Shane came out promptly and on time! Very professional, communicated what the problem was and promptly repaired it! Stayed around to ensure hot water was coming out of the repaired water heater. Shane is knowledgeable and courteous and makes a positive reflection on Janicek Plumbing.

We had a pipe crack in the attic during the February freeze. Even though they were extremely busy and we were not an emergency, it was a quick fix so Janicek’s found a way to fit us in within 24 hours. They had it fixed in less than 30 minutes. Very responsive, professional, and affordable!

Shane came to look at our faucet problem this morning and he was awesome….very kind, professional, and knowledgeable. Another thing that was so nice …is that I called them this morning and they were able to come at 10:30. Very efficient young lady in the office! Now that’s great service! Had a new hot water heater installed and Janicek’s did a wonderful job. Reasonably priced and really nice, knowledgeable employees. Will definitely use them again!

Highly recommend Janicek Plumbing. We received a new water heater install and faucet install. Nick and Shane really know their stuff when it comes to plumbing and made this process easy. They answered any questions my husband and I had as well as kept a clean work area while in our home.

Our home warranty company sent Janicek Plumbing to work on a variety of issues. I reported the issues with the home warranty company on Wednesday night. First thing on Thursday morning I received a call from Janicek’s! They reviewed what they were coming out for and scheduled for the next day. They called and confirmed first thing this morning and even called me to give me status when they were on their way. Every single person I had interaction with at this company was delightful and professional!!! Nick and Lonnie are truly the A Team! They came to my door with masks on and removed their shoes before entering. After I showed them our issues they divided and conquered the work in no time! This is the second time Nick has come to our house and both times we were so impressed by his service. He is extremely knowledgeable, polite and punctual. While we hope we don't need any more repairs anytime soon, we would hope for Nick again if needed. Highly recommend.

I always dread asking for help so close to the holidays and taking people away from their family time; but we had a small leak in our attic and it needed immediate attention. My husband called Janiceks this morning, the day after Thanksgiving, and they responded quickly. Jason came out, found the problem and promptly got us back in working order. He explained everything and showed me pictures of what was wrong. Thank you Janiceks and especially thank you Jason!

Janicek's was very responsive to our plumbing issues. Arrived on time, very professional, answered all the questions we had and completed the work in a timely manner. Nick was amazing - very personable and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend this company to my family and friends!

If you want to get ripped off, then Janicek’s Plumbing is for you! The owner is strictly that, an owner. He is not a Plumber and has no clue about plumbing. All he cares about is $$$$$. I had Janicek’s Plumbing come out a couple of weeks ago and give me an estimate for what we thought was the issue. They advertise the fact that they give free estimates, well that’s a lie. Their plumber was here 30 minutes, screwed a gauge on my hose bib, verified there was a leak and the office charged me $160 because he had to screw a gauge on & $160 was their hourly rate. I had no issue with this as their lead Journeyman, Jason, was honest and straight forward and a pleasure to deal with. I paid the $160 and scheduled Janicek’s plumbing to perform the work. Before they put you in the books, you have to pay half of the invoice up front (probably because they rip people off and were not getting paid). I paid half the invoice and Jason arrived as scheduled. As a former Journeyman Plumber/business owner, I jumped in and lent a hand. After performing some trouble shooting, we concluded that only one water line needed to be replaced versus the three separate lines that were in the original quote. We made the repairs running the new water line through the attic (thanks to me driving to town and buying the fittings needed as they did not have them in their van). Jason was here 4 1/2 hours total. He called the office and explained to Robert (owner) what work was performed and Robert told him what to invoice. Jason presented the invoice to me which reflected a 20% discount off of the original quote. I called and spoke with Robert and explained to him that the invoice seemed extremely high for the time and materials that were involved. I told him that his crew was here 5 hours and the materials used were roughly $110. He reworked the numbers and admitted that they were over charging me on the hours but had to throw in the fact that their $160 hourly rate recently went up to $170 an hour (which happened last week). Robert ended up discounting an additional $500 off of the labor charges from the error they made but insisted on charging me $400 for the materials. I priced the materials we used out at Lowe’s just for grins and they totaled $110. I think a 400% mark up is a little steep and not a good way to earn business.
Don’t get me wrong, Jason, their lead Journeyman knows what he is doing and I can’t say enough good about him. As someone who tries to support local businesses, I expected a more fair service out of a “mom & pop shop”. I can’t imagine how many people they hand their inflated invoices to and they just sign them and write a check because they don’t know better.
All I can say is just be sure to do your homework before considering Janicek’s Plumbing.

The company is under new management and all I can say is how impressed I was. I'm in a small, rural community and it usually takes weeks to get on a plumber's schedule. Janicek Plumbing was able to send someone out the very next morning! Nick was the technician and he was professional, knowledgeable, very informative with what work he was doing and why. It's such a nice change to have a technician that is so thorough in their explanation of what the issue is and what the options for repair are with me being in full agreement about the work that would be done. He fixed everything quickly, did a great job of cleaning up where he had worked, and even showed me how to maintain an old toilet that is prone to running in the middle of the night. I highly recommend this company!

I recently needed to install a smart valve on my house's main water line and received a recommendation from a friend for Janicek's Plumbing. Nick, came and handled the installation for me. He was extremely knowledgeable and did an excellent job. I highly recommend his services.

I am a first time customer and was greeted by two young professional gentlemen who were extremely knowledgeable about their business. I am sorry that I don’t remember their names but they did service at my home on 4-7-25 and it was same day service after other company dropped the ball. I highly recommend Janicek’s Plumbing.
