I'm giving Trademasters five stars thanks to the five-star service we received. We recently had our ancient (and dead) HVAC unit replaced by this company and the quality of work was excellent! Also, the staff worked with a high level of professionalism.

From our initial estimate meeting with Shane, I was very comfortable with his knowledge and was confident that they could do the job, which wasn't and easy one due to the age of our previous unit and the orientation of it. Shane gave a competitive quote and we decided on Trademasters largely due to his understanding of the situation and his experience.

The staff worked from 7 am to 4 pm. It was an all-day job, but they got the work done earlier than previously estimated. Safety precautions were definitely taken and the technicians kept their masks on for the duration of the work, which alleviated any concerns. Once that air conditioning kicked it, relief was granted! Payment was easy as well and the office staff did a great job coordinating everything.

What a good experience this was! Shane was responsive, clear, and prompt. The installation crew was friendly, efficient, and very easy to talk to. They seemed proud of their work and eager to explain it. They worked for 6.5 hours without a break and cleaned up well. We went from initial inquiry to system installed in about 10 days and had it not been for our schedule, it could have been sooner.

The people at Trademasters came to install a new AC unit after the old one didn't produce any cold air anymore. They were professional, well mannered, and kept me informed about what they were doing. One thing that impressed me was a master HVAC person overseeing the entire operation. This gave me piece of mind that the job was being done correctly. Finally, their prices were several hundred dollars less than their competitors. I am very happy with my new AC unit and will be using them for all of my future AC needs

Trademasters is one of the best companies I have ever dealt with when it came to HVAC installation. Their staff is great, highly responsive and straightforward when it comes to what your house needs. I needed a new AC and furnace installed at my house and from the time that Shane came out to give me the estimate, everything was ordered and installed within roughly a week. They go over everything with you and make sure that you understand how each component works. Great company.

I call Trademasters for everything to do with heating, air conditioning and plumbing. They installed my hot water heater and Ben, Pedro and Tyler were very professional, friendly and informative. I've had various technicians service my A/C and heat. They check up after the appointment to make sure I'm still good and satisfied. The schedulers are super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Trademasters for all A/C, heating and plumbing needs!!

Why Choose Trademasters?? My (26) year old furnace needed to be serviced, so after positive reviews I called Trademasters Service, Lorton, VA. From the first call to the office to schedule an appointment, I spoke with Jamie who was a pleasure to speak to. Gabriel came the same week to service my furnace. He was pleasant and knowledgeable about his review and explained everything to me. Once I made a decision to replace the furnace, Shane came within days to discuss replacement unit. I chose a Trane Furnace. Shane explained the different features with the units. He did not try to upsell and not pushy. Very knowledgeable. The Furnace replacement was installed by Technicians, Abisai and Erick. They worked efficiently, explained process and cleaned up afterwards. After installation, Trademasters scheduled an “installation checkup” with Ben, Quality Control Manager; checks unit is working to its full capacity and to do any tweaking if necessary and answer questions. I was impressed with this followup service. I highly recommend Trademasters service. They definitely earn a 5-star rating.

Very happy with the team at Trademasters. My HVAC went out during the middle of a heat wave, and they were all super helpful, knowledgeable and fast from beginning to end in installing a new system. A few people in my building recommended Trademasters to me, and I would definitely recommend them to others too!

Of course our AC died on the hottest day of the year. Trademasters got a technician out the same day. Bad news ... needed a new outdoor unit. It took a couple of days to get the unit installed, but I'm a very happy repeat Trademasters customer. They show up when they say the will, do the work they promise, at a very good price. Plus they are really nice folks to work with. I HIGHLY recommend them for all your HVAC needs.

I was absolutely satisfied with Trademasters installation of our split system Daikin unit from start to finish. The sales rep responded to my call promptly, came to review the job, and reviewed the project thoroughly. Installation was very smooth and the techs were very professional and courteous. Good clean up as well. I would definitely recommend the company.

We’ve been going to Trademasters for biannual service since the mid 1990’s. They’ve always been professional and extremely responsive. When the original HVAC unit required replacement in 2006 we contacted and received quotes form a couple of HVAC firms including Trademasters. Trademasters offered a host of options for the replacement system keeping within our budget at the time. The replacement effort was efficient and professional spending time to provide instructions. A really nice, conscientious installation team. More recently, after 18 years our system began to show a refrigerant pressure loss (the R-22 refrigerant has long been discontinued) and other symptoms of pending trouble. We went back to Trademasters. HVAC technology has greatly expanded and again Trademasters explained in detail a wide range of systems options to respond to our current needs. Current systems are far more flexible and responsive while still being energy conservative. Again, the replacement was efficient and professional spending time to walk through system operation and thermostat control options. The installation team was more like family showing patience and care insuring we thoroughly understood.

I have been using Trademasters for several years to do my HVAC maintenance and a condominium required furnace inspection. They have been very upfront about any repairs that have been required and don't automatically push replacing your system. They have always timely when you make an appointment. To flush this out a bit more, I had them replace my entire system because I wanted an up to date and more efficient system. The crew that did the installation was knowledgeable and professional and did a very neat job. Unfortunately the new compressor had a leak because of faulty manufacture. But when there are problems this is when a company shows its true colors. Jamie got right on it to get a replacement compressor delivered and they sent a crew out the next week to install it. Again the second crew was professional and did exceptional work. I would not hesitate to recommend their services to anyone who cares to ask.

I've had a number of things done at my home in the past month and Trademasters has been a great partner in ensuring that everything is done right. Sandy, Ashley and everyone in the scheduling team has been great in ensuring that the appointments are scheduled right away, including last minute scheduling changes. The HVAC staff who came in to fix my A/C unit is very knowledgeable. The work was done right away.

Edward, the plumber who came in to help replace my toilet and sink faucet is especially notable. He is very professional, knowledgeable, and patient. Everything about Edward's work was exceptional. He made sure to wear shoe floor protectors and kept the work area clean. He provided great advice on replacement toilets and provided us with options on how we would like to proceed with the work. He was very transparent and provided us with before and after photos of the work.

Edward is very customer-oriented and made sure that the job is done even when the toilet that we ordered online arrived cracked. He helped us pick a replacement toilet at Home Depot even though it meant that his work day will be longer. He provided us with advice on how to prolong the life of the fixtures that were installed. We'll make sure to ask for Edward if we need additional work to be done in the future.

Trademasters is also very transparent about the pricing. The cost is reasonable and actually lower than the other contractors I've worked with in the past. In my experience, having the service plan has been great and helped lower the total cost of the work that was done.

My 19 yo AC chose the least convenient time to go out. Remember the record setting heat we had in July? They sent a repairman out that morning to fix. He quickly realized what the problem was - total coolant leak. The age of my unit precluded a refill - the new type of coolant wouldn’t work in my unit. So…3 days later I had a new unit. Couldn’t be happier. They were quick, clean - in and out in a day. Thanks Trademaster!!!

My water heater kicked the bucket and was not in a state of repair. I called and spoke with Sandy who took care of me straight away. David was dispatched to my home and was nothing short of professional in every sense of the word. He was patient, answered all of my questions and worked diligently to replace my water heater. He cleaned up when he was done and I could not be more satisfied.

When making this review, I did something that booted the review of my HVAC install 3 years ago. Great experience and the fairest proposal of four bids for the job. Very pleased with the service I received.

Trademasters is very professional and responsive. All the staff I dealt with were pleasant. I was able to schedule a quote quickly; it was detailed and quite reasonable. My installation went very smoothly as did the follow up inspection. I highly recommend Trademasters.I also used them for a water heater inspection and the installation of two faucets. It was easy to schedule so that multiple services could be accomplished in one visit. The plumber was professional, efficient and helpful with suggestions. Great experiences for all services.

The crew at Trademasters stands behind their work. I had an upstairs a/c system replaced and they did a great job. Overtime the base plate they used started to collapse into the garden bed . I sent pictures and they came out and replaced the base unit with a bigger one at no additional charge. It’s hard to find real honest people who do good work in the HVAC and plumbing trades but you can count on Trademasters to take care of you . Thanks again Dave and the crew

I have had Trademasters come out before and have always had great experiences with their professionalism and quality of work. However, my recent experience with technician Devon Houston was far from that standard.

After being delayed, I simply asked for an ETA, but instead of a straightforward response, I received a passive-aggressive reply filled with unnecessary emojis. His response to my request for an ETA was, “I’m here loading up tools your [sic] more than welcome to come out here.”

While Trademasters has proven reliable in the past, Devon Houston's handling of this situation was disappointing and didn’t reflect the high standards I’m used to. I wouldn’t recommend working with him based on this experience.
