Recently, my 7-year old dryer stopped functioning correctly. A day or two later, I contacted W.H. to see when they could send someone out to help me out. Ricardo was able to squeeze me in the same day I called him. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He took care of my issue within the hour. Now I don’t have to wear wet clothes anymore 🙂! W.H. will be my first call going forward for any appliance issue that may pop up.

W.H. Appliance Repair repaired our GE built-in microwave. Much to my surprise, Jesse came on Saturday and quickly assessed the problem. He ordered the part and installed it the following week. Jesse was a pleasure to work with as he gave us a service window that he honored. His friendly personality makes him a good ambassador for WHAR. We will call them if we have another repair need.

UPDATE DEC2021 - I raised the rating of this company to 3***. Although they could not help me this time, they DID refund me the full amount of the service. I really appreciate their attention to my comments.

I do not recommend using this company for appliance repair. During initial visit they tried a few things to get the ice maker to work and then advised I needed a new one. After more than a week and a few phone calls, they finally came back to my house and installed the new one. Tech said the new ice maker would begin making ice within 3 days. When this did not occur, I called the company. A different tech came back and did something with the chute flap - said I would have ice in a few days. I never did. $500 wasted but I did not want them back in my home.

We have used West Houston Appliance Repair several times over the last couple of years. We used them today to repair our fridge after the power and water outages during this week’s freeze. Luis was very efficient and on time. He really knows his stuff and made all the repairs. We highly recommend this company.

The refrigerator in our garage apartment was not cooling properly. Luis Castro, the technician came promptly, looked at it, and determined the only problem was the settings on the thermostats in the refrigerator and freezer were not set properly to allow both to defrost properly. Naturally, we were relieved that seemed to be the only problem and that it was nothing more serious.
He quickly reset both and the refrigerator and freezer should now be functioning properly. We appreciated his explanation to my wife and was most courteous and polite. We hope we don't need them anytime again but surely will call them if we need their services.

I call this company because they were posted on LG technician, I believe they were pro, I was wrong. This company clearly those not what there doing they are full of lies, Ricardo came out to my property 2 times to “repair” my fridge and he never got it to work. Poor al customer service with the person that answers the calls can never find anything. He came out to change parts open fridge only for him to charge LG in addition he charge me on top of what he charge LG. I spoke to LG why I was charge they said I should not been charge as my unit it’s in warranty and was not repair. This guy is a subcontractor looking after him self only. I working with LG now to remove this guy from his website as he is coming out to customers and taking there money. I have called numerous times to get receipt. I had and LG REALLY CERTIFIED to fix and he got it repair in 6 hours to fix what he did. Not like Ricardo 2 days and other then repair he mess up more than what he did. I HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

We were very pleased and relieved at the prompt and excellent service. Ricardo was polite and professional in helping expedite a much needed service call and Louis the technician did an excellent job.
We’ve already used them again for a different appliance.

Ricardo did a great job with our dryer repair. He’s very professional and I knew exactly what it was going to cost before he started working. We will always use him for any appliance repair and highly recommend him to others.

Scheduling service for our Samsung refrigerator was remarkably easy and when an unexpected medical issue arose requiring me to cancel the appointment Mr. Soto was genuinely concerned for my well-being. Once I was able to reschedule the service call Raul gave me a call prior to his arrival to let me know he was on the way. Raul listened to my description of the problem and quickly did a couple of diagnostic tests to identify the source of the problem. At each step Raul described what he was doing and why. He found the problem which was a defective part. With my approval he ordered a replacement part and stated he would return once the part was received. Raul returned a few days later and installed the required part in just minutes. My fridge is now working just as it should. I could not be more pleased with Raul and W.H. Appliance Repair. I highly recommend them for any appliance repair issues you may have.

Ricardo returned my call immediately and made an appointment for the following day - Saturday - to repair our refrigerator. He was on time, professional, and actually knew that a known issue with our appliance resulted in an extended manufacturer’s warranty would cover the primary part and his labor. Many repair companies may have charged us for the entire repair and pocketed the difference but Ricardo
was completely honest about this.
I have definitely found my new “go to” for appliance repair and encourage anyone looking for knowledgable repair at a fair price to call WH Appliance Repair.

Even though it was the technician's day off and a Saturday, Ricardo asked Luis to come and help us with our refrigerator (which was not cooling). Not only did he come on time, but he repaired the thermostat and was incredibly polite, professional and just a wonderful person. This is our second experience with this business - the one prior was in 2019.I highly recommend them!

Requested work for a switch replacement to dispense water from my LG fridge. Ricardo showed up gave an estimate for repair and said he had to order the $10 part. I paid the deposit for service and he said as soon as the part arrives he will send another tech to do the repair and we agreed to a payment of $251. Two, yes 2, techs showed up to do the repair and said Ricardo did not order the correct parts for job. They were hesitant to continue repair because they would have damaged the panel by removing it. I said it might be best to have Ricardo do the job since he quoted it. Called Ricardo, he answered and said the part that they are about to break is $300 and another $300 to install would we like them to continue. Who in their right mind would agree to a technician damaging something and making you responsible. After having to explain this to him like an adolescent he then says my deposit isnt refundable because the technician showed up although no work was done. I know this review is long but if you like throwing away money this is your best option. Ricardo sucks. His own employees were willing to put there cash together out of their wallet to refund me my $65. Choose wisely. So many other options out there besides this place.

Ricardo was wonderful in making an effort to squeeze us in last minute for our washer repair before the holiday weekend. Even though he was completely booked, he assured to get someone or himself to repair our washer. He was very kind and professional, and will use this company for future repairs. Highly recommend them!

My LG refrigerator compressor went out. I was very sick, so my sister looked for and contacted a licensed LG repairman. Luckily for me, Ricardo Soto showed up. It was early evening and he definitely had not planned on another stop that day. But he was incredibly nice, very accommodating, and most importantly, very knowledgeable and efficient. He had a compressor in his truck and installed it on the spot. He got here at 6:00 pm and left at 7:30 pm. My food was saved because he went the extra mile. Reasonable price, no extra “after hours” charge! Cannot thank him enough! Highly recommend this man. I don’t do Google reviews, so this is an indication of how pleased I am.

Repair service was scheduled the day of my call. The technician was knowledgeable and knew exactly what needed to be replaced. Looked up part and gave a quote for repair and scheduled for next day to complete repair. The price was reasonable and the repair was completed as promised. Friendly and honest they will definitely get my business again when needed.

Ricardo was our technician and he was great. Very professional, kind, and knowledgeable. The company itself was great too--fitting us in last minute for a fridge repair. Ricardo stayed late and finished the job quickly. We are very appreciative of everyone who helped us today!

In 2021 Ricardo came to my house to fix my non-cooling or freezing fridge. He fixed it for a great price all with a smile, good personality and fridge education! Fast forward to 2023 2 years later I had to sift through old emails to find his info but I found him and Raul showed up with the same great customer service and reasonable prices! Thanks Raul and Ricardo.

Update! Ricardo and Team returned to my house after we figured that fridge wasn't working. Keeping in mind I bought this fridge from an auction, so it was already jacked from the start, but the team was patient and got my fridge working at a reasonable cost! Thanks guys!

Raul was amazing. He quickly diagnosed our Samsung dryer
issue. He repaired the dryer in less that 30 Min. a previous repairman indicated we should just buy a new one. The cost was reasonable and prevented us from having to buy a new one.
We will use W.H. for all our future appliance repair .

I had a great experience with this company. Raul was very prompt, patient, and thorough on his explanation of the issues with my refrigerator. He was able to resolve the problem successfully. I will definitely call them in the future for my appliance repair needs.

Ricardo is very professional. This is the second time he’s repaired a problem with my refrigerator. He did such a wonderful job the first time I kept his card. When our ice maker began giving us problems, he came a repaired it. He is very smart. I really enjoy how he talks about what he’s doing. He was able to unclog a line that fills the ice maker. It didn’t require being replaced which would have been close to $500 for parts and labor. Our ice maker is running great and the house call was very reasonable. Very quick, very honest, very smart and very reasonable. Thank you!

This is our second time to call WH appliance repair - our GE oven locked up when trying to use the self clean. Raul fixed the problem in no time! I love this company for their excellent communication from scheduling, to reminders, to updates on arrival time. Both techs have been professional, on time, and clearly communicate the problem and solution.
