Maids in Brown have been our cleaners for 4 years and across 2 homes. They have always done an excellent job and we love the little touches they leave behind. We simply do not have time to keep the house as clean as we would like, and they always leave the place sparkling and smelling great. We have a fairly large home and the value is excellent for the price.

We also had Maids in Brown do a deep clean for our last home before we sold it, which is an extra service they provide that I highly recommend. Winta, the owner, and her team are always courteous and professional and have really done right by us!

I cannot say enough good things about the two women who have been cleaning my home from Maids in Brown. They have been coming to my house for years, and the level of care, consistency, and pride they take in their work has never slipped once.

Throughout the week after my move-in, I’ve noticed so many uncleaned areas. I paid for a deep sanitation cleaning and spent an extra $100 for this service, however, nothing seems deep cleaned. Uncleaned areas include the knobs on the stove, the butter tray in the fridge, the seal around the fridge door, kitchen light switches with food debris caked on from the previous owner, cupboards (that I have yet to use and have been empty since move in) with food remanence and splatters, my kitchen blinds (which were in the upright position at the time of cleaning) are filled with dust and food debris when lowered… I’m extremely disappointed with this “deep” clean not being a ms thorough as I was expecting. I keep discovered new uncleaned areas as I unpack and I’m growing increasingly frustrated.

It’s important to note my entire condo was empty at the time of cleaning with the exception of plants I had centered in the middle of the dining room so the crew could clean/work around them. The cleaners finished earlier than their estimated time, and there is so much more they could’ve done with that time... I was in the middle of moving out of my old place, so I couldn’t be home and supervise them, however, looking back, I wish I would’ve.

I don’t have pictures of everything because at first I thought it was just a thing or two missed. A week and a half later, the list is growing and I’m starting to document these things for my review… Pictures include splatter/food in the empty cupboard, food debris on the blinds after I decided to lower them, and what comes off the blinds when I simply wipe them with a wet paper towel. This does not look like a place that was professionally cleaned a week and a half ago…

I am very satisfied with the full move out cleaning from Maids in Brown. First, communication was very straightforward and professional before the booking. Second, they arrived when they said they would, finished the work when they said they would, and cleaned everything they said they would (and then some). Third, they did a fantastic job with the cleaning itself. I inspected my home after they finished and was very impressed with the quality of the clean and the attention to detail. Everything was cleaner than it ever was when I was living in that home and cleaning it myself. I was especially pleasantly surprised at how well certain areas were cleaned (like the insides of my appliances and the insides of the trash/recycling bins). I am a very happy customer!

I hired Maids in Brown in Arlington, VA for a big moving cleaning when I switched apartments, and they did such a great job that I now use them for biweekly cleaning. Their team is always on time, super friendly, and they leave the place looking and smelling fresh every single time. I’ve tried other house cleaning companies before, but this is the only maid service that has been consistent and reliable. Definitely worth it!

WARNING TO CONSUMERS: A Cleaning Service did the cleaning for my home for several years. Most of the time I was satisfied but recently experienced a very alarming situation. The company started sending different people to clean instead of the same crew each time. I had to fire them when I noticed that a very expensive wallet was stolen from my home during the last time the person came to clean. This was not the first time I had to report theft. They previously used my personal cleaning supplies instead of their own and took them when they were done. I do not recommend this company. Beatriz never acknowledges that mistakes or theft are made. She is dishonest and very shady. Her unprofessional and defensive response to this review proves that Beatriz is unwilling to acknowledge and take corrective action for the issue. I have no reason to lie about the fact that her employees have stolen items from my home on more than one occasion while they were cleaning.

I've used this cleaning team for a couple of years now, after a pause in the heat of COVID, but brought them back a few months ago. They wear masks and are in and out with very limited contact, even when my kids and I are in the house these days! I tried another cleaning service a few times and felt I was paying more for lower quality, so came back to this company. They are pretty quick, efficient and leave the house nice and clean.

I’ve been using A Cleaning Service for several years. I am picky and tried several different services in the last 8 years since we moved here. What differentiates this service, is that when I had complaints, they made adjustments. They changed out the team once because the original team wasn’t doing a good job in areas that really mattered to me. With the new team, they have been much better, but if there are times when things are missed, I communicate and they adjust accordingly. They are professional and wear masks and stay socially distant, to keep my family safe.

I contacted A Cleaning Service for a deep clean of my baseboards and bathrooms to be done to look as clean as the day I moved in, and I was not disappointed!

Beatriz (the owner) is absolutely wonderful! Her staff goes beyond the call of duty, I will definitely be using them again and will highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a cleaning service.

A Cleaning Service has been a lifesaver and a great value for us. We are on a biweekly schedule and Racquel always does a wonderful job! The whole condo looks and smells great. The customer service from Cecilia the few times we have called with questions has also always been super prompt and friendly.
