Constraction reviews in Manassas, Virginia

We had damage from a hail storm to our roof, siding, stucco and windows Eric worked with our insurance company to finally get everything done to our house. Everybody at nvb are very professional and did great work.

My husband I worked with Eric of NVB and he was great to work with from start to finish on the replacement of our roof and gutters. He is very knowledgeable and explained the process of working with our insurance company thoroughly. His team was quick but efficient and cleaned up as if they were never here. We highly recommend NVB for any of your roofing needs.

We had the pleasure of working with Jonathan Z. He was very thorough in his explanation of the work and all the documentation. He was very professional and maintained excellent communication with us. He was able to answer all our questions and really provided quality customer service. He made us feel very comfortable and secure with the project (we are out of state) and would recommend him to others.

Rory Zack and the two crews he brought with him removed and replaced approximately 80 square of shingles on our house and shop in one day! The crews did an excellent job, removing and installing the shingles. After completing the roofing, they cleaned up all around the buildings. There was no evidence that they were even here for the whole day. Thanks to them all for an excellent job.

I had my whole roof replaced and they fixed the inside of my home! All I have to say is they are wonderful, respectful, professional, just very nice people all around!! I don’t have any negative comments about them!

They respond to emails VERY FAST, handled paper work amazingly. Very patient when working with the insurance company.

Their crew is by far the nicest!! I’ve had a wonderful experience.

I love my new roof !!!!!! It’s beautiful

I’ve included some before and after pictures!

We had a kitchen fire and everything had to be replaced. NVB Contracting came in to assess. They went to bat for us with the insurance company. They stayed in constant contact with us even after work hours and replied almost immediately. They pleasantly worked with us no matter how many times we changed our mind about paint color, flooring type, cabinet style, etc. They made sure our kitchen turned out exactly the way we wanted it to look. They did excellent work in a timely manner. We worked with Eric and Josh at NVB. They were professional, honest and two of the nicest people to do business with. I highly recommend NVB Contracting!

My experience with NVB Contracting in the summer of 2025 was fantastic. It is an excellent company, and I have absolute trust and respect for NVB's Jhonatan Zelaes, who oversaw three big jobs on my giant old house last June, July and August, with friendliness and consummate professionalism. He replaced my massive tin roof and gutters--managing a crew of men who worked in 90-degree weather on the hot tin roof in the blazing sun--and even SANG while they worked. He also coordinated all the filings with my insurance effectively and efficiently to make sure I got maximum coverage. NVB did such a great job on my roof that I then reached out to Jhonatan Zelaes again last summer to get two other projects done on my house; repairing and rescreening my back porch, and shoring up my front porch foundation. I consider NVB Contracting top-notch and am so glad I chose them. I will be reaching out to them in future, and recommend the company highly, and without reservation!

The best decision I made was reaching out to NVB and working with Charlie Pizzola on December 20, 2025. I explained the issues I was having with a recently acquired home, and he immediately understood what needed to be done. He walked me through the entire process and made sure I fully understood every step.

Charlie was extremely knowledgeable about the roof and personally inspected the home, providing a thorough report on the dwelling, property condition, deck, and even the shed. The roof was replaced, and the entire experience was smooth and professional. I highly recommend NVB for any home repair or improvement needs. I am truly grateful for this company—they genuinely have your best interest at heart.

Alfredo and Javier were excellent! They’ve done an awesome job replacing the damaged sill plate in my basement. They were extremely professional, explained the entire process and done an outstanding job. I would highly recommend!!!!!

Alex and his crew are very professional hard workers. NV Waterproofing and Foundation Repair fixed my foundation concerns at a reasonable cost. Thank you very much, Robert Milici

Thank you, NV team for adding years onto my home and hairs onto my head! We had a difficult repair of broken floor joists requiring careful structural assessment. The team quickly devised and executed a fix that was comprehensive and practical. The company handled all permit, inspection and gas line communications for us. Bielman and crew finished on time with a quality result. This is the company for structural repair!

Mark and crew did an amazing job! They worked diligently, thought through the project from every angle, and did great work. I wish all of my contractor experiences were like this. Highly recommend this team!

Zack did an excellent job fixing our foundation. His work is that of high quality. He was also was very attentive, knowledgeable, and overall excellent. I would definitely use again and refer to customers

After years of semi-annual floods and wet walls, we called NV Waterproofing - from the low pressure sales to the voluminous information with the estimate and documents left behind - the estimate was full of clear options. I’ve never had a company send me a book about their work before the sales call.

It was easy to schedule, and the crew arrived on time – they were polite, communicative and seemed to really enjoy the work and working together – Casey, the foreman kept me up to date and Ricky, Grant and Cory took great care of our house and yard. They cleaned up thoroughly. I was impressed at how thoughtful the install was – limiting protruding pipes and keeping as much basement space useable as possible.

The team finished early, and the yard was in better shape than when they left – it was this thoughtfulness that impressed me. This larger than usual team finished the task ahead of schedule and we are well pleased with the work- this weekend’s rain will be the ultimate validation.

We appreciate the NV staff who worked with us on a complex and major repair. Everyone from the sales people, the technicians and management are knowledgeable and professional. We would like to call out Oswaldo and his repair team, Mauricio from sales, Sara in the office and Cris from management. A special callout to Roberto who responded to some unforeseen issues that arose. He was especially responsive on several occasions. We recommend this company because their skills and professionalism.

Update:
We continued to work with NV Waterproofing after water was bypassing their newly installed system and entering our home. Due to unique characteristics of my old home, NV Waterproofing did need to make several return visits. Each person who returned brought the same warm energy and commitment to getting our system to fully operational. I'm updating this review several months later as I can confirm the system is fully operational now. We appreciate tremendously how NV stood behind their product and was committed to fulfilling their promise to us. Based on the outstanding customer service, transparent communication, and repeated visits, we believe that our home was an anomaly and that most homes do not require repeat visits. We'd highly recommend this company to others.

When our basement flooded we spoke with a lot of waterproofing professionals and sourced a lot of opinions. We selected NV Waterproofing after a great experience with Colin coming out around our busy schedule and answering all of our questions patiently. Oswaldo, the team leader arrived on site with Felipe and David. They were so friendly and kind when interacting with myself and my young child. Oswaldo and I did a walkthrough before they started the project, he presented as calm and knowledgeable which put my worries at ease. They worked hard for 4 straight days, each day Oswaldo gave me an update on what work they completed and what was planned for the next day. In the evenings when I went down to check on the progress I was always so impressed with how clean the job site was, especially considering that they were jackhammering the dusty concrete slab and working with gravel. It was very clear that the work was completed to a high standard every step of the way. Not only this but Oswaldo was kind enough to point out some plumbing concerns and do a temporary repair until we can get a plumber out. He and the team were so thoughtful and considerate from making a slight design change to our exit line that would improve access for a future project, to reinstalling our Halloween decorations after removing them for the exterior work. Truly Oswaldo's leadership and his team members provided top notch service and we are so incredibly grateful. NV Waterproofing is the way to go!

Great company! We are in the beginning stages of building and reached out for foundation waterproofing. My husband is in the industry. Nate was our point of contact and very responsive to both me and my husband. Glen did the heavy lifting. He arrived on time and completed on schedule on the hottest days of summer this year. The billing was done via email and the office very responsive. I love to work with companies that do what they say they are going to do and NV delivered, Thanks!

I highly recommend NV Waterproofing & Foundation Repair!

The work crew, Alfredo, David, and Javier were excellent! Alfredo Hernandez, the Foreman, kept me updated every step of the process, thoroughly answered every question I had, and addressed all concerns with expert problem solving and skill.

These three men were in my home for a couple weeks doing extensive foundation and waterproofing work. They were always professional, courteous, and kept the work space clean. I was able to leave home for appointments with full confidence and trust in this crew.

I am incredibly happy with the work of, and my experience with, Alfredo, David, and Javier, and I will be requesting this crew for any future work I need done!

The sales manger, Brendan Feehan, was incredibly knowledgeable as well, and was able to solve every problem with my complex foundation and waterproofing issues. He was accessible to answer any questions I had throughout the process, and available to stop by as needed. Brendan is professional, helpful, and an expert in this profession. He's not just selling products. He understands the complexities of old and new construction and how to keep it stable and dry.

Thank you all for your exceptional work!

Jeremy came out this morning right on time. He was polite, very knowledgeable and gave me suggestions on how to do preventative maintenance to ensure a level foundation. He was very thorough with his inspection and at the end, gave me the peace of mind that my foundation was stable! I can’t recommend this company enough, thank you so much, Jeremy!

Excellent crew! Bielman is an excellent foreman! Great communication, professional demeanor from the crew. I’m very happy with the installation and the buying experience!

Alex and his team did a fantastic job. Our house had rotten load bearing wood. Other companies either quoted well above NV Waterproofing or proposed wildly inadequate repairs. In just two days, they lifted the house up, removed all of the rotten material and replaced it with pressure treated wood, sealing everything up so we wouldn't have to face this again. The before and after photos speak for themselves.
