Every time I work with them, they go above and beyond for customer service! Their work is great for rug cleaning and steam cleaning services. The staff is kind, thoughtful, and professional. They have exceeded my expectations as a customer and were very patient when I was in error and mixed up some things - they still made sure my needs were met and treated me like a VIP! Thank you for great customer service and the level of patience your staff has, especially during these times!

I called on a Friday morning and asked if they could fit my wall to wall cleaning in along with my neighbor's for a late notice appointment for Monday morning. Not only did they fit us in, they arrived right on time. They took measurements, gave me a great estimate and did a wonderful job cleaning 3 rooms, a hallway and a double staircase. The techs were professional and very polite even asking if we had any problem areas that needed special attention. They even commented on how cute our dog is! I would highly recommend Hadeed Carpet Cleaning!

Our entire experience with Hadeed was without a doubt one of the most disappointing experiences we have ever had with any type of home service company. We paid to have a light stain on a fairly new rug cleaned. The first time the rug was returned to us the stain was darker and more pronounced than when it left our home. We paid for an "express" service believing the turnaround time would be shorter. After the rug came back worse than it left we were told by several people within the company that they do not recommend "express" service. Of course no one told us that. After we complained about the condition of the rug they took it back to clean it again. Before they would deliver the rug back to us the second time an extremely rude employee called us, not to schedule a delivery, but to demand payment of more than $300 above what we already paid to get our rug back. After several conversations with purported managers and "senior" staff we agreed to pay the additional amount to get the rug back. When it came back again there was a new soiled area and a new stain. They took the rug back again. Again we had multiple conversations with a number of people none of whom ever gave us a straight answer about what they were doing or when we would get our rug back. We even spoke with Mark Hadeed who could promise noting more than that he would "find out what was going on." He never did. Finally after leaving another message we got a voice mail on a Thursday that the rug would be back the next day. it did not arrive and we got a call that the rug would be back on Saturday between 8 and 10 am. The rug was not back and when we called we were told the rug would arrive between 1 and 3 pm. After complaining again, the rug finally arrived back. The entire process took from May 11 to June 29. In the meantime we were told a number of stories about how our synthetic rug was somehow "temperamental" and all other types of things about how Hadeed wanted to make sure we were satisfied-all of which never happened. The rug is finally back at our home, still soiled and with the new stain. I would warn anyone against using this company for anything.

Very sorry I did not read through the online reviews beforehand! Trusted this company as I grew up and went to school with members of the family. They took a $150 deposit initially for the two rugs which seemed reasonable. They measured the rugs at pick up and provided us with a written estimate for the cleaning - a price was provided for each rug. I received a phone call a few days later that the rugs were cleaned/ready to be returned and that I would be charged an additional 300% of the estimate!!! Discussing with a manager, I was told that the original "estimate" was not really an estimate but just an "add-on" charge for "an extra clean rug". I suppose if you want a "somewhat clean rug" you would need to know to ask for that estimate separately and still expect to pay at least 50% more than competitors.

Overall a good experience, I took my rugs into getting cleaned after calling. I dropped them off after speaking to them on the phone, they measured both rugs, and I was given a %15 discount. After a week they called me back to collect the rugs, the pick up was easy and quick. The rugs came back pretty well cleaned, with some fraying of the underside, generally speaking, they did a great job. I'd recommend them.

BEWARE!! We had valuable Persian carpets affected by a water loss in our home. Hadeed took the carpets, charged $25,800 for restoration. The carpets came back damaged worse than before. Lots of bugs crawled out when opened. They came again and picked them up 2 + years ago. They will not call back or acknowledge us. Currently hiring lawyer to recover our loss. These guys are as shady as they come!!!! Joe Hadeed is a coward and will NEVER get involved. He avoids all contact. Total Third World operation.

They kept our deposit and our rug. We called to have our rugged cleaned. I did give them estimated measurements of 10x12, because the rug was already rolled up and ready to be picked up. I was given a quote and paid a deposit. After they picked up the rug I received a call that they measurements were actually 10x14, and that they type of fabric required a price increase. So the price essentially double (which was more then I even paid for the rug). I asked for a formal quote to be emailed so we could see the entire cost breakdown. However, I did not agree to continue with the cleaning. To be fair, I did delay in my response to the quote due to an extremely busy work and travel schedule. But they ended up cleaning the rug without receiving approval to proceed. At first I thought maybe my husband approved, but to find out that was not the case. They did have another representative reach out and we explained our situation and they agreed to call back with a resolution. The representative also said that they would never return a rug without it being cleaned. They NEVER called back to resolve the issue. So we lost our deposit and our rug. We are currently preparing all our paperwork and phone records to file a formal dispute.

We just had two rugs cleaned, one a silk in need of significant repair. They did just an outstanding job, top notch. Easy to deal with, no surprises, and have already scheduled additional work. Thank you!

Do NOT use them! They ruined an expensive silk Persian carpet I had when I asked them to trim the silk fringe which was 4” inches long and kept tangling. For a $330 cost, my fringe was removed and replaced with a cheap fringe less than an inch long. When I called to complain, they said they would replace it with a cheaper cotton fringe for a new charge of over $300. When I said that was unacceptable, they said they would get back to me. Never happened. They are overpriced and incompetent.

We had a terrific experience with Hadeed Carpet Cleaning! We dropped off our rugs at the Alexandria location after a bad experience with another rug cleaner in the area. Hadeed made our rugs look brand new. Very polite and knowledgeable staff. You might find cheaper cleaners, but you won’t find better!

I sent my 8 x 6 Aubusson carpet to be cleaned. Hadeed washed it then hung it up by one corner to dry. It is wrinkled and no longer rectangular. One edge is curled.

Avoid these guys at all costs. Total scam artists. Was originally quoted $253 for a rug to be cleaned. After cleaning was completed, they called and said that during the cleaning some of the color had bled, and I would be charged an additional $350 to fix it.

After several calls back and forth they “offered” to split that cost with me. Not wanting my rug to be held hostage, I consented.

When I called to pay the balance and have the carpet delivered back to me, my total somehow shot up to over $500, with a special “disinfecting fee” of over $70, which I was told I had singed off on with the drivers (who, despite being very nice and professional, didn’t speak English and tried to upsell me on something they couldn’t quite explain, which I turned down.)

I have yet to receive my carpet after nearly a month.

Be aware!
Gave them my Persian rug for cleaning. When received the base of the rug was discolored. I talked to the first representative and even though she confirmed the discoloring she said it is not their fault.
I called again and asked for a supervisor since the first one would not take my calls anymore. The supervisor said the same thing that they are not responsible for any damages since I signed a contract. Read the fine prints as they have covered themselves!!

Hadeed recently cleaned 3 oriental and 1 contemporary rugs for us and did an excellent job at a fair price. Arranging pickups and deliveries was very easy -- they provided an estimated time window, then called 10-20 minutes before arrival. The team that removes and reinstalls the rugs were efficient and courteous. Would not hesitate to use Hadeed again.

My experience with Omar for area rug cleaning was excellent. After some research, and seeing so many bad reviews for other companies, I decided to try Omar’s rug cleaning. He was quick to respond and communicate throughout the process. It was easy to schedule the free of charge at home rug pick up. And my rugs were cleaned much faster than I thought they would be. But more importantly, Omar was knowledgeable about rugs and provided helpful information about how they would clean them and how I can take care of them going forward. I had three rugs cleaned: an 8 x 10, 4 x 6, and 3 x 6. They all came back in clean and beautiful condition and I knew that my rugs from Afghanistan and Azerbaijan were properly cared for. Apparently the 8 x 10 had over 10 lbs of dust- I could really see the difference after the cleaning! The price is what I expected for the service. Overall, a great experience, good customer service, and would highly recommend.
