I emailed them regarding servicing my water heater but, got no reply. So I decided to call them a couple of days later since my home builder recommended them. The lady who answered seemed confused and told me she will have someone call me to give a quote but no one ever reached me. Went with another company since New Tex is a hassle to get through.

If I could give this company zero stars I would, I don’t ever leave reviews but this has been a horrible experience. I am forced to go through this company due to my builder and our warranty. They continuously show up whenever they want to if they show up at all. It took me calling them 20 times and leaving voicemails each time before I required an owner to call me back the first service call. She was very helpful and somebody finally came out and did the work. Although this is true the technician that showed up, showed up smelling of BO and cigarettes like nobody’s business (I am an ex smoker I can handle some stink). Every problem within the house that I shared with him was then blamed on some other aspect, city water, the builder etc.
I have had another issue since then and the builder has attempted to send out new Tex. The scheduler who answered the phone, Laurie is incredibly unprofessional and talked over me while I tried to explain the situation several times and when she didn’t want to listen she just put me on hold without a word. They have yet to call me back for a solution and say that they only have one employee who handles everything. WHAT?!?!!
The technician Frank, Gave me a timeframe that worked for him, 8 to 11 in the morning. At 9 o’clock the morning of the appointment I called to confirm and he said he was no longer coming and he had another call to handle. He didn’t even bother to let me know or ask if a change in schedule worked?
If you have a choice, do not use this company! I have no idea how they are still in business.

My builder installed my tub incorrectly in my new build. Leaked downstairs into my pantry. When I called to get everything repaired they said they would come out. They canceled and rescheduled. The second time they told me I had an 8-12pm window. I took off of work again and waited. I called them at 12pm and they said they’d call me back but didn’t. 2pm, I called again. They said they’ll call the technician. So I missed another full day of work. When I called the next day to speak to the owner the receptionist was so unprofessional. She clearly didn’t want to hear me speak so put me on hold (instead of hanging up on me), which I guess is nice (ha!). I would avoid this company. I had to get legal council in order to get them to make any moves. The owner was nice but he needs to rethink who he has managing his company and answering the phones.

These guys are absolute rockstars. I've had service for repairs and a water softener installation. Friendly and informative; these guys know what they're doing.

Exceptional Service from Andrew and Frank at New Tex Plumbing. Our tenant reported the hot water heater was not working. Big Tex was busy with multiple calls, but nonetheless came out immediately to diagnose/fix the problem. I highly recommend New Tex Plumbing.

Fast and friendly service from John with New Tex. We lost our hot water, and he helped talk me through it on the phone. The next day he came by and fixed my problem in a matter of minutes. I was very grateful for him taking time out of his busy schedule around the Houston area to help us out up here in New Caney. Definitely recommend and glad we have New Tex around!!
