Great electrician. Was very responsive and on time.

I was referred to Town and Country by one of my neighbors. However, no one ever called me back. I even called and texted Milton and he never responded. I can only assume by their actions, that they don't value referrals like other businesses.
It's hard to find responsive and dependable contractors but after an additional search, I found two electricians that were responsive unlike Town and Country.
As a result, I DO NOT recommend Town and Country Electrical.

The gentlemen at Old Dominion provided excellent customer service, were pleasant and the prices were much lower than some of the larger chain stores.

These folks serve the trade, of course, but they also take care of the humble DIY homeowner. Awesome customer service and follow through. Love that they are in the city, have weekend hours and off street parking.

ordered a ventilation fan via internet and the bathroom ventilation fan did not include the light which was pictured on their item. Spoke w company and they assured me it had a light and image was incorrect. When item arrived it only included a night light max 10 watt so was not able to illuminate a small bathroom for only light source.

Shipped item back w original box they shipped to me.
I paid the shipping cost and received 75% of price because the box was written on by post office when it was returned...what a poor way of taking care of a customer when the company acknowledged their own mistake. I contacted them that I was disappointed with how the handled this.

Steve Foster has already sold the company to another electrical company and is firing all but 3 employees at Christmas 2021.
The biggest concern is the warranty that was promised on the work and materials preformed and installed, now that S.A. Foster has taken everyones money 💵 and is getting out of business.

I used to order all my supplies from this company. lately tried to put an order for a ballast and some bulbs with Fred Lane. He asked me to email him exact order spects and I did. gave me a price and told him go ahead and order. I also asked him if he can give me a break on delivery charge since I can get the same product for less. Never heard back. I called him and he said he will call me back and never did. it's been 2 weeks and nothing from them. I guess they don't want my business. It would be nice if they have told me instead to keep me waiting. Called another company and were able to get it ordered and delivered same day.
