We worked with Know Before You Dig Locates on a recent fencing project that required a private locate. Grant went above and beyond to help us out! He was extremely knowledgable. I also appreciated that he was prompt, thorough and very honest. He was able to get our locate in immediately so we didn't lose any time on the job. We will definitely call him again.

ABOVE & BEYOND. We had spent a long afternoon searching for a clean out and at 8pm at night, our plumber said we would need a line locator. I immediately searched google for a local line locator & called Know Before You Dig. Grant answered and I provided him the information I was given. He left his dinner table and sacrificed his dessert to come help us locate the line/cleanout. He arrived promptly and pulled out his state of the art equipment and located where the cleanout was buried in minutes. He is extremely kind and knowledgeable. As he was driving away from our house, the cleanout was located in a brief dig! I shared his contact info with all of our friends and neighbors in case they ever need an honest, thorough locator who exceeds all service expectations. Wow, this guy is good! Grant from "Know Before You Dig" came out to my rural property near Decatur to mark buried electrical lines before I started to build a barn at one location and before I dug at another. He marked lines at both locations, and also notified me of the depth of each line. His impressive (truckload) of equipment was top notch, and his rates were below market.
As we chatted for a while, I learned that he has over 35 years of experience not only locating lines, but training other line locators as well.
I would recommend him and his company without reservation.

Wonderful company. Grant (the owner) was great to work with! They were efficient, fast and very professional. I would highly recommend them. We are a non profit that rescues animals and then provides veterinary care and adoption for them.
We also provide equine therapy to disabled veterans and special needs children.
Grant was kind enough to donate half a day of his time to our sanctuary.

Grant was awesome! We are planning to plant a tree and needed help finding our gas line in our backyard. We had called 811 prior to Grant coming to the house. I only needed him to find my gas line but he checked everything for us. We are thankful we did because 811 was up to 18” off in some places. Highly recommend!!!

They dont pay ou to drive their company vehicles to the job. And the pay sucks

Terrible company. Drivers are incompetent. Workers can't direct traffic properly. Road is always worse once they are done with their job then it was before they started

I try getting ahold of the office and I always get forwarded. Business definitely not good if I can never get an answer

Completed some work for SC Edison at my house, were cussing and swearing the whole time, one of them even urinated in a Gatorade bottle in his truck. I told him we have a bathroom hello! Low class and unprofessional in all aspects!

The crew kept me informed as to what was going on each step of the way and how long I would be without electricity, etc. The crew was professional and nice and did an excellent job removing and replacing the concrete area where Edison had to replace the electrical lines. Looks like new....beautiful workmanship on the concrete replacement. Thank you from Tamarisk Street :)

I would like to take the opportunity to say thank you for your crew working on Highline Rd in Tehachapi, CA. These people are some of the safest and most courteous not to mention industrious people I have ever seen. Not one time have i seen any one of them leaning on a shovel, taking an extra minute for break or in any way short cutting thier job.
Having been raised around various types of construction I am awed that this crews safety and cooperation is seen by an outsider as exemplary. They ALL work as a team and it shows. I am sure they do not get praises very often but I hope this gets to them as they are a super team of people. I feel for them when some of the drivers in this area are discourteous toward them doing a very demanding job. Super work, crew keep up your good work.

This is just a review on one of their employees being so impolite, disrespectful and rude.
I’d even try to let him know what he was doing was wrong but he didn’t care and he’d say so. (I don’t care, do whatever you want.) and so that’s what I’m doing. I’d try to call the office but they do not answer the phone.
Employees being part of a business trying to make good reputation for so many years shouldn’t treat anyone like this guy is doing. If he’s a bad person, he for sure is a bad employee. He didn’t even care I was taking him the pics.

Highly recommend, great service fair prices. Will use again.

They are doing some work in my neighborhood, and for some reason, decided to come into my back yard, throw my cinder blocks all over the place, and leave my gate wide open. Then blocked my driveway this morning. 0/10, Im assuming the city hired them but I don't know why
