State Cool A/C has come through for me more than once. They have even showed up on a Sunday without charging me an arm and leg. Every time I use them they have been prompt, consistent, flexible, and have treated me fairly. I am happy to continue to do business with them. Repairing or replacing one of your home’s major appliances can be overwhelming but it was effortless with State Cool A/C.

Amazing service! Called and had a tech here within 30 minutes. Brandon knew his stuff. He even showed me where the previous company had installed the component in a way that made it fail sooner. GREAT OLD SCHOOL SERVICE COMPANY.

Brandon was great he took the time to check all aspects of our unit to determine why the house was not cool. He discovered we needed a new thermostat. He assisted in what type to order and was here the next day to install it.

Recently had my first experience with Cold Front A/C. I must say the service was excellent. Tim spent a great deal of time checking out the furnaces; probably more time then my last a/c company did cumulatively over the last 3 years. Found Tim to be extremely knowledgeable. He shared much information about my system. Signed up for his maintenance program as well as requesting a quote to change out a leaking evaporator coil. Quote was emailed the same day and the price is fair. Very impressed

Cold Front is the best AC company I have ever used. They are honest, polite and know what they are doing. They came out to fix a problem that another AC company didn’t. I can’t say enough good stuff about them. I would recommend them to anyone.

Cold Front has always been our A/C company since 2020. They have done an outstanding job with little the things to Big things like installing the new unit, when ours finally gave out in this heat. This is how a business should be. I was recommended to them by a neighbor. They did an outstanding job handling the process of replacing our HVAC system. They were friendly, appropriately priced, responsive, and very professional. A few months had gone by and I started noticing an intermittent gas smell that I narrowed down to be coming from the attic and figured I would give them a call. Even though it had been a few months since the install they set up a service ticket immediately and came out to check on the system. The technician was able to identify the source of the issue, showed it to me, and fixed the issue. This confirmed further to me that they stand behind their business and customer service. I had a new Furnace and HVAC equipment installed by Tim Alt
and his team. I've been in my home for nineteen years and did not want to risk the system going out, especially since the furnace was becoming a challenge in getting it started. Brandon discussed a couple of options with me followed by a written proposal and thereafter, I made the decision to move forward with the install before the price of equipment increases in 2025.

The workers were on time and worked non-stop. They did a great job of preparing the area before they started and were also very respectful of my property.

The installation was flawless and I am very pleased that I made the decision to get this done. Now, I can relax and not have to worry about the furnace going out.

I have been a customer of Cold Front A/C of The Woodlands for 5+ years and they do not disappoint, no matter what size job you have.

We were recently quoted $8,000 by another company who claimed our condenser was not repairable. Jackson came out and fixed it within 5 minutes and made sure the system was working fine. He was professional, friendly, and most importantly honest. Highly recommend!

AC unit stopped working. 3 different companies said they couldn’t fix it and the entire system, wires and ducts needed to be replaced. Would be $15,000-$20,000. Ugh.

Called Cold Front as a last ditch effort and SO GLAD I DID. Came out next day, the tech said he could fix it and have it running today. Turns out the issue was a burned up coil and wire that needed to be replaced.

1 hour and $139 later, AC is back up and running. Cold Front will be the only company I call for ANY AND ALL AC needs going forward!

Needed to have my upstairs AC system replaced. Contacted the office at 4pm, by the time they closed at 5 pm, I had a quote, several phone calls explaining the details of the quote and the installation scheduled for the next day.

Amazing work ethic and absolutely wonderful service. Amy was wonderful and so professional and kind on the phone. She understood the urgency of our situation and scheduled us immediately. We received email and text confirmation of the appointment and then email and text confirmation when they where on their way. Tim and the other employees showed up at my parents home to diagnose and repair the system and were just incredible. They explained everything they were doing and gave tips for how to address common situations moving forward. Tim's knowledge, customer service and compassion was amazing. Wow! I can't begin to say enough nice things about this company. He arrived promptly after my call. The service provided by Tim was amazing. He is by far the most honest and fair AC company. Not only did he fix the urgent issue but was able to fix an ongoing issue I had that other companies claimed couldn't be fixed without a new unit. My entire family finally got a good nights sleep! His pricing is beyond reasonable and he explained different options. ALL of which were affordable. By far the best service around!

I have to add to what I've said in the past!! Amy is a miracle worker. We had a party for 20 in 5 hours, my ac unit started freezing over that day. I called and they had someone out in under 2 hours. She made it happen! We love this family owned company. They do business the way it should be!!!

Nice and honest local business. They are also very quick to response. Our AC did not produce cold air . Brandon came in and within 10 minutes, he located the problem and fixed that quickly onsite. What a relief. We thought I was going to be something big that we had to replace and spent a fortune. Highly recommended.
