Tommy (the GM) and his crew are outstanding. Quick and easy turnaround on an aging AC system that was full of mold and hardly working. They installed a top of the line system to replace and we are extremely happy with the entire process. I chose them because of the 5 star reviews. I see why now! We will be contacting them again to replace our downstairs system as well as soon as it kicks the bucket.

Mng.Coffey and the Installers, Victor and Abel demonstrated knowledge, skill, good communication and goals to do a difficult install job well. They worked very hard under difficult conditions and communicated unforseen challenges and solved them. They made sure we had AC the first night and came back the next day to make sure the job was completed to their high standards. Glad to find Above and Beyond Air Conditioning & Heating. I chose them because Tommy Coffey could communicate and assist in achieving a balance of quality HVAC products, quality install, efficiency, correct load with a fair price.

Their name says it all. My A/C went out Monday evening, so I tried to set up an appointment for Tuesday, but they were already booked. I called first thing Tuesday and the fit me in, Said they would be here between 2 and 4. Actually showed up more than an hour early, Quick easy fix and very affordable. These guys will be my new go to from now on.

Above and beyond Ac does exactly that. My name is Robert Brandon Gutierrez, I called above and beyond Ac at 8 o’clock at night on a Sunday. Not only did somebody answer but Tommy walked me through the issues I was having with my AC.
My AC had been installed by another company and Tommy still went above and beyond to help me through my problem. Actions like this Are hard to find in the world today, especially in the HVAC world!! Thank you Tommy you have secured a future client for life!

I called at about 3:00 Friday and agent was friendly, he was going to send someone that same day but I told him next day would be fine. Mathew showed up in a timely manner, calling to let me know he was on his way. Mathew quickly determined the problem. He took the time to explain process to fix. He even sent me video of the process to maintain system. My husband and I were impressed with work and decided to purchase a maintenance agreement as well.

Matthew, from above and beyond came out super fast for my clients who are under contract to purchase a home. My clients wanted to make sure the HVAC was operating smoothly; as we gear up for Texas summer having that piece of mind was super important to them.
Not only did he do a thorough inspection and cleaned the condenser unit, he also helped to educate my clients so that they could more easily maintain the unit themselves. Would definitely recommend again!

Got a new system with these guys two years ago and they have been great. What really sets them apart is their customer service and response time. The unit was leaking water and flooding early this morning. Since the business page said they were open, I gave them a call even though it was 5 AM. I felt kinda bad waking the guy up but they scheduled me for later the same morning and came out and fixed the issue. They really pride themselves on making sure your unit continues to work, give you advice on preemptive things you can do to prolong it and avoid issues, and you can tell they generally care that the unit they install for you continues to work well for years to come. Will always come back to them for any AC work.

First off I just want to say this for people who don’t want to read a long review. I highly recommend Above and Beyond Air Conditioning without any reservations. You will not be disappointed.

Here are the details for those who want them. Before buying our house we were told by the home inspector that our system was old and would most likely need to be replaced soon. It was from 2002, so it was on it’s last legs. We called some other companies before Above and Beyond. The average wait time was about three weeks before anyone could even come out. I am so glad they were booked otherwise we would not have discovered this gem of a company.

We called, and they said they would have someone out the NEXT day. Tommy and Dustin showed up and all I can say is they were great. They explained things in laymen’s terms, without dumbing things down. They gave us options from basically putting a band aid on the system, all the way up to what was involved with a new system. There was no pressure to go in either direction. Knowing what we knew of our present system, we decided that it would be more cost effective to go with a new system. I will also say that their prices were very competitive. Today it is rare to find a company that provides low prices with great products and customer service. Usually you get one and not the other. That is definitely not the case here.

They said they could install one the following day. Talk about not having to wait!

The crew showed up the next morning ready to get to work. They did a fantastic job removing the old system and installing the new one. They were hard working, very unobtrusive and quite knowledgeable. When they left, there was not one wrapper, cardboard box, or any other sign that they had been there at all. Most importantly, the new system worked great.

The following day Tommy and Dustin returned to check on the work, do some final tweaks and to make sure that we were happy. Usually once a company has your money, the caring ends there. That is not the case with Above and Beyond.

Had them come out a few months ago to replace the coils in the attic unit. Cost was close to 3k and required removing the ducting. The repair was completed in a timely manner.

Unfortunately, It turns out they did such a poor job on sealing it that ALL of the tape came off at some point and leaked conditioned air into the attic for months. It was caught during a home inspection and cost another $300 to seal up correctly. The second tech told me it was never prepared property for the reseal and that is why the tape and adhesive came off.

Tommy and the team did a great job replacing my ac. I had an old ac that broke on Friday afternoon so they loaned my 3 windows units till they could replace my old ac. They were quick to respond. Communication was great. They were very professional. They did go above and beyond. I highly recommend them. Thanks for everything.

First going to start off with the name of the company fits Tommy and what he is doing for our community. On one of the worst weekends of our lives. Our AC went out the night before my wife was due to have surgery Tommy FaceTime me that evening and tried to help diagnose what was going on (I am vision impaired Legally Blind 😎👨🏻‍🦯 ) With his help. We got it to gratefully work overnight until the next day. Matthew came over and help fix the problem, the compressor gave out and he also checked our Freon and made sure that fuses were not blown on the air handler. I was visiting my elderly friends when AC started to act up and went out! And it was Friday 16th 5 p.m. All calls we made were responding with, may have an opening tomorrow or call back tomorrow. After I'm explaining, the female cannot be without air. She 77 and stage 4 cancer! Husband 84, feeling hopeless and saying, if I was younger, I could fix it? She was already having panic attack over not being able to breath. We couldn't even get San Antonio Air to stay on phone and hear us out. They kept acting like it was a dropped call. They hung up on me twice and the gentleman once. I couldn't believe it, after all, San Antonio Air installed this unit in 2020. We felt hopeless, we thought, until Tommy, from Above and Beyond AC called and text us. They would fit us in. He promised! The guy working on units was on his last job for the night, he also promised he would stop by and check ac. He even cleared/cleaned around area. The elderly couple was so grateful. I live in New Braunfels and could only stick around until the AC tech guy showed up!

Our old AC system broke down in the middle of the night in the August heat. Not only was I able to speak with someone right away, but I was able to schedule a technician for a service call in the morning. Someone came to check the system and give us options. Tom called us and offered window ac units for our family so that we could stay in our home until we chose to either repair or replace our AC. There was no pressure to make a decision. They were extremely kind and concerned that we would be comfortable. It saved us from having to stay overnight in a hotel. Tom even helped us work with the bank to obtain financing options. We purchased a new high efficiency AC system. As promised, Victor and TJ came the very next day to install it. They were competent, respectful and answered all our questions. They cleaned everything up and made sure everything was working properly. We are extremely happy with their excellent customer service, quick response and work. Highly recommend!
