Great service from Astro Gen. From quoting process to installation. 4-man crew arrived at the appointment time and quickly, professionally did the install. The cost was very competitive in comparison to others but the key for me was quick install no hassle, no hard sell whatsoever. I am very happy with their service and i recommend Astro Gen to anyone who is considering a whole house backup Generator.

On Tuesday, August 12, I learned that my electric underground conduit connection to Centerpoint had been compromised. After discussing this with the Centerpoint contacts, I was told that I would have to have this repaired. Since my wife and I are Senior citizens, time was important (August in Spring, TX is very hot). I called Green Star Electric and got Jose Pineda on the line at about 4 PM. Jose was at my house a little after 5 PM. He said that he could make some changes in their schedule and do the repairs on Wednesday the 13th. His price was reasonable considering our need, so we set this up. He and one of his crews were here early on Wednesday, and by 8 PM that night we were back on line. This was a very positive experience! Jose was very professional in explaining of what was to be done. His 2 man crew were also the best. They cleaned up area where the work was done. Green Star Electric earned my future electrical business!

I looked at 3 companies who all had great reviews and Green Star Energy gave me the cheapest and most complete quote, and completed the work with great quality while minimizing our power interruption. The communication also was excellent.

I was even able to add upgrade the work done and plan for my future needs. I can now charge a car, plug a generator into my new breaker box, and the box is sized to let me remodel my kitchen in the future.

Mr. Jose Pineda has done several things around our home during and after our remodel. If you can think it, he's done it. From moving and adding plugs along with switches and dimmers, installing under cabinet lighting, installing recessed led wafer ceiling lighting ( my Favorite ), ceiling fans, adding and installing vanity lights, moving and installing bathroom exhaust fans, electrical in the garage, to back porch electrical work. There's not enough room for me to list all the work he's done. Jose is extremely reliable, has excellent work ethic, amazing quality of work, quick and very competitive with his pricing. We have dealt with and received many quotes from contractors and Mr. Pineda and his company have been the best out of all to work with. It's been a pleasure having him in our home. Thx again

Eh, originally had them out to install a soft start on my HVAC within a year it broke but they blamed the storm causing a short circuit. So I told them it doesn't make sense and that's not how it works. In either case I told them I wanted the receipt so I can contact the company for a refund but they never provided one because he blames the old Amazon acct owner no longer works there after I demanded it a few times he just ignored me. They were able to replace my HVAC with another one but now that I'm a little more informed I probably didn't even need a new one, all they should have done was remove the soft start and it would have turned my old HVAC back on

I replaced my circuit box due to my lights flickering- live in older home built in late 1950's. Upon the rcommendation of a neighbor who replaced circuitbox I called Green Star. The technicians could not have been nicer. Very hard working - arrived at 8am and didn't stop until 4:30- I don't think they took a lunch break. They answered all my questions and concerns - I could tell they were highly experienced in their job by the way they explained everything. I will certainly call Green Star again for any future problems in my home.

I wanted the ability to plug my generator into my panel for power outages. Due to the style of panel I had, it needed to be replaced to achieve this. I called Green Star Electric for a quote, Jose came out the next day and went over my options.

Provided me with a quote that day, it was very reasonable - middle of the three quotes I obtained but the only one to offer installatuon of a gas line quick connect as this is not something normally offered by an electrician. I would normally pay several hundred more dollars to a plumber to do, so turning this into a "one-stop-shop" was a great bonus.

Came today (one week later) to install. Showed up 30 minutes early and got right to work. Replaced my panel, installed the generator interlock with plug, and installed the quick-connect to my gas line. After installation he walked me through using the interlock system to switch the panel to the generator, hooking up the gas to the generator, plugging the generator into the panel, and starting the starting the generator to ensure that it was all working. Extremely professional, reasonably priced, knowledgeable about generators and solar panels. Highly recommended.

Installed new outlet for stove and attempted repair of exterior GFI outlet. I opted to not to continue exterior repair at this time due to cost. Technician gave me ideas as to cause of failure and steps that I could take to continue troubleshooting.

Got a quick appointment scheduled for same day service. Originally called for service in kitchen but had other work completed instead.
