Northpoint is always punctual and takes such good care Of the customer. I have been a satisfied customer for over 30 years. I wouldn't dream of using any other AC firm.

Service rep was amazing. Fast work, quick diagnoses of problem and very clear explanations. Will definitely call again and hope to set up a service plan.

We had our first experience with this company Fathers Day 2021. They were professional and sent someone out despite it being Sunday and a holiday. They were professional and did a quick repair and we were back up and running.

This year (2022), I noticed our system was making some weird noises and wasn’t cooling consistently. I couldn’t remember who we used before, and went with the company that could get someone out the quickest. HVAC Hero’s came and did a diagnostic and the cheapest repair they could offer was $3100. I ended up calling North Point for a second opinion. They sent someone out that day. He was very kind and sat down and went over our options. He asked if the other company told us that our unit was still under warranty.. they did not. He also pointed out that the other company said we would need 9.5 lbs of refrigerant but our unit only holds 6.3.

We ended up scheduling our compressor to be replaced by North Point. The tech that did the installation was unprofessional and damaged our unit. He didn’t seem interested in all at remedying the issue. I called the office and the staff was immediately apologetic and insisted they would make the situation “right.”

Within an hour they sent out a truck with the lead tech, service manager and owner of the company.
They repaired the damage, were extremely apologetic, and knocked a significant amount off of the original repair invoice. Pre damage discount, the repair still saved us $700 going with North Point.

I really don’t think you can ask for much more from a company. They will have our business for the rest of the time we live within servicing area. Extremely responsive. Reasonable prices. Honest. Great customer service. Over all stand up business!

Excellent customer service, and prompt response even during all the outage with Beryl. I called and they were here within within an hour or so all the way from Anderson TX to cypress!! Hands down amazing service!!

The service was fine.

However, the prices for the recommended UV lights and the cabinet filter are astronomically high at a combined price of around $800.

North Point techs have the temerity to suggest that the cabinet filter be changed every three months. When I first purchased this system, I was told that the filter would need replacing at 1+ years.

This is supposed to be a hypoallergenic filtration system, however, I sneeze no less than when I used the store bought filters on my old ac unit. The cost has become so prohibitive that I am considering removing the filtration system.

Also, a capacitor that I purchased 2 years ago to compensate for surge start up with a generator was replaced this last spring, and I do not even know if it was properly rated for use with a home generator during power outages.

I have had other issues with the air conditioning. The compressor burned out just after having the air conditioner for one year. It cost me $500 in labor to have it replaced.

Then during the first year, I had 3 fuses burn out just after having the unit for only 5 months.

North Point is run by friendly people, but the air conditioning unit has certainly had its drawbacks.

I live in a condo and there was difficultly with the owner below me, however, the Sales Rep., Bryan handled him like a pro, which he was. Bryan was knowledgeable, soft spoken. The techs worked hard to find the leak, which was between his ceiling and my sub-floor. It required we have entry into his space. The North Point owner came today to make sure, the task was completed, I was taken care of and all went well. THANK YOU North Point!!! You went above and beyond to assist me!!!

Our A/C had a fault and quit running at noon on a 100 degree day. North Point had someone out and had it fixed within 3 hours. They’ll be my first call for my home and businesses going forward. Top notch.

We came home to our ac not working and they wasted no time coming out to fix it! Brayden was so helpful and professional. He diagnosed it and fixed it very quickly!!

They declared my situation an emergency and I had someone checking it in a bit over an hour.

UPDATE 04/04/2025
Needed to call Northpoint out for repair situation. A/C was not blowing cold because of a wifi communication problem with unit. I had hit the unit outside with my riding mower and knocked a wire loose. Robert was my service person and we went down memory lane of all the issues we had with installation. (top of the line unit/tiny attic to work in) He did a quick check to make sure everything else was good to go before he left. Good people, good company!

Review Pending due to continued issues with getting a/c to run more than just short periods. Too many service calls. My life disrupted. Houston heat and my being 76 years old is not safe. No service today as they are short staffed according to dispatch.

We have only had good experiences with North Point Air Conditioning and Heating. Today, Rob came out to service our unit. He was kind and conscientious. He also took time to explain things about it our unit to help us care for it better.

Robert was perfect! Very honest. We have had our share of dishonest contractors so it was great finding integrity in this world. We will definitely refer them out to friends and family and use them moving forward. EXCELLENT job. Thank you.

Amazing, after having others look at our units telling me we needed condenser etc. North Point came out said all we needed was freon, nice to have honest people.
We will be using them always!

Also thanks to Rob and Braden for pointing out some old piping that needed replacing and taking care of it right away.

Robert was very knowledgeable of our AC equipment. Besides checking the heating system and verifying that it was safe to use this season, he identified a problem with the case panel mounting that was allowing attic air to be introduced into the ductwork. He was very personable and friendly and I would like him to come again when service is needed.

After making call to North Point, service was at my home in about 1.5 hours. Quick diagnosis, timely repair, fair pricing. What more could you ask for? Definitely will call again when needed.

We’ve used North Point twice now and they are always so quick to respond, friendly, honest and professional! My husband and I were nervous about finding someone we can trust especially in a big city and being told something absolutely crazy by John Moore sent us looking for a second opinion! Thank goodness we came across North Point! They will have our business as long as we own a home in the Houston area!

Robert came to check our furnace and thermostat. He was very pleasant and we appreciated having him in our home. He explained issues so we could understand what was happening. He completed the work and we were very pleased when he left. You can be proud that he is your employee

It's Saturday night on Labor Day weekend and our upstairs AC unit stopped working. Called North Point Air hoping they were working this holiday weekend. Sure enough, Rob called and then came out Sunday morning. I really appreciate how responsive they are to their customers. Great company to have at your back.

Austin and his team did a great job. They were courteous, efficient and prompt. We knew our air conditioner needed to be replaced and Austin checked in on us while we were waiting for funds. He made sure my family and pets were taken care of. I have been very happy with North Point HVAC and will recommend them. The entire team was easy to work with and the whole process was painless.
