Our water heater went out yesterday, and when I called in the afternoon for an appointment for tomorrow, James said he could come today. It turned out to be an easy fix, and he was quick and very polite. And the fact that previous companies have charged me (a female who doesn't know anything about these things) outrageous amounts for similar fixes, this will keep me coming back to James. Thank you!

James saved us a ton of money on a Water Softener. He also did several things for me at no extra charge when we got talking about where the salt tank would be and where the drain was going. He took the time to explain every question we had about water softeners and even took the time to tell us how he envisioned how we could finish the basement. Such a funny guy, he did a great job.

I had the misfortune of a temperamental water heater that I could not re-light and since it was over 12 years old figured I needed a new one. I contacted james on a Friday evening and explained the problem. He showed up on Saturday morning and re-lite the heater in less than 5 min and for no charge, for no charge!

He not only professional installed a new 50 gallon water heater, but he replaced some bad fittings on some previous water line work that had been done wrong and he did it for free. I called Half Price Water Heaters for a water heater replacement. I also had a faulty pressure valve that a different plumber installed 14 months prior. James did a great job installing the water heater, trained the tenant on how to use the water heater, and replaced the pressure valve at a discounted price. What a job, James. You exceeded my expectations!

I have to share my experience with my water heater issues in my South Jordan home. I had a water in the plate under the water a few times and I called 3 companies and described the problem. They all gave me quotes for water heater replacement (they are all very high than what it should be). Anyway, being clueless about what is going on, I was going to hire the one with the lowest quote but he wasn't returning my texts so I wanted to call someone else and picked Half Price Water Heaters. I descibed the problem, and James immmediately diagnosed the problem and told me how I can fix it by buying a tubing piece from home depot for less than $10! And I followed his advice and the problem went away. Feeling so thankful, I wanted to pay for his advice and he politely refused. What can I say? It is not easy to come across with honest contractors these days. Next time I have a water heater problems, I will only call James, no further research is necessary.

I wasn't lucky enough to hire James, as he was on call during an emergency flood (water heater rusted through) and my husband went ahead and contracted another company. I want to say, though, that the price James quoted was hundreds less, and he was so polite and helpful. I would definitely call him first if I ever needed him, and recommend his services to friends.

I called ESCO and they came out and quoted me $1700 to repair my Parents Water Heater and $2900 to replace it. They also wrote on the estimate that this was for a 10 year old Water Hater.
I called Half Price Water Heaters and was quoted less than 1/3 of the price. The owner, James came to the house and within 2 minutes told me the repair would take a $15 part and an hour service fee. He was done in less than an hour. He also showed me on the water heater where it said it was only 6 years old. He was very pleasant to work with and extremely honest. I will recommend him to all of my friends and family in the future.

James is so friendly and professional. Our water heater went out two weeks ago and he came out that same day to replace it. Today we had a small issue with the gas line. We called James again and he came out within a few hours. Even though it was unrelated to his own work he fixed the faulty valve on the spot. I highly recommend his services.

Called James and explained I likely needed a new water heater and wasn't sure about water softener system and how our old one was functioning. He had me take pictures and he pointed out a few things about how our old water heater was originally installed that made me realize it was not doing well and it was old anyway. He put in a high quality water heater, fixed and replaced some plumbing issues and put in a new expansion tank. Then went through and got my water softener working properly and recommended some steps I could take to keep it running well. This was completely an A+ experience from start to finish. James came out to do an estimate for a first time water softener install. I've always wanted a water softener and in just one day I can definitely feel and see the difference! I love it! The install took a few hours along with his drywall guy..Im impressed with the system and the instruction I received. I basically just add salt. The drywall was patched to perfection and I will definitely call James first if I ever have need for any plumbing issues in the future.

On occasion you get lucky and find someone who takes pride in their profession. I had a failed water heater. It failed principally due to poor installation after just six years. James didn't just come in and take charge of the installation of the new water heater. He reviewed modified the venting of my other water heater (I have two) and repaired my water softener connections as a kindness. He improved everything he touched.
James price was almost $1,000.00 cheaper than quoted by the "big" plumbing company. Do yourself a favor, CALL JAMES.

After receiving bids that were "up in the night" we went with James. He arrived preciously on time and said it would take 2 hours. That's exactly what it was. His work was meticulous, and he did an amazing job. You can't go wrong with James.

James is the man! I called him as my water heater was flooding and he instantly walked me thru what to do to immediately stop the flooding over the phone. We talked thru what my options were. He was booked out a few days so he told me what type of water heater I would need and then a price range of what a ‘good deal’ would be and told me to call around. I got two other quotes, one that was 4x the price James quoted me, the other was 2x the price. I ended up waiting the few days for his schedule to be available. He came out and had the new system installed within a couple of hours. He was extremely helpful WAY before there was any money involved. He was the cheapest by far, and he was also the most professional and kind out of anyone I talked to. I cannot speak highly enough about Half Price Water Heaters! His expertise and customer service were next level!

I would recommend James and Half Price Water Heaters to anybody. He gave me some free advice over the phone 2 years ago that bought me some extra life from my heater.
