Such a hard decision to make when making a large purchase like HVAC. After some due diligence we decided to go with Blue Best and I have been very happy with their quality of service. When a customer like myself starts recognizing that they (Blue Best) invest in good people; Casey, Rocky, Riley, Nick, and Semisi it makes you feel good about your decision. The equipment will take time to tell on how it all plays out over the years, but if Blue Best continues to employ techs like the above mentioned then I am confident things will be fine when shit hits the fan. Blue Best is quite literally, the best! Their techs came out same day and explained all our options to us, and gave us their expert opinions. They were efficient in their work, and we were extremely impressed with their experience and knowledge in the field. We will be coming back to Blue Best whenever we need. 10/10 recommend!

Casey and Semisi were prompt, efficient, polite and very friendly. Installed our new furnace and dampers in a day, cleaned everything up, and left us with a fully functioning system for the first time in years. We're very pleased with the job they did. Blue Best also gave us the best bid (price, completeness, name brand equipment). Altogether, highly recommended.

Blue best was a pleasure to work with. Their staff is extremely knowledgeable and made my wife and I feel comfortable from the start. The technicians did a wonderful job and even took the time to answer all of my questions about the install. What I loved is that they send a profile with pictures of the technicians that will be in your home beforehand. 10/10.

Furnace/AC went out right before the Holidays. Blue Best has helped us limp it along but we finally had to replace. So many great interactions along the way from Scott and Kyle who diagnosed the problem, to salesman Marty and then our favorite Casey and Nick who installed and got us back to warm and cozy! Service and knowledge was excellent. We were communicated with every step of the way and in a timely manner. From service to install only took a few days. Would definitely recommend! Female owned, well run local company!

We had Semisi, Britton and Rocky from Blue Best HVAC here all day doing a tankless water heater and heat pump/furnace replacement. They did an amazing job!! They took the time to explain everything to us about how things should run and how to take care of it. They made every effort to keep things clean and cleaned up after it was all done. They were so friendly and yet professional at the same time! We would recommend them to everyone and will continue to use them for all our needs!!

After a very poor experience with another plumber, Shawn and Carson were awesome to work with. I had an idea of what I wanted to do although Shawn advised me to go with a better option that worked out much better. The fact that he didn’t just go with what I wanted encouraged me. They both did an excellent job and my job included trenching the slab. They were professional and very courteous with my house.

We have used Blue Best a few times now for various projects around our two houses. Each time we chose Blue best based not only their pricing but their transparency and customer service.
On the latest project, Riley found extensive damage to our furnace that a tech from another company the day before completely missed. He took the time to explain everything and walk us through his findings.
Marty was the sales rep that came to our house. Over all I felt like he was honest about their products and his recommendations without trying to upsell to much. I will say it was hard to get a word in when I had questions at times though.
Semisi was the installer of our new furnace. He showed up on time and was courteous throughout the installation, explaining anything I had questions about and really went above and beyond to make sure everything was properly installed and looking great. He cleaned up everything very well before leaving.

I would highly recommend using Blue Best. They are honest, have fair pricing, and do a great job!

I will be recommending Blue Best to all my friends, family, and clients! Shawn and Carson did an amazing job on the large project of replacing all the galvanized steel pipes in our home. They were speedy, professional, kind, dog friendly, and did a great job cleaning up. Also, their price was the most competitive of the 3 quotes we got. You can't go wrong with these guys!

To our recollection we have never posted a negative review, but our experience with Blue Best warrants one.

We met with Blue Best late in 2024 to discuss our concern with air temps in our house, specifically temps in our living room and kitchen, which have high ceilings and southern exposure and become uncomfortably hot in summer. We were very clear about our concern, and the salesperson spent hours assessing our home and assured us his proposed system would solve the problem. We accepted the ~$14,000 bid to install a heat pump solution based on that assurance.

By summer 2025, the living room and kitchen were still too hot on most sunny days. Despite many service visits and repeated adjustments (baffles, registers, fan speeds, etc.), the issue was never resolved. Blue Best ultimately stated the system was operating as designed and implied the problem was with our home, not their installation.  In our opinion, Blue Best is very good at selling a solution, but not so good at ensuring that solution meets what the customer needs.

Two independent HVAC contractors opined:
-Our ductwork is in good condition.
-The thermostat, furnace, and compressor Blue Best installed were not properly matched.
-Basic industry-standard load calculations (e.g., Manual J) were apparently not done, which would have shown the system was undersized for our home’s layout, windows, and sun exposure.

Blue Best has declined to remove the system or refund our payment, instead relying on fine print in the contract. We are now pursuing legal options. We have since spent ~$12,000 on a mini-split system from another contractor, which works as intended.

Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Blue Best and would strongly advise others to look elsewhere.

From start to finish, our experience with Blue Best was exceptional. Their team was prompt, professional yet personable, and incredibly knowledgeable. They made the entire process of replacing our old HVAC system simple and stress free.

Initially, Scott came out to perform a basic furnace tune-up. Unfortunately, he determined that our very old, 25+ year system was no longer safe to keep running. Scott provided undeniable evidence, explained our options clearly, offered honest recommendations, and never pressured us. His knowledge and professionalism gave us total confidence in the choice to replace our whole HVAC system.

Then came the “dreaded” salesman, Marty. He was surprisingly amazing! He took the time to explain every option in clear, honest terms, breaking down the differences in systems, efficiency ratings, and long term savings in a way that made sense. There was never any pressure, and we felt that he was genuinely committed to helping us find the best solution, not just the most expensive one. Marty answered my questions, provided clear and transparent pricing with no surprises, and happily gave us lots of discounts and perks! Marty is the only salesman I’ve met who can make you feel good about spending a ton of money!

Then came installation day. Honestly, I did not interact with Kyler very much because he worked outside. But he did a great job with the exterior installation. Rocky worked inside and he made a great impression on me. What really stood out was his attention to detail— he worked on and checked the entire system, made sure everything was calibrated correctly, and he even did the extra work to get our water heater up to code, which was not even part of our agreement. THEN Rocky went way above and beyond when he climbed up on our roof to fix a wind turbine that had recently blown over! Who does that?

I have nothing but positive things to say about Blue Best. They all worked together like a well-oiled machine. As promised, we received our rebates within a couple of weeks. The inspection passed with flying colors. The Heat Pump system and Smart Thermostat that were installed are wonderful. We no longer battle with the extreme temperature shifts in the house. And I absolutely love that the company is 100% women owned. It really comes across in the caliber of employees and service they have provided. We’ll definitely call them again for future maintenance or repairs. Very highly recommend!

Riley at Blue Best was friendly and knowledgeable. I could tell he just wanted to do what was best for us and that was so refreshing. Customers for life!

1/23/26 - Alma, Shawn & Carson did an amazing job for us today! It was an all day project with all the things we requested. They did it quickly and worked together so well. They were all very friendly and kind.

Scott and Kyle were awesome. I was not paying attention and left them sitting outside for a little when they first arrived. Even then, they were both had great attitudes and were patient with all my questions. This in not my first time using Blue Best and I haven't ran into someone I didn't like or trusted.

Rocky and Britton were great! They showed up on time, put down drop clothes, covered their shoes and were very professional and friendly. They were especially good with our dog! Everything works perfectly and the ey tested equipment and helped me get set up on app.

Blue Best did an amazing job installing our water conditioning system and RO for drinking water. The difference in water quality is unbelievable. We’ve never experienced water this good—our skin feels noticeably smoother, and the drinking water is honestly addicting. The taste is incredible, with absolutely no floaters.

Shawn Powell and Carson Powell were fantastic to work with—on time, clean, professional, and great communicators throughout the entire install. Everything was done efficiently and with real attention to detail.

I would recommend Blue Best in a heartbeat. They’ve never let us down, and this experience just reinforced why we trust them.

WOW! These folks are the best — don’t waste your time reading more reviews, just hire them. I’ve dealt with many HVAC and plumbing companies here in the SLC valley, and their service was light-years better than everyone else.

I had a new mini-split system installed. The quote process was easy and straightforward with Dallin. The install team, Rocky and Britton, were professional, extremely clean, and did truly fantastic work on my 100-year-old house. They treated our home as if it were their own and left everything spotless.

I also had my existing furnace serviced by Riley, who went above and beyond to answer all my questions and clearly explain how everything works and he left my furnace cleaner than it’s been in years. Everyone I spoke to at the office was quick to respond and very friendly.

And to top it all off, it’s a women-owned company, which makes supporting them even more awesome! Highly recommend!!!

Shawn is absolutely amazing! I was blown away by his knowledge and expertise of the Hague WaterMax and how quickly he got my water softener back up and running. I was thoroughly impressed by his professionalism and him taking the time to explain everything. This is my first experience with Blue Best and because of Shawn, they have a customer for life!

Update 2/3/2026:
I decided to use BlueBest again for plumbing concerns and again had a fantastic experience. I had a leak in a bathroom faucet and was able to schedule easily in a few days. The technician, Alma, did a full plumbing inspection and found that my main water pressure reducer had also gone bad. He was very honest about what he found in around my house, clearly explained my options and the cost, and then did the requested work in a very timely and professional manner. I seriously recommend BlueBest to all of my friends. :)

I had a great experience with the BlueBest team from start to finish. Marty helped assess my tricky 1890s attic space and located a great solution to help heat/cool the space effectively. Nick and Kyle did a fantastic job installing the unit. They were also very sweet and courteous to my cats (and did not let them crawl into the wall!) Tami was prompt at scheduling and answered all my billing questions. I would absolutely recommend this team!

Rocky, Kyler, Britton, and Riley were phenomenal. Besides being knowledgeable they’re also very cool people. They were efficient and communicative during the entire install process(we got a new heat pump and furnace.) Thank you Dallin for not sitting on my couch for over 2+ hours trying to win me over like some other companies. It was refreshing! Marty, it was also good talking with you- I appreciate the honesty and willingness to answer all my questions. Overall we are so happy! Can’t wait to be warm lol Best of luck to all of you!

My house was remodeled before I bought it, & I’ve slowly had to fix bad wiring, sloppy plumbing, & a furnace install that doubled as a trash bin. When my furnace died, I knew it was time for a full comfort overhaul: whole-home air filtration & humidifier, a gas tankless water heater, water purification, & reverse osmosis for my sink. Utah’s hard water was making me ugly by wrecking my skin & hair, & winter inversion made my asthma miserable.

I spent an entire week getting bids for this big, complex project. Each company had a different take. Lowe’s was professional but the brands they offered didn’t seem like the best value. Costco’s partner, Superior, was the biggest letdown. Didn’t really inspect the system or ask the right questions, & their recommendations felt expensive & disconnected from what my home needed. Western & Larsen were professional w/decent bids. My neighbor had done a major remodel moving her furnace from a crawlspace to the attic, all done by Blue Best. She raved about Nick & his team & told me not to skip a bid from them.

Marty from Blue Best immediately stood out from everyone else & quickly became my favorite. Incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, & kind. My dirt crawlspace isn’t exactly fun to work in, but he went in anyway & took detailed measurements. He noted uninsulated ductwork, poor drainage slope, & even drywall chunks & Tupperware inside the blower compartment-so yes, I had been breathing through construction leftovers for 6 yrs.He designed a new system with a high-efficiency heat pump, 4-inch filter, gas tankless water heater, whole-home purification, &reverse osmosis. He explained rebates &tax credits that make high-efficiency systems cost about the same as mid-range ones. I also loved his honesty about the humidifier-he said adding one in an uninsulated crawlspace could freeze & cause issues, so he advised waiting to see how the new system performs first &we can revisit.Saving me money for other projects.

Blue Best handled everything-permits, rebates, &inspections-made the process seamless. Tami was communicative, organized, & kept me updated with text messages & clear arrival times. What I expected to take a week was finished in just TWO days. Annette has been great too, keeping me updated on permits &inspections.

Day 1 was HVAC installation with Nick, Rocky, & Kasey-the dream team!My neighbor had bragged about Nick’s skill on her attic conversion, &now I understand why. Rocky & Kasey are just as impressive; together they’re three experts balancing each other’s strengths & double-checking every detail. They relocated my AC/heatpump, ran new copper lines, cleaned up years of bad installation work, removed and took away all the old equipment, professionally installed the new systems, & left everything spotless.

Day 2 was R.O. Plumbing & water heater installation with Rocky again, plus Shawn & Alma. The mix of experience was perfect-Shawn clearly leads with decades of expertise, Alma & Rocky worked with precision & teamwork. They removed my old water heater, engineered venting for the new tankless gas system, installed the purification setup, & made sure my reverse osmosis line also feeds my fridge ice maker for clear ice. They worked long hours, stayed positive, & left the space immaculate. And still took the time to walk me through the basics of my systems and what to look out for.

Every person I worked with-Marty, Tami, Nick, Rocky, Kasey, Shawn, Alma, & Annette-was incredibly professional, caring, & clearly proud of their work. They didn’t oversell, rush, or leave a mess. Their employees seem happy & properly supported. My home finally feels evenly heated, the air feels fresh, my skin looks better, & my asthma hasn’t acted up once.If you’re collecting bids, save yourself the time & start w/ Blue Best. Whether your project is simple or complicated like mine, you’ll be in excellent hands.
