I was assigned Yeti through CPS for a free system service, and I truly wish they had assigned a different company.

The technician arrived and immediately started telling my wife that we’d be charged if they had to fix anything—despite this being a free system service visit. Instead of performing the service, he claimed my system had “too many problems” to proceed and handed me an $1,100+ estimate.

He even claimed my system was running at “less than 60% efficiency.” That’s hard to believe considering it’s the middle of summer and my home is being cooled just fine. It felt like scare tactics designed to upsell unnecessary work rather than provide the service I signed up for.

What really raised red flags was that Yeti sent me a set of photos to justify their estimate—but when I called the company who actually installed my condenser in 2021 (and who I trust), they reviewed the photos and confirmed that some of them weren’t even from my system. At best, Yeti was careless. At worst, they were intentionally misleading.

The second company came out, inspected my actual system, and found only a couple of pinhole leaks in the ductwork—which they patched for free. No $1,100 bill. No false scare tactics. Just honesty and good service.

Bottom line: Yeti Cooling and Heating tried to upsell me with fabricated issues and even used photos that weren’t from my system. This company is not trustworthy. If you value honesty and professionalism, look elsewhere.

Sam and Carlos did it again. I really appreciate the professionalism from these two. They were able to detect issues in the attic space while prepping the duct cleaning. The guys were able to get the duct cleaning done and replace all the concerning areas presented during the setup. Sam made it a priority to come back the next day to finalize the job. We are very grateful for the Yeti Team!

Was very impressed with Samuel. Took the time to thoroughly inspect our HVAC system, explained the issues, resolved the problem and provided future options in regards to better efficiency and/or replacement of the unit. In my 20 plus years of home ownership, Samuel was by far the most friendly and knowledgeable technician, who answered all of our numerous questions and never seemed rushed or disinterested. So glad Carlos stopped me, while I was out walking my dog, and gave me Yeti's information. A class act all around, including those answering the phones.

Yeti cooling and heating was assigned to do a home assessment of my hvac units and the technician assigned Macio was exceptional. He was thorough and very professional and courteous. He explained everything he did before and after he did it. Provided a detailed summary of his inspection and a course of action to resolve any and all issues he found. I was very pleased with the assessment. Highly recommend this company for any and all of your hvac needs.

The person who came was very kind and clear in the information he gave me. Excellent service. Very satisfied because she responded to all my concerns. I am waiting for the pictures and the information about my unit.

Outstanding Service and Friendly throughout the appointment.

CPS Energy Tune Up…System was cleaned inside and out plus was tested on efficiency before the cleaning and after. Carlos kept me updated on what he was doing at all times. From making sure drain was cleaned out with vinegar to taking the leaves out of the outside unit.

Carlos went above and beyond and took his time from start to finish. Sent pictures and explained what my system might/will need to help it run better.

Carlos was very nice and explained all that he was doing. He was very polite and I think he did a good job for me.

Yeti cooling and heating was great! Everyone was very professional and Macio our tech was extremely knowledgeable! He explained everything in detail to my husband. The service was extremely thorough and beneficial! We have never truly felt this at ease with any AC company. Yeti is definitely NOT out to get your money and they hire quality/skilled technicians!!

When Carlos first showed up he brought in my trash bin and interduced himself with a warm smile. He was so informative and explained everything he was doing. I can’t say enough good things about Yeti Cooling and Heating! Sam and his coworker(sorry I can’t remember his name) were so kind and patient with my very old AC unit (seriously, it’s almost a museum piece). Another company barely glanced at it before telling me I needed a brand-new system, but Yeti actually dug in, found the problem, and fixed it.

It’s such a relief to work with people who are honest and genuinely want to help. I trust them completely, and when the day finally comes that my AC decides to retire for good (hopefully not anytime soon…knock on wood!), Yeti will be my first call.
