I was smelling a bit of burning wire by the laundry room and was concerned. Dryer King & Prince was here the next day. The technician got right to the dryer vent cleaning and resolved a seriously clogged lint backup. Immediate relief. Quick, professional, and a very much-needed safety service.

The technician who came for my dryer vent cleaning was super nice. He also told me to check the outside vent hood for tiny nests from bugs every spring, which I never thought of. He was pleasant, explained airflow obstruction in detail, and did the job quickly without making a mess. I always appreciate when a service person takes the time to educate a customer. Would use this Arlington company again!

I couldn't believe what the tech pulled out of there! A lint ball the size of a tennis ball was somehow wedged way down in the vent, causing air to come out like a trickle. He took care of it and the professional dryer vent cleaning.

He was very happy about finding something so strange and said the air was flowing much better. My dryer is functioning silently and more effectively than it has in ages. Amazing service and well worth it.

The technician from Dryer King & Prince explained that because my vent run is so long, the trapped moisture was backing up into the wall. He did a deep dryer vent cleaning that took a good while because the duct was so long. Since the job, that specific hallway doesn't feel clammy anymore, and the clothes are actually bone dry. The guy fixed a moisture issue, not just a lint clog. I highly recommend their expertise for large or historic homes in the area.

The technician called 30 minutes in, showed up right on time, and was super fast. I live in a three-story house, and the vent runs up the side, which is always an inconvenience. He took care of the high-access dryer vent cleaning swiftly and cleaned without incident from his ladder work. He acknowledged that I was on conference calls the entire time and worked quietly. He also showed me the difference in the vent cap operation after cleaning. If you've never had your windows professionally cleaned, it may seem like an indulgent extravagance or something you can tackle yourself over the weekend. And maybe it is, but trust me on this: you will not be able to do a better job than these guys. There's a thing called "nose blindness" that happens when you acclimate to an odor to the point you can't smell it anymore; we had that with our dirty windows. That was just how the world looked - or so we thought.

It's a day later and the wife and I are STILL remarking on how amazing our windows look, how clear and beautiful everything outside is. It's what I imagine people feel like after having cataracts removed.

The crew were amazing, professional, on time and friendly. They started by pulling about 3 pounds of garbage out of my gutters (which do have covers, so let this be a warning - get 'em cleaned out periodically EVEN IF you have gutter covers!), then came inside to clean and unlatch the screens, then went back outside, then back inside to finish up and do a final quality check.

I can't say enough good things about these guys and their services. If you can count your windows and describe them semi-accurately you can even get a quote over the phone without waiting. Five stars, very happy and will call them again when I need them.

I had my first experience with Virginia Window Cleaners, Inc. Melvin and his two crew members arrived on time. They were friendly and professional. They power washed my back siding, washed my windows inside and outside, and cleaned the screens as well as the sills. The team was very thorough! I am very pleased with their work! Virginia Window Cleaners did a great job cleaning my windows, screens, and storm windows. The technician was prompt, efficient, and pleasant. The only negative is that he did not clean the top of the window sashes all that thoroughly. And the dispatcher was misleading in that he gave the impression that the storm windows were included in the price range he quoted me but in fact storm windows are an additional price. So the job was expensive but in fairness not all that out of range of other estimates I received.

Virginia Window Cleaners came recommended by a friend, but I’ll be reporting back that they did not follow through.

I first spoke to Pam on a Monday. She said she’d send someone out to look at my 6 windows with calcium deposits, and that she would call me the next day with a time. She never called.

I called Tuesday and spoke with a man who said he’d call back later that day with timing. He never called back.

On Wednesday, I called again. Pam said she would send someone that day. I told her my availability had changed and I would not be free until after 1:30pm.

A technician (Julio) showed up at 1:10pm, before I was available, and said he had been waiting 25 minutes.

Julio told me they could clean the windows with a solution called “Diamond” and that Pam would send me a quote.

I never received the quote. In addition, Julio spent time pitching his side business instead of representing the company.

Very disappointing experience. Poor communication, failure to follow through, and no quote provided.

Best communication of all the window washing companies I use. A little pricy by comparison in my opinion and experience but worth it. Work is accurate, complete and timely. Today Julio and Johnny of VWCI cleaned windows at a property I am listing For Sale tomorrow. After carpeting, painting, power washing and interior house cleaning, window washing is the final touch before photo shoot.

We had a tough tea stain on the carpet that I tried to remove with several store-bought carpet cleaners and a Dawn and vinegar mix. Instead of helping, it spread the spot and made the carpet look worse. I blotted the spill right away at first, and it seemed fine, but once the stain showed up more clearly in better light, I kept trying different products and only made it worse. Randall was able to fully remove the stain and restore the carpet fibers so it looked clean again. I honestly thought the carpet was ruined, but his carpet cleaning skill and stain treatment worked great. We are very grateful for the excellent service and would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs carpet cleaning or stubborn stain removal.

My carpets came out clean, the service was fast, and I really liked how quickly everything dried. Thomas and Julian were friendly and worked efficiently, and the whole carpet cleaning appointment felt easy and well organized. I also appreciated how fresh the rooms looked afterward. They arrived later than expected, but once they got started they moved quickly and covered the bedrooms and hallway well. There was a small mess during the visit, but it was taken care of, and the overall result still left the carpet looking much better. The pet stain treatment helped freshen the area and improved the appearance of the carpet, even though some deeper spots can still be hard to fully remove. Overall, I was happy with the cleaning service and the improvement in my home.
