You can't get any better than this! While the name sounds expensive, this company is competitively priced and they won't rip you off. They are honest, have professional integrity, and will get the job done in a professional manner. This company is highly responsive, show up on time, and works quickly. The Gentleman Plumber is the best plumbing company I have encountered so far and I have hired a few since living in Alexandria for 21 years. The Gentleman Plumber's master plumber Andy Perkins has a great demeanor and really knows what he is doing. I had a very complicated situation at my house where another plumber from another company had come in and created a lot of problems and did not do the work up to code. Andy came in, quickly identified the issues and promptly remedied all of the problems in less time than I expected and the bill was extremely reasonable, because they work fast. I can't speak highly enough about this company! A diamond in the rough, a real find!!

Recently we had to redirect a waste line in our house in order to open up our first floor for a kitchen renovation. We originally thought that work would end up obstructing one of the only windows in the basement much to our chagrin. HOWEVER, the Gentleman Plumber Team was able to figure out a way to put the pipe in the ceiling and not obstruct the window. We are beyond happy and couldn't wait to share our story with the Google-sphere. This is the 2nd project we have had the company do and once again they hit the ball out of the bark. Thank you, Team!

Gentleman Plumber has been fantastic. The plumbers and the office staff are highly responsive and professional. They recently installed a back flow preventer and came up with several ideas to minimize disruption to my house and keep my costs reasonable. I have to be honest with my review on The Gentleman Plumber. I was able to schedule an appointment quickly and the plumber arrived on time, however, that's where it ended. The plumber was able to fix our toilet, however, the toilet the stopped working days after it was "fixed". I called and scheduled an appointment. The plumber was quick to inform me that this was going to be an additional charge as the second problem was not related to the first problem.

I called and spoke with the supervisor. Rather than being understanding of my situation, he quickly defended the charges and was not willing to work with me on price at all! Finally at the end of the call, he offered to give me $10 off which was 7% of the total bill. In two weeks, I have spent $300 to have my toilet fixed twice.

I sent an email to Harry, the owner in which I still haven't received a response.

It's hard for me to recommend this company based on customer service and ensuring their customers are satisfied.

Leo Bustamante was the guy assigned to my repair job. It wasn’t a small job, the home’s old original cast iron sewage drain stack had developed a large crack and needed to be replaced. The Gentleman Plumber gave a good price compared to other estimates I got, Leo was polite and professional and got the job done.

Little hot water reaching 2nd floor tub shower. Marco quickly analyzed the cause and cleaned the dirty but still serviceable shower cartridge. He was professional, personable and efficient, resolving the problem in a half hour. Another excellent representative of the super service of GP!

As with previous work by The Gentleman Plumber this challenging job was completed perfectly. Finished appearance and function are better than the original installation and, despite issues with existing structure, the installation was done without additional damage so no follow up repairs are required. Highly recommended.
