Lynx Roofing did a beautiful job replacing our roof and front gutter after a large, fallen tree limb punched a hole in our roof. They are wonderful people who go above and beyond to make sure you get the very best of service and that the job is done right. They even made sure the insurance company was held accountable for the entire job that needed to be done as opposed to the partial repair that was initially okayed. I would definitely recommend them!

The customer service from Chris, John, and Jonathan was not only successful but also uplifting. LYNX Roofing is extremely knowledgeable regarding standard insurance practice and policy. They helped tremendously with my insurance roof claim. I was a bit confused to find that certain Home insurances have a list of their own contractors of which politically help to decline claims to save insurances their money.

I wanted to hire my own contractor, a reputable company with morals, values, integrity, well known established roofing company in San Antonio, Texas, with impeccable customer service skills, and Lynx roofing proved to be all of that and more.

Roofing Sales Specialist Emmet Flores was very pleasant to work with and he showed up to the job site several times to make sure everything was in order. We choose to go with Lynx roofing after many recommendations from our neighbors. We meet with Emmett on repairs that needed to be done. They had a good price and quick turnaround time. There was a few hiccups but Emmett made sure everything was handled and completed to our satisfaction. We will use them going forward.

Lynx Roofing is an excellent company. I work for a company that owns multiple buildings and Lynx has come to our rescue on more than one occasion. Chris is extremely knowledgeable, positive and a pleasure to work with. He is very honest and not only walks you through the process of the repair but actually teaches you what he's doing. Never once have I felt like I was asking a "dumb question". I can't leave out Cassie, she is always so nice and professional whenever I call, txt or email and responds with a scheduled date and time very quickly. Great experience from beginning to the end! I was given a great price and was walked through the entire process, they even helped coordinate with the insurance to make sure everything was fair and accurate. The whole process took a day to replace the roof and images and aerial view were updated periodically so that I could see the progress, they did a thorough job at keeping everything clean and safe. Lynx Roofing did a great job installing a new roof on my house. I decided to go with them over competitors because they use better materials and installation processes than others. They installed high-quality shingles, removed all prior materials other roofers had previously left in place, and protected the new materials and my house during the installation. They did a great job cleaning up, and my roof looks a lot better now, and has improved durability and ventilation. And installation only took one day.

Really appreciate Emmitt’s help and thoroughness; he is very personable and knowledgeable, and everything we discussed regarding materials and installation was completely accurate. Also really appreciate Jonathan’s work on installation day, he communicated with me constantly and sent numerous photos of the work throughout the process. And Cassie has made working through insurance, HOA requirements, and scheduling as easy as possible.

From start to finish, they were there for us, answering any and all questions we had regarding our claim and our new roof. We recently had our roof and gutters replaced by Lynx Roofing after significant hail damage from a storm in late October/early November, and overall the experience was very positive.

Our home and detached garage both required full roof replacement. The original cementitious hard plank roofing was severely damaged, and because comparable materials are no longer readily available and are very expensive, Lynx helped us evaluate better options. We ultimately upgraded to a Euroshield Class 4 roof made from recycled tires, along with new flashing and vents, and upgraded from 4” gutters to 6” seamless gutters with leaf guards where needed due to nearby trees.

Lynx assisted with inspections and communicated with the insurance company throughout the process. The insurance portion was relatively painless; the most complicated part of the project was working through the escrow process with our mortgage company, which was outside of Lynx’s control and were very patient and understanding of the additional steps and delays it introduced.

Communication from Lynx was consistently strong. We had regular updates, and Chris, the owner, was approachable and a positive presence throughout the project. The roofing crews were outstanding—hard working, professional, and very respectful of the property. They arrived on time, worked efficiently, and made a real effort to keep the mess contained and maintain good housekeeping at the end of each day.

The roofing portion took about two weeks to complete across both buildings, and the finished result looks amazing. The new roof and gutters have completely changed—and significantly improved—the appearance of our home. The performance of the upgraded materials has been excellent so far, and the durability and environmental benefits of the Euroshield system give us a lot of confidence going forward.

The only significant challenge we encountered involved the gutter installation, which was performed by a third party. During installation, there was some confusion about the scope of work and applicable code requirements, particularly regarding downspout placement and gutter pitch on longer runs. At one point, additional downspouts were installed without correcting slope as we expected, and the discussions around what was required by code versus typical installation practices were at times difficult to navigate. In hindsight, having a Lynx representative onsite during the initial walkthrough and coordination with the third party would have helped prevent some of this confusion.

That said, what stood out to me was how the situation was handled. Rather than becoming defensive, both the owner of the gutter company and Chris with Lynx made themselves available, researched the issues, and worked toward an agreeable solution—even when it meant additional work and materials. While this portion of the project was frustrating at times, their willingness to stay engaged and make it right mattered.

There were no unexpected costs, and the overall quality of materials and workmanship makes the project feel like an excellent value. Overall, I would rate Lynx Roofing 4.5 out of 5 stars and would recommend them to homeowners in the Portland / Corpus Christi area looking for a durable roofing system and a contractor who is willing to work through issues professionally.

We were extremely satisfied with Chris and Lynx Roofing. Chris explained the products they use and the process. Our roof replacement was done professionally and in a timely manner. They took care to protect our landscaping and did a great job cleaning up after the job was complete. We never found nails or trash.. We highly recommend Lynx.

Lynx Roofing did an excellent job with my roof replacement, taking great care clean up afterwards and providing guidance with the insurance claim process. When the insurance company denied components of the claim, Lynx immediately provided the insurance company with the documentation needed to approve the payment. Chris and Cassie also facilitated the painting of the trim on my house and the installation of new gutters. I had several roofing companies provide estimates and Lynx was not only competitive on their pricing, but they were the most knowledgeable and professional company to provide me a quote.
