I swear by this store. I've been to this store on 3 different occasions for different reasons bathroom related and they've been extremely helpful and correct on the issue I came in for. Went today and I wish I got his name.
Don't look elsewhere and go to them if you have any issues with bath & kitchen related issues! And if the staff is reading this, THANK YOU FOR BEING SO EFFICIENT & HONEST each and every time.

Went there for advice and parts for an outside faucet repair . I'm just a reasonably ignorant homeowner, but the person helping me was very patient and helpful. For $11 of sales I got $100 worth of advice. I went at about 10 am when i figured there might be fewer pros there. Worked out well. All wore masks and social distance was enforced.

What a place for plumbing parts, large and small!!! A very nice man at the counter helped us buy a radiator bleeder valve (is that what it's called?) and he and my husband had a grand time talking about which one is better, make sure you have the right size, and all sorts of aspects of those things. We bought the last one on the shelf and he ordered more that will come in tomorrow for us and a few extra to have on hand. Parking was plentiful when we came, right at closing so everyone had gone home.

Great service, would definitely shop here again. I'm not a plumber, but I was still treated with respect. They took time to match my part and talk to me about other options (e.g., cheaper workarounds). I ultimately decided to buy the factory part, but I appreciated them taking the time to talk through the options with me.

Went there today as I found them quite knowledgeable and helpful in the past. This time it was for a replacement hose for my shower hand held device.

As it wasn't in their inventory and quite expensive as it was somewhat unique they showed me how I could buy it from Amazon and save $30.

That continues an amazing string of help and will keep me going back.

Extremely poor customer service in their kitchen and bath showroom. It was clear to me the woman on duty didn’t want to be bothered. I have money to spend on bath remodel and will take my business to Ferguson
instead.

Thos. Somerville Co. is an excellent distributor of plumbing, heating and AC supplies in DMV. It took me endless efforts to find o-rings for my leaky vacuum breaker at hardware stores. None of them worked. Finally I used Google to search plumbing suppliers. Staff of Thos. Somerville let me buy Watts vac breaker instead of o-rings, and made sure I knew how to install it. It took me 5 minutes and 25 dollars to resolve my longtime headache. The company with superb expertise and friendly service is highly appreciated and strongly recommended.

It’s interesting to learn that the company was established in 1861 - one of the oldest in DMV!

Jose and Nathan fixed our leak and made sure that there were no more potential problems before they left our house. They also took precautions to keep any messes to a minimum and completely cleaned up the debris. They are courteous and professional and we are very happy with the service Anderson Plumbing provided us!

Couldn’t recommend more highly. We called them one morning after having an urgent plumbing issue that other plumbers couldn’t solve. They arrived promptly the same day and Jose and Dublas worked tirelessly to get our issue fixed in a couple of hours. They were incredibly kind, communicative, and professional from start to finish. Fantastic experience. On 8/21/24 I discovered water pooling in my basement. I was in hot water (literally, because my hot water heater was leaking). My wife quickly assembled all neighborhood recommendations, but it was 7pm and quite frankly, I thought we were in for a bit of a wait. I couldn't turn the valves to the unit so all the water had to be cut off. Mike from Anderson called me back after I left a message, and even referenced the stress in my voice asking if he should come out immediately. I explained the situation, provided some pictures, he knew he wouldn't be able to get a new unit that day, but set me up for 8am on 8/22. Ben Anderson and his helper were ready even earlier and got the job done fast. This wasn't easy in our little 1950s Sears kit house, not exactly a great operating area. From beginning to end, they were polite, explained everything so even I could understand, and fast. The price was reasonable (comparatively to various googlings) which was great considering how rushed we needed help. If you're in a jam, contact Anderson Plumbing!

I have used Anderson Plumbing twice - once for a leaky toilet and once for an exterior drain. Ben, Dublas and Jose are fantastic, and I highly recommend them. Their prices are fair and their work is excellent. As an added bonus, they are really nice people.

Our regular plumber was unavailable but recommended Ben. He fit us in quickly - two broken toilets demanded quick action - and did an excellent job. He was up front about options and costs. Work was performed quickly and competently. He suggested a different replacement toilet than I had in mind, and his recommendation turned out to be excellent. Highly recommended.

Ben successfully resolved a long standing issue of a toilet leaking at its base which had been resistant to previous solutions. Not only identified the issue quickly but went the extra mile to creatively come up with a solution and do the detailed work needed to fix it. Courteous, reliable, efficient, all at a reasonable price! Highly recommend!
