Honest company. I initially put out an inquiry on yelp and put down what I was able to self diagnose. They texted me back and worked with my diagnosis and verified if I diagnosed it correctly and gave me some pointers. I had them come out and Rocky came out and gave a final diagnosis of the issue and laid out the options for me and his recommendations. No pressure at all. He brought up the possibility of trying to replace the coils themselves (they were leaking) which is most likely the cheapest option. They also contacted the manufacturer for me to check for warranty.

Price wise, for the options seemed to be a little higher than average but I know during summer time, all hvac companies are charging more so not a knock on them.

All in all, I would not hesitate on calling them again (waiting for my builder to reply to see if there is anything they can do the get the warranty since they said they offered 10 year parts and labor warranty)

Red Star has been to.my house 4 times in 6 months and the problem is still not fixed. I can't get the assigned technician here. They keep sending people unfamiliar with the system. When they leave without correcting the problem, they say the assigned technician will contact me, but I hear nothing until.i follow up.

I highly recommend Red Star Heating & Cooling . I give this company and A+ rating for prompt service, expert skills, and courtesy to the customer. Jose’ was here to diagnose my air conditioning problem and Cristin and Louis were the techs to replace my unit. Jose’ returned when the technicians were through installing my unit to double check and make sure everything was running accurately. He has since called twice to follow up to make sure I was happy and comfortable with my new unit. This has all taken place within a two day period. If you are looking for a company with integrity and expert service, Red Star Heating & Cooling is the company to call.

Called & reported a driver , that was driving reckless & was on the phone , he almost hit me , I had my infant in the car with me , told the receptionist she never got back with me smh please watch out

We needed someone to service our AC unit. The guy came, looked at our system and told us it needed to be serviced then charged $75. So nothing was done and he told us what we already knew. He didn’t clean up after himself and left the breaker off so our house got nice and toasty before we realized. Needless to say, we will be calling someone else to do work for us in the future. Gave 2 stars because my partner said the guy was friendly although spent most of the time trying to upsell.

Red Star gave me a time that they would be coming out and actually they’re technician was just on time, and he was very respectful and very professional. Another crew came out two days later, and finished the job after the diagnosis. And they did a wonderful job. They’re very professional. Very courteous and very friendly. My AC is working. Perfect now. Thank you. Red Star.

Red Star rectified a bad situation left by another contractor. I had gone almost two months with no AC after my brand new Carrier AC system that another company installed failed after only being in use about three months. The company that originally installed it had quit returning calls so I called around for estimates. A couple of the companies I reached out to didn't want to get involved with a system having problems so soon after installation. I ended up getting estimates from two companies. Red Star was not the cheapest but I do think I made the right decision in choosing them. The diagnostic tech Red Star sent out seemed more knowledgeable than the one from the other company and now today I have AC for the first time in seven and a half weeks. I would definitely use Red Star again. They were willing to come out and get it running when other companies wouldn't. I'll also be sure my daughter calls them when she ends up needing a new HVAC system!

This was my first experience with Red Star Cooling & Heating, and I could not have been more pleased. Alvin H. and the Red Star team that came to my house to do a Fall seasonal check of my 3 HVAC systems were very courteous, professional, thorough and on-time. Thank You.

This is a wonderful company to work with. For many reasons I've called them when I have issues and they show up the SAME day even though I'm one hour away from their main office!
They search for the best AC equipment and are always on top of my calls, emails and texts!
I'd definitely call them again! So far they have done numerous jobs for my home and Sebastian the manager is on point!

Lee came out today to troubleshoot my a/c issues. We discussed many options available & was very thorough. I havent used Red Star before but now I am very comfortable making them my A/C company because he was so knowledgeable & was able to answer all my questions.

Jose Rodriguez, was our technician. He was professional, friendly, and answered all of our many questions. He knew what the problem was right away. He fixed our blower motor and inspected our unit. We were very happy with his work and will definitely use them in the future!!

The guys from Red Star showed up within an hour of us calling. They were professional, and had the system diagnosed and pressured up within 2 hours at a very reasonable price. Ill definitely be using them again next time we have issues with our HVAC system.
