I wish I had Googled them and read the reviews before calling and having them come out. All I wanted was for them to replace the cold water faucet that my washing machine uses. When the technician arrived he spent 30 minutes reviewing my water pressure and then another 10 minutes coming up with an estimate to fix the water pressure valve out where the water comes from the street. And then he gave me an estimate of $3000+ to do that because if I didn’t fix it it was going go bad… and that was giving me the senior citizen discount!
After I declined that, he spent 10 minutes replacing the hot and cold water faucets that I had called about. And then charged me $690 for replacing the hot and cold water faucets (shut off valves) + two stainless steel hoses leading to the washer.
And that was AFTER WAIVING the $89 diagnostic fee and giving me the 5% SENIOR DISCOUNT!.
After complaining to friends about the outrageous price and their continuous efforts to SELL me something I didn’t need, it was suggested that I call and get them to give me a bill that listed the work they had done, and detailed the costs for parts and labor. But when I called, I was told that that’s not how they did their bills. And then they emailed me a copy of the same bill they gave me when they did the work.
My advice to anyone reading this is to do better research than I did. You’re sure to find someone who’s not trying to SELL and is more interested in doing the plumbing work you called them about.

We have two water heaters and use propane to heat them and our house. Understand they should be flushed once per year and the rods checked for decay.
Alex was right on time. Like their ETA system that allows me to know exactly when to expect them. Alex put on his shoe coverings and went right to work inspecting them. No problem with the newest one but the 5 year old heater required a new rod. Alex took a picture and showed us the damage of the current rod. Installed a new replacement rod with 4 year guarantee. Alex was very knowledgeable and professional in his work. Will ask for Alex to come back next year to flush them again for us.

Richard was fantastic. He was professional, punctual, and quickly identified the problem. Richard explained everything clearly and made sure the issue was fully resolved before leaving. The service was efficient, clean, and stress-free.

Richard was very clean, courteous and professional. He walked me step by step what he was going to do and carefully explained the pricing. Awesome service and even better person. I would definitely call Richard again if I need any plumbing repairs in the future.

Main line Repair: Goettl came out and repaired the main line into my house after it broke. What they failed to do was install the correct size pipe to match the sprinkler system. This created a water hammer in the system and cracked another pipe.
When I spoke to Goettl about fixing it they told me they do not do sprinkler systems and there's nothing they could do. When I asked for a refund they said that the fix was sufficient. We will not be using them anymore. If I could give them zero stars I would.

Even after reaching out after this review was posted this multi-million dollar company refused to acknowledge that they didn't provide a proper fix to the problem.

We hired a different company who identified the problem and fixed it in about an hour. Goettl took $2200 of my hard earned money and did nothing for the issue. Bad company only looking out for themselves.

Outstanding experience with Andrew Morgan! I normally don’t write reviews, but wanted to express my gratitude for Andrew coming by for maintenance to our heating system as part of the membership. He is highly knowledgeable, professional, and took the time to explain how the system works. I will be asking for Andrew the next time I make an appointment because he did a great job documenting, taking pictures, testing the system in the attic and the outside unit, and identifying potential issues or concerns. I have had great experiences with all Goettl technicians since installing our unit and recommend the company as a whole. Thank you

Andrew Alexander Morgan did a great job. He was very thorough . My elderly mother is a talker so thank you for having patience. I know I had to leave a price but we have a 3-year maintenance program with them, And I'm sure it's in that price range. Haven't had any problems with Goettl , so far we've been satisfied.

Josue from Goettl is an absolute STAR and a true lifesaver! I’ve been struggling with air quality issues, and he went above and beyond to thoroughly check my AC system and ductwork. He found that my ducts were not sealed properly and clearly explained everything, recommending a duct cleaning, sealing, and a UV light air purifier.

I called so many companies before this, and no one took the time, care, or patience that Josue did. His customer service was outstanding, his knowledge was impressive, and he genuinely cared about making sure I got the right solution, not just a sale. I was honestly surprised by how detailed and honest he was.

If you want things done the right way, I 100% recommend Goettl and especially Josue to have in your home. Truly top-notch service!

Had some drainage issues over the weekend and placed a call in to Goettl. My appointment was set for Monday morning. Juan showed up and introduced himself and the service he was providing. After ensuring we were on the same page, he got to work. Service was straightforward, clean, and most importantly, it accurately fixed our issue. Peace of mind, specifically with home plumbing, is a great thing. Thanks Juan and Goettl.

William the tech came out inspected our whole system to find out why it wasn’t cooling. Turned out the contractor who leveled my home 2 days earlier crimped the pipe from the outside unit and cause it to crack leaving us with a huge coolant leak. Will wrote us a report to send to the contractor for reimbursement of the broken lines. Unfortunately he didn’t have the necessary supplies with him however they came back the very next day to run new line set and correctly set the exterior unit back up leveled again. Systems fixed and I’m very satisfied! Thank goodness since they installed that system new 8 months earlier!

I had an appointment this afternoon with Billy McDermott from Goettle Air Conditioning, and I couldn’t be more impressed. He was thorough, detailed, transparent, and understanding throughout the entire process. His professionalism and care made the experience excellent. We will definitely continue doing business with Goettle and look forward to future service with Billy!

As a first-time homebuyer, I requested a free quote from Goettl for blown insulation (1,100 sq ft). After doing my research, I was shocked to receive a quote of $6,000, more than $3,500 higher than the next two companies I contacted. One of the other technicians literally laughed when I shared Goettl’s number.
Beyond the pricing, I was not informed upfront that their $12.95/month membership requires a minimum 24-month commitment with a significant early cancellation fee. That kind of fine print should be disclosed clearly, not buried.
I felt taken advantage of as someone new to homeownership. I won’t be using Goettl for any future home needs and can’t recommend them in good conscience.

Jeremy did an excellent job with our HVAC service. He was on time, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. The work was done efficiently and at a fair price. You can tell he really knows his stuff. I highly recommend Jeremy for any HVAC needs.

I run an Airbnb with 5 rooms in my home, and my tankless water heater suddenly went out. In my case, this was an emergency, especially with the weather getting colder. Goettl ensured that a technician arrived within a few hours, and Juan Gil showed up in good spirits and ready to solve the puzzle.

Like most people, I typically search for the cheapest service I can find, and I end up having other plumbers come out to check out issues with my tankless water heater, who run their mouths, upsell parts (that don't seem to be causing the problem), and generally don't really know enough about tankless water heaters. This time, I decided to go with an experienced company with a good reputation, and I am glad that I did - Goettl's prices are very reasonable and worth the service they provide.

Juan, was very knowledgeable, patient, and persistent. Even better, he was careful and humble enough to acknowledge that he didn't know everything and checked with the manufacturer at every step. Juan spent a great deal of time helping me diagnose the problem (which always seems impossible to ascertain quickly with machines like tankless water heaters), and went above and beyond to ensure that my guests and I had hot water tonight.

Juan never got frustrated; he handled everything carefully and made sure to clean up after himself when he was done. If I can have Juan take care of all of my plumbing or AC issues in the future, I will. And if you're reading reviews to decide whether to call Goettl for your issue, I would encourage you to trust their service and experience. My experience with Juan was definitely memorable.

We now have hot water again. Can I get a "hell yeah"?

Great experience...I had Darean come to my home to replace my Emergency water stop valve for my toilet. Darean explained to me what needed to be done and the how he would correct the problem. Very professional yet personalable. Water was shut off via the shut off valve outside. Process to replace Emergency water shut off valve for toilet took maybe 45 minutes...Very happy with the service we received and also the call experience I had with Sadie. Detailed and professional with getting me scheduled. Darean also took the time to explain the the monthly protection/preventative plans available...they seem smart and affordable. I will be using Goettl in the future for our home...Thank you Goettl !!!!

We had an excellent experience and couldn’t be more grateful. Richard W. came out the day before New Year’s, which alone says a lot about his professionalism and dedication. He serviced our water heater promptly and thoroughly, and when the pilot light wouldn’t stay lit, he didn’t rush the job or leave it unresolved. Instead, he took extra time to replace the pilot light mechanism and made sure everything was working perfectly before he left. Friendly, knowledgeable, and truly went above and beyond. Highly recommend to anyone looking for reliable and honest plumbing service.

Today was my first experience with Goettl and Eddie was great. He was kind, respectful, and thorough with his service. He explained everything he did to our AC system and provided plenty of photos to show me what he did. The membership is incredibly reasonable at only $12 a month and for something as valuable as an AC system in texas it was a no brainer to sign up. He also never pushed any sales on me which I appreciate. I signed up for the membership simply through his educating and recommendation as to how he approaches his maintenance.

Richard did an outstanding job servicing my tankless water heater. He was professional, thorough, and took the time to explain everything he was doing so I felt confident the system was in great shape. He also went above and beyond by checking my water softener and testing my home’s water pressure to make sure everything was operating properly. It’s clear he takes pride in his work and cares about doing the job right the first time. Highly recommend Richard if you want knowledgeable, reliable service.

Following up a month later! Mixed reviews. Very professional and courteous. Alex Nelson did thorough quarterly check. Will def be back for any A/C needs!

Plumbing install however is a mixed bag.

Had a clogged drain and Jeff was out and did a great job. He also looked at our hot water heater and confirmed it really need replacement and we talked thru the options.

Install the following day, speedy, courteous, and pricing was where I expected for a good on demand circulating gas water heater. Expensive but satisfied with the brand and price. Install seemed to go smoothly until this am.

Turns out the recirculating crossover is installed poorly. See attached pics. Flexible hose pulled so tight its preventing water flow to the sink. And it’s not just one hose, it’s three connections! Am very disappointed in what appears to be intentional cutting corners. I checked out other areas of install and also discovered that the external drain is also poorly caulked. I had already pointed out as they were wrapping up that there should be some caulking, and they said they’d take care of it. Closer look today just shows how poorly they did.
Contacted Goettl and am expecting someone today to fix this shortcoming in workmanship.

For AC definitely a 5-star, plumbing 5-star,
install 1-star.
I’m hoping that they come thru on the service side and resolve the shoddy install.
