Had a huge surprise fallen tree land in my yard during a recent storm. Ended up in a precarious position threatening my fencing, sewage system, and outbuilding. The team at Ross took excellent care of the problem at a fair price. Everyone was professional and friendly and, while I wasn’t home to meet the work crew, they did a thorough job and left my yard very tidy. Highly recommended.

I have used Curtis and his team for years. They do excellent work, are responsive and have reasonable rates.

Howard said it was such a small job that it was not worth sending a big truck to our area (Lake Ridge). So he did it on the spot himself and didn't charge us anything. We really appreciate it, and we're VERY pleased with the outcome.

I called Freedom Tree Service (a family run business) to take care of my parents' property in Manassas. After years of renters' neglect, Howard Curtis of Freedom Tree Service, made sure that the trees on the property well trimmed back, dead trees were removed, and everything looked beautiful as it had once before!

I will ALWAYS refer and recommend Freedom Tree Service to everyone. You will always get the most professional, reliable, and fairly-priced service with them. They couldn't be nicer!

They came out Friday, took down a tree and removed some other debris. My yard and road were complety clean, no debris was left behind. I have used this company before, and they have always done a super job, very professional, and courteous.

Unfortunately, they are not good anymore…

We began using Freedom Trees about 20 years ago. At that time, they were fantastic. We used their service for the last time in January and found the interaction to be unprofessional.

08/09/2018 – Requested a tree inspection

09/25/2018 – Estimate received. No tree damage or removal recommended.

09/30/2018 – Authorized work

10/02/2018 – I’m informed that they are backed up due to excessive rain, and that they’d be in touch.

01/01/2019 – No scheduled appointment yet. I followed up.

Eventually, work is performed while we were not home. Two of the trees were tied with a pink plastic ribbon (marking that typically denotes removal). However, we were not contacted to explain the reason. Note again that Howard did not recommend that any of the trees be removed during the original inspection. Also, the invoice did not explain why the trees were marked.

I contact them asking for clarification and was told to send pictures. I sent pictures and weeks went by with no response.

03/17/2019 – I follow up and was told that Howard no longer remembers the trees. I’m asked to send pictures AGAIN.
