We are selling our house and just needed to change the hardware in the bathrooms; after calling two other plumbers, of which the first gave a ridiculously high quote after we had been loyal customers for years, and the other was not available when I needed him to be, I called my realtor for a recommendation and he referred me to COR.

This phone call was a blessing! I talked with Brenda, introducing myself as a client of their long term associate, who is my realtor, explained to her what I needed done and how quickly I needed it done. She asked me a few questions for clarification about the job and promised to give me a call back within the hour as soon as she could speak with the lead plumber. She called back as promised with a quote that was 1/3 of what the first plumber quoted and had availability first thing the very next day! Two young men came, Jason and his partner (didn't get his name), on time. They were fast, clean, polite, and cleaned up behind themselves! When they were finished, Jason walked me from bathroom to bathroom for inspection and so that I could see for myself there were no leaks or problems. I paid exactly what was quoted (tax was included in the quoted price) and nothing more.

I waited until the day the cold front blew in to ask if someone could come out to fix our fireplace. We’ve lived here for five years without it working. After the big freeze of 2021, we swore we wouldn’t go another winter without it being fixed. Four years later, here we are.

I didn’t expect them to have availability today but figured getting them booked for sometime soon would be sufficient for the next cold front. What luck that Cesar had a team available! They arrived early afternoon, had to go buy a part, and had it fixed and glowing by 3 PM.

Jason and Vicente allowed me to video them turning it on and off since I’ve never had a gas fireplace. Haha!

I had been looking for a plumbing company for a long time that I could trust, and I have finally found one. Brenda and Don at Cor plumbing have been great to work with.

I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to water softeners but after Don came out, I am very confident in my ability to maintain the system. He took the time to explain and break everything down for me and he made sure that I understood it all. Best of all, they can beat anyone's pricing because they care more about their clients' business and not just getting a paycheck.

If anyone is looking for a plumbing company, just give them an opportunity to earn your business. Integrity and honesty is hard to find in a business and I found both with them.

Cor Plumbing was very quick to respond, they came before my appointment time and called to let me know they were en route. I had to purchase a new part last minute and they willingly installed it during the appointment. Very friendly and knowledgeable! I would definitely highly recommend them!

Cor Plumbing was very responsive. Their plumbers who worked on my kitchen sink did excellent work...they were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Would I hire them again or refer them to a friend or neighbor?--Yes, absolutely!

COR Plumbing is always punctual and professional and do a great job with repairs and leave a clean worksite. Really appreciate their quick response and workmanship. Would highly recommend for all your plumbing needs.

Edited to add that Brenda apologized for the lack of training for their apprentices but that’s no excuse as there was a trained plumber watching over their work each time and should have caught it then and there. I also wasn’t charged for the third time they came out (today) but only after the fact this review was posted.

Requested COR come replace toilet we purchased, plumber came 4/3 to replace toilet. Morning of 4/4, noticed a leak behind the toilet and called COR back to have it fixed. They came and charged for the faulty part but not labor the second time around.

Needed a disposal changed out and bought it ourselves, so just needed labor. They came out 4/18, installed it incorrectly and it was leaking within a couple hours. Had to call them back again and plumbers came back on 4/19. Brenda mentioned she told the owners the fact that I’ve used their business twice in the last couple weeks and BOTH times I’ve had to call back with issues of the work being problematic. Didn’t hear anything else of that conversation just that it was mentioned.

Monday 4/22, had to call them yet again because our dishwasher was retaining water Friday night after the disposal had been “fixed” by them for the second time. Quoted up to $200 for this issue. I asked if I could get an invoice sent over like they sent me on 4/18 and was told “Payment is due at the time of service” by Brenda. A little confused on why I would be sent an invoice the week prior, that we paid as soon as it came in, and then be denied by the same office staff this time around? But when I asked the plumber who came to my home he told me the office would be taking care of it.

There’s inconsistencies in communication between the company and what they are telling clients, but I will give them the fact that they were consistent in providing faulty labor and not charging me for them having to come out the second time around. Luckily I work from home because I couldn’t imagine having to take time off of work for this issue that could have been avoided if they were diligent in checking their work.

I gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time around because things happen and parts are sometimes faulty. But the second time was completely unacceptable (as the plumbers who came the second day told me it was not installed or tightened properly) and they created another issue that wasn’t their previous to them working on my home.

Would not recommend to my worst enemy.

Needed to update my review, since I have been blessed to call COR plumbing my plumber for the last 6 years. I recently needed a huge under house plumbing job completed and they not only had absolutly the best price (this kind of job is very expensive) but they did it in one and a half weeks. After all inspections, they completed the job and left my house in great shape they cleaned and put back everything, including redoing a cement walkway. COR plumbing is absoulty outstanding. They are professional, honest, responsive, guarentee their work and just a pleasure to work with. Unless you have a plumber in your family you will be hard pressed to find a better one than Cesar and his team. I cannot recommend COR plumbing enough. They deserve to be considered the premere plumbing company in San Antonio in my opinion. Highly recommend.
