Hired them about a year and a half ago to maintain our lawn and to mow. They consistently performed sub par. Our lawn looks worse now than it did when we hired them. Their favorite customer is one who takes whatever they dish out and does not bother them. Communication to the account manager Mark was awful. He would rarely respond to our questions, he would not address issues we were having, even to verify the day of the week they were coming as we needed to do sometimes. The customer does not matter to these people. Their mowing was hit or miss, they even tried to go over our pool and damaged part of the brick pillars attached to the gate. Had I not stopped him he would have taken down the brick pillars. The other gate without any obstructions was just on the other side of the property clearly visible. That's how dense and not informed they are with the mowing crews. They don't care. The lawn applications were hit or miss. If it rained and the spot treatments were washed out, they did not respond to that either. And they did not coordinated with the mowing schedule for optimum results. For example one would not seed, then come mow in short order. Guess where the seed flies. They are anything but premium needless to say. We did not get a contract renewal and when we inquired well into the season, they ignored us. Only when we called the manager did they bother to tell us, too many issues. So they were not even going to bother to inform us. But why would we expect any less from these people? Don't waste your money on a company who gives the customer the worst treatment possible.

We have used Premium for several years now for our mowing services as well as drainage and tree work.
They are very reliable and I am always happy with the final product. The mowing crew shows up every week and I do not have to worry that my lawn will be overgrown. In addition, the edging gives my yard a professionally groomed look. I highly recommend them.

In September 2012, we spent over $11,000 for hardscape and landscape for our front yard. It included a tree island with a retaining wall and Premium Lawn and Landscape did all the work and chose all the plantings. It looked great when finished, but within less than a year, the wall started to separate and come apart. They came out and fixed it, but it happened again in 2016. They came out and fixed it again, all under their five year warranty. Well, it's been six years since the installation and the wall looks worse than ever! Mark came and inspected the wall on the weekend instead of coming for the scheduled appointment during the week and did not come to the door to discuss. Instead he sent an email with an estimate to fix the wall for $1,000. No explanation as to what he was going to do differently to avoid the wall from coming apart in the future. He has not returned phone calls or emails to discuss. We are repeat customers and have spent nearly $20k with Premium. Beware of this landscape company!

UPDATE: The wall collapsed and we have had other landscapers provide estimates to repair it. All have agreed the wall collapsed due to water not being able to drain (there is no built in drainage and a water barrier was installed that keeps the water in). It's clear from the photos that plant and tree roots were not the reason for the wall collapse. This wall looked great when it was built and should have lasted much longer. The first repair was made 11 months after it was completed. I'm so disappointed and feel ripped off.

From day one, we've loved Premium, especially working with Ritchie! He has been responsive, honest in his consultations, and a pleasure to work with. We recently purchased a house in Dec. 2018 and it needs a TON of yard help, including landscaping, hardscaping, and grass growing/weed prevention. We're doing it in phases, but the amazing crew finished the front yard back in June and we couldn't be happier! They showed up on time, finished the project early, and with the most professionalism and attention to detail. We can't wait to work with Premium (and Ritchie + crew) again for our grass and backyard.

These guys were AMAZING! The came out for an estimate and we quick and efficient about it. They communicated with us throughout every step of our rather extensive project. When designing the landscaping for our backyard, they gave some suggestions, but were happy to hear our input to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. I was happy with them before the work even started. But once they'd finished, oh man it looks awesome! They were also efficient with scheduling and completing all the work. The attention to detail was absolutely phenomenal. I appreciate that they understand that I am not a lawn care/landscaping professional and there's a lot that would never occur to me to ask for. So their professional advice was appreciated and I can't say it enough, everything looks amazing!

Look at these guys. They parked like this right next to a bus stop and kids were almost getting hit because of the blind corner and choke point. I asked them to move and they had zero interest.

Called the office and left a voicemail, and called police non-emergency. Went back out and let them know and suddenly they were more motivated to improve the unsafe situation.

We have used Premium for a number of years for scheduled mowing, lawn maintenance, tree trimming/removal, drainage, masonry work and landscaping services. They are always prompt, professional and leave the work site in great shape when they finish. A number of the crew have been with them for many years - a continuity that is rare in that business. The few times we have had minor issues, most of those when we changed our minds on work to be done, they have been addressed promptly with no push back. We have occasionally used other companies for projects, but mostly turn to Premium for a combination of professionalism, price and responsiveness. Highly recommended.

I had a great lawn until I contracted with Premium. They consistently use riding mowers during rainstorms, tearing out grass and leaving ruts everywhere.

Last fall after the damage they caused in the summer I planted a bunch of grass seed and got things growing pretty well. So of course in December they decided to mulch the remaining leaves during a rain storm, tearing up everything that just started growing.

Their solution was to throw some grass seed on top of my yard in February. The birds have loved the midwinter snack.

The best part is getting a $150 invoice for mulching leaves and killing my grass. I just bought another $250 of grass seed and patch material to repair the damage they did everywhere.

I have been their customer for over 15 yr. The reason for such a low rating is how upset and unhappy I am with their management. This company does lawn care (fertilizer) and sprinkler work. They have done this kind of work for me for so many years.
Couple of weeks ago I had asked them to take a look at my sprinklers as a couple of them were not working properly and they were watering my driveway and walkway instead of the lawn.
So they sent a technician, he spent an hour fixing the sprinklers heads so that they were pointed correctly and he tested it as well. It appeared to work ok. I paid for the hourly cost & parts for $154. Hoping the issue was resolved.
Over the course of that week the sprinklers again started watering my walkway and driveway, so I called them again. So the technician came back again and agreed they were not pointing correctly again. He attributed to the sprinklers being old and they needed to be replaced with new ones. In my opinion he could have recommended that the 1st time he was here. I asked him to take care of it with new sprinkler
While he was testing all the sprinkler zones he pointed out the dry patches on my back lawn to be related to fungus and asked me he wanted me to treat those spots. Which I agreed to. It took him like 5 mins tops to walk up to his truck and spread that treatment to about 100sf of the lawn.
I did mention to him that the sprinkler work became a duplicate cost for me and it’s not fair He asked me to talk to the customer service and see what they can do.
I did call them the same day and explained this to the lady with the company. She promised to look at work done discuss with management and bill accordingly. When I got the bill I was furious. They had again charged me all the labor & parts for $254. Parts I can understand. This bill also included $90 for the fungus treatment.
So I called their office to find out why they did not give me a break for duplicate work atleast on labor for the sprinkler work and for 5 mins of work and fungus Treatment for $90.
I was told they have to account for Technician driving up there and treat the area for fungal I told her he was already here!!, how can you charge me such an outrageous amount for fungal treatment. I checked in Homedepot the cost of a full bag of fungal treatment for like 1000 sf was like $20!! It’s ridiculous.
She did try to explain my case to the management but she was told to keep the bill the same I did inform hee I will take my service else where, where they listen to their customers and understand where they are coming from so they are fair. Companies stay in business if they treat their customers well. I have discontinued my service with them and moved on.
My new service provider informed me the issue in the back lawn was not fungal issue!! it was Grub related. I will try to post the pictures of my lawn after the fungal treatment.
So their technician had mis-diagnosed the patches and I paid $90 for it. Please see the pictures. I will never give Premium my business ever again. Stay away from doing business with them.

Very happy with choosing to use Premium Lawn & Landscape for the work we wanted to have done at our home. They were very responsive and professional in the sales phase, providing everything in quotes as we asked. The work was completed timely and looks great. Very happy with the finished/final project. Would definitely use them again and already referred them to friends who have also moved forward with using Premium.

Great selection but stock can be iffy if checking on the website.

Wonderful variety of herbs. Spearmint, Peppermint, Rosemary, Lavender etc etc.

A couple of things I looked for were not there. So I bought second bests. I was disappointed that the gardening tools were surprisingly limited.

Standard Home Depot. Always busy. Good garden department and cheap home interior plants.

Fantastic selection of plants for your flower garden and veggie garden. Good prices.

They are OK, not among the best home depot garden centers. They seem to be short of space and products compared to the Maryland stores.
