I am very pleased to leave a positive review for Ideal Precision Roofing and in particular Dustin Pozan. I was so impressed from my very first interaction with Dustin when he came out to look over my property and help me decide how to proceed. What I really like about Dustin is his enthusiasm. This man has a ton of energy and he just loves his job. You can tell. He's also a family man and he keeps his family in the forefront of his thoughts. And oh yeah, he certainly knows his craft well! I asked two other roofing companies for quotes too but not only did your company come up with the best price and incentives, but also Dustin did the most thorough inspection out of all three companies. I was especially pleased that he climbed up on the roof of the workshop in my backyard and pointed out things other roofing companies missed. He also mentioned you are a veteran owned company which I like since I am a retired military veteran too. Then the day of the job was a thing of beauty. His crew showed up about 6:25 in the morning and I was ready for them. They obviously have been doing this for a while. They worked very hard and very efficiently non-stop save for a lunch break. They worked until at least 7 p.m. That was a long day for them but I was so impressed with the quality of their work. My yard and driveway were actually cleaner after they left than before they got here! I don't wear shoes, so I really appreciate their attention to detail making sure every little piece of debris and nail was removed. I haven't stepped on anything yet that they left behind! My roof on the house and the workshop looks gorgeous and I couldn't be more pleased. I give my highest recommendation to Ideal Precision Roofing! Thank you! Victor

I had a commendable experience with Ideal Precision Roofing. My Project Manager, Gabe Doss, demonstrated exceptional professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail throughout the project. Although a few aspects of the process did not initially align with what was discussed, the company addressed and resolved each matter promptly and with care.

I also spoke with CFO Bill Dean, who showed the same level of diligence and commitment to ensuring everything was handled correctly. Their leadership and communication gave me confidence in the process from start to finish.

My new GAF Timberline HDZ roof in "Shakewood" has enhanced the appearance of my home, and I’ve already received several compliments from neighbors on the curb appeal. Ideal Precision Roofing delivers quality workmanship, strong customer service, and genuine respect for veterans. I highly recommend them.

A friend referred us to Ideal precision Roofing and Exteriors. We were experiencing a leak inside the home after a storm. We contacted Gabe Doss and he was able to come out and evaluate the roof for us.
We were very appreciative of his ability to fit us in with such short notice, and evaluate the roof in a timely manner. His expertise, professionalism and attention to detail were exceptional. He and his team worked with our GAF warranty representative to coordinate the coverage and repair the damage.

Neither Ideal nor Precise – New Roof Installation 9/11/2025
I recently hired Ideal Precision Roofing for a full roof replacement.
The roof is complete and I paid in full after the job was finished.

Unfortunately, several issues reduced my overall satisfaction:
Scheduling & product change – The installation date shifted from Wednesday to Thursday without much notice.
More importantly, the sales rep. originally planned to use a Cobra ridge vent, but the roof pitch exceeded that product’s specs.
 They switched back to turbines and painted on site. 
Had the pitch been checked earlier, the correct-color turbines could have been ordered.

Installation quality concerns-
• Rain diverters were installed after the main job and ended up too low, mismatched in shape (one square, one curved), and less effective.
• Exhaust jacks: They are not vertical and a few are backwards with exposed rivets that couldn’t be painted. Lowering curb appeal and aesthetics.
• One roof penetration never received storm-guard protection increasing the risk of ice and water penetration.
• Some edge shingles were rough cut (later corrected).

Collateral damage & cleanup –
• Installing plumbing jacks/exhaust caps pulled a bathroom fixture through the sheetrock ceiling. This will cost me extra time and money to have them repaired by someone else. A contract clause states Ideal Precision Roofing bears no responsibility.
• Drip rails were dented in several spots from ladder use and loading.
• The site was left with red drink stains on the carport.

“Roof-top snack break” raised concerns about care for the new roof surface. A neighborhood ice cream truck drove by and the crew had their snacks on the new roof.

Overall, the roof functions, but the attention to detail, product planning, and site management fell short of expectations for a major home investment.

I recommend future customers request advance verification of product suitability and insist on correct-color components when substitutions arise.

My overall grade C-/D+

Will not use them in the future.

We were so impressed with this company! Very rarely have we had or heard of friends who were happy with their contractors. James K. was wonderful to work with and always addressed any concerns that came up. Our roofers were quick, did a beautiful job and cleaned up afterwards. The house painters/siding team was exceptional! After over 13 years in our home, we now smile every time we pull up. Highly recommend this company and their team of workers. Thanks for making our house feel like home again, Precision roofing! 💜

A corner soffit had come disconnected from the roof from water damage due to a clogged gutter. Bison clear the clog, cleaned the the gutter, cleaned debris off the metal carport awning attachted to the gutter, removed, and replaced the soffit. Then reattached the light fixture, caulked and painted the soffit and trim on the facia boards. Wilmer did an excellent job.

I'm very impressed with the level of service provided by Bison during my roof replacement. All aspects of the work were fully explained before starting, and the installation team worked quickly and efficiently. All the debris from the old shingle roof was cleared away and the new metal roof looks amazing. There was close management oversight during the work and a thorough inspection on completion to ensure that I was happy with the installation. I strongly recommend Bison as an excellent company.

Mark, the foreman was awesome. I live next-door to a job they just did and he was very diligent about cleaning up my property leaving it ship shape. Not only that, he fid a hands on and a drone inspection if my own roof and gave me an honest pov re: the state of it along with tons of pics to back up his name inspection. Definitely will use them when my roof needs replacing.

The employees were very helpful and polite. Trevor and Robert came out to do the estimate and even tarped the roof back up afterwards. Communication was good and the prices were very competitive with other companies that we received estimates from.

I had water damage in my office from the recent rain. Bison sent Trevor out who did a thorough examination of the damage. He crawled up into my attic (a very tight and uncomfortable task) as well as on the roof. He was very helpful. Informed me my house should still be under warranty (which it was). Saved me money. I will definitely be reaching out to them after my warranty expires (if needed). Seem like a very good company.

We had our roof replaced almost exactly one year ago. It is beautiful and the install went (mostly*) as expected. However, our roof has leaked in the same spot it was leaking prior to the replacement every time it has rained. The project manager (Marc) is nice and answers when I call but it always takes him several days to come out. This time, I called after the first rain, he arrived after the second rain, didn’t fix the problem, didn’t tarp the leaks despite’s being asked to… and then it rained heavily again the very next day (today). I’m pretty frustrated. I can’t recommend Bison Roofing at this point.

*I was told by the salesperson and the project manager multiple times that they would adjust the pitch of a problem gutter- it’s slanted incorrectly and was causing premature rot in the ceiling area of the patio. We paid extra to have Bison Roofing replace the ceiling and fascia of the patio, which they did, but they did NOT correct the pitch of the gutter so it instantly started causing problems again. When I called to get this corrected (after a rain) I was informed that it wasn’t in the contract so they can’t fix it. I chalked this up to a “live and learn” scenario and decided to let it go- just be careful to get what you desire written up and don’t trust verbal assurances.

This is a professional 1st class operation from the initial fact finding call, to the inspection, to the quote, to the actual work, to a very satisfied finished job!

Sergio Aparicio is he outstanding employee he was diligent about his investigation when it came to roofing. This is due to a bit of water damage on a corner of one room in the house. He went ahead and kept up with his investigation and determined that we need solar vents to stop condensation which was the cause that lead to the small crack. Sergio went ahead and explained payment arrangements and how the process works and when we can go and get started everything was smooth and we appreciate his service and we appreciate Bison Roofing for figuring out our corner room crack dilemma.

Robert was outstanding! He provided throughout survey, and provided recommendations. Although we went with the general construction contractor (due to other construction requirements), I would wholeheartedly recommend Bison Roofing for those that are seeking to repair/replace their home roof.
