome and great with explaining everything he did and what I needed. I would definitely recommend SASpecialties for your go to on your home needs.

I was nearly ran over by yhe driver of vehicle 259 , the driver was erratically driving slamming in between other vehicles almost causing multiple vehicle accidents. The office was notified twice with a very nonchalant person acting like this is acceptable behavior. I have medical conditions that this horrible incident affected. Do something 🤔 about this driver. When I mentioned he was acting like someone died the person on the phone said let's not even mention things like that God forbid...what the heck about all of us that reckless driver could of harmed we were going faster than 60mph. SA specialties did our AC/Heat unit replacements in 2018/2019 and has been great to work with on maintenance and repairs. On 10/31/2025 their technician Damian was quick to diagnose a problem with our heat and courteous/professional in the process. Thanks SA Specialties!

Had called to have a technician come out to diagnose a problem with my heating portion of HVAC on the 20th of January. Technician mentioned it could be a bad transformer, but could not be sure if unit would work after replacing bad Transformer. The transformer was changed and furnace did not work. Technician recommended I call an electrician for further diagnosis. I requested that the old transformer be put back in place, as this did not correct the problem of no heat. I requested this but was denied. I was charged $768, with no fix, or solution to my problem. I called another company out they diagnosed problem correctly, fixed the issue and heat is back on.
I will not be using SA Specialties in the future. I had used them in the Houston location with no issues.
The price of a transformer is under $100. $768 is excessive. As the new company mentioned this was excessive.
At least I discovered a new company I will now use in the future.

As usual, SA specialities responded quickly, diagnosed my issues promptly, and presented me with reasonable and fair solutions. The technician Raymond was prompt and professional and he took his time and walked me through every question I had. I asked a lot. I always recommend SA specialties.
