During my kitchen renovation, we ran into some issues with rerouting the HVAC lines. The guys at Cosmos were able to solve all of our problems quickly and easily. It was great to not have to worry about that aspect of the job thanks guys

Fantastic company. Been using them for years. The first time many years ago needed to replace my heating/cooling unit. Was given a quote by another company. Told to check with them. Half the price. You cannot go wrong with the company.

I contacted Cosmos Heating and Cooling because I thought my AC unit wasn't working properly. It was still cooling my house, but I thought it was leaking as there was flooding near the unit in my basement.

They showed up the same day I called for service and were very gracious and professional. As it turned out, my AC unit was fine; the flooding resulted from the drain in the basement floor being blocked. Even though it was NOT in their job description, they cleared the blockage and fixed the problem in no time at all.

It was so nice of them to do this as plumbing services aren't something they typically provide! However, Gus said he wanted to help if he could and I'm very grateful for him being so considerate and courteous. They will certainly be the first ones I'll call in the future for any of my heating or AC needs!

Had some trouble with my AC. Called Cosmos because they had serviced the unit earlier. They were able to diagnose over the phone and save me a call out.

I called up Cosmos in middle of heat spell in late July and the team showed up next day to assess my A/C unit. They tried multiple solutions and then determined a full replacement of my 20-year old unit was necessary (which was no surprise to me). They showed up shortly with new unit and installed it quickly. Very responsive and I would use them again (this was already second time I used them).

I just moved into my house and the vents looked nasty so called them. Gave me flat price for air duct cleaning (always love a flat price). Came on time. Took the time, care, and precaution about trekking on my floors, in addition to cleaning my air ducts and vents which took quite a while cause it was so dirty. They were considerate, polite, professional and did excellent work. Some of the best money I've spent on this house. I would highly recommend them.

While some companies may look at a small project and give that customer less attention while focusing on larger jobs, that attitude is not even a consideration with Cosmos. They are capable of handling the largest project you can task them with and just as friendly on a smaller service call.

George and the Cosmos Heating & Cooling team were phenomenal. Unlike other quotes I received, Cosmos gave a fair price from the start. I appreciated this approach, as it was apparent that other companies price gouged their quote only to dramatically decrease their offer to beat other competitors. We ran into some difficulty with the permit process due to recent change of ownership, but George navigated all of the obstacles and I soon had a new power vent HVAC system installed. The unit looks and works great and Cosmos Heating & Cooling's professionalism and expertise gives me peace of mind that I have received a quality install and a quality product. Highly recommend for others needing HVAC services!

I first called Cosmos during the winter of 2017. I just had moved to this house. The blower in the furnace was dead during the very cold days. George came out and replaced the blower. I was impressed and thankful because he understood my situation and came out as soon as he can.

In 2018, I replaced the AC/Furnace. The other day outside condenser stopped working and Gus came out to replace the capacitor and it started working again. And before he was leaving he asked if there was anything else. I remembered I had a couple of flooding incidents. And Gus quickly saw that my problem was a blockage on my drain pipe. It took a little bit of work and managed it working again. When I was billed, I asked him that if I didn't have drain pipe fix, whether the cost would have been different. He said no, because he was charging me for the time (total time he spent was close to 1 hr). I think Cosmos is very professional and fair which is very hard to find these days.

This is an edit to a review I submitted below last year regarding COSMOS Heating and Cooling. Recently (6/20/25), COSMOS replaced our main level HVAC system. From pricing to scheduling to flawless install, we could not have been more pleased. George and his skilled technicians removed our old AC and furnace system and replaced it with a new Carrier system in just under 6 hours, to include getting the system operating according to specs. We are very pleased with our new system. COSMOS sets the standard for understanding and accommodating customer needs. We have used other HVAC contractors over 27 years and none hold a candle to COSMOS.

Very grateful and appreciative of COSMOS (George) recommending a quality plumbing company to help us today with a drain overflow issue. I had contacted COSMOS about a water leak in our basement thinking it was related to our HVAC. George came out early this morning and assessed that we actually had a plumbing problem, not a problem with our HVAC leaking. He recommended 2020 Drain Cleaning and Plumbing. Of course we fully trust COSMOS to recommend great companies to us. 2020 came out this afternoon and did not disappoint. Their customer service and expertise were evident throughout. Thanks to COSMOS, we have a a quality Plumbing Company we can rely on. COSMOS always wants what is best for their customers. That is what sets them apart from all of the others. They deliver when others stumble. Thanks Georges, Gus, and COSMOS team!

We used Cosmos more than once and Mr. Gus did amazing job every time. They installed the new heater for us in our home. Mr. Gus do inspections on our cooling and heating system in our 2 homes in Alexandria every year and we can't be more happy with his professionalism and knowledge. We will for sure use Cosmos again and recommend them to all our friends.

I can not more enthusiastically recommend Cosmos. I first found Cosmos through positive reviews on Angie's list. I called when my AC was not working in summer. The first time I called, Gus was willing to come out on a Sunday to assist me. He was able to correctly diagnose my problem that 2 other companies missed.
A few months later, I had a flooding disaster that killed/short circuited my whole AC unit. I was in-between transitioning to a new employer and funds were short. Gus was able to arrange a fair financing arrangement agreeable to us both. His pricing was very reasonable.
Both Gus and his son take great pride in their work and do not take any short cuts. They are very knowledgeable and willing to answer your questions and concerns, providing superior customer service. I have had the misfortune of dealing with a national heat/cool company prior to calling on Cosmos.
Don't make a similar mistake like me. Call Cosmos the first time, and you won't regret it.
