If you have hard wood floors or tile do not get the basic package they screw you over so bad and charge way to much. They used to be so much better but these days not so much they left all my cabinets and shelves dirty alone with anything behind a door. The kitchen was untouched and honestly the customer is shut! I spent 2 hours on the phone trying to get someone on the phone to help me. I called when they opened and no one answered for almost 45 mins. A waste of your money. Please avoid them at all cost. My 5 year could have done a better job

100% reliable - Merry Maids have never let me down in the many years I've used them. Nothing ever out of place, never anything missing, and everthing always cleaned well. Becky is my favorite Merry Maid! She's the best!

I paid for a move out deep clean of my apartment and spent almost $300 for the service. When I did a walk-through there was visible grease on the kitchen cabinet above the stove, one of the toilets was dirty (not the bowl, but the tank area was dusty/dirty), one of the bathtubs had cleaning residue streaks all over the tile. The interiors of the cabinets were not wiped out, and the kitchen sink wasn't scrubbed. I expected a deeper, more thorough cleaning for the cost of services. I will not recommend this company to anyone.

Very disappointed not only with the poor quality of cleaning received, but also the lack of care related to these issues from the business itself. We used this service for 3.5 months and the standards lowered each time. Out of 7 visits, our hardwood floors were never mopped as promised on our contract. Several times they had to come back the following day to do the job that was neglected, which was very inconvenient for us. They stated the reason was due to them using a "dry mop" method, which does absolutely nothing. Even after my husband provided them with floor cleaner (although we were told that was included), it still didn't make a difference. Surfaces were not dusted and sinks were not cleaned out as promised. The most frustrating part was not even getting an email or phone call once we contacted the company to discontinue services and share our feedback. They didn't care about our negative experience and made no effort to acknowledge or amend our concerns. There are many options in the Richmond area, so don't waste your time with this unprofessional, low standard "cleaning" service.

We have used the monthly home cleaning service for 15 months now, and remain pleased with Merry Maids! Sylvia and Hannah are a dream team: very personable, paying attention to detail, always pleasant and polite! I feel like they know our entire family at this point! Our home is immaculate each time they clean (Except, of course the junk we leave around). Prices are very fair. If you need a deep clean or scheduled service, I highly recommend Merry Maids, they take the stress out of keeping our Home clean on a regular basis.

The best cleaning company we have ever used! We have had multiple cleaners and each one of them has been great. They clean beyond what we ask for and show up on time on the minute. Very impressed with their service and our house has never looked better!!!

Our cleaners came on EXACTLY at the agreed upon time which was so impressive. The house smelled fresh, odds and ends were tidied up, and I was super blown away by the attention to detail. I can’t express in words on a Google review just how thorough of a job they did. It was so nice to come home after work…it felt so much less stressful and chaotic knowing the house had been deep cleaned. So appreciative and pleased with the work put into our home!

I had recurring cleaning scheduled on a monthly basis with this company. First of all, I found it odd that I never got an email or any other way to track my payments or arrangements other than a vague schedule that was sent by snail-mail. There was virtually no other paper trail indicating that I was receiving services other than me providing my card details to the manager on the phone. As some others have indicated, I felt I was being overcharged for the subpar work. The first time, the lady did a nice job and was pretty detail oriented, but each time the standards decreased significantly. I found dust on the baseboards and parts of the bathroom that were untouched during the cleaning process. And I’m sorry to say, but we regret tipping the cleaning lady as much as we did. We were extremely nice to her and offered her water, soda, and other refreshments each time, which she absolutely had the right to refuse. My problem is, she came in with a standoffish attitude and was not very responsive when I made requests or pointed things out to her. I didn’t appreciate her negative energy in my home. Way too overpriced for overworked cleaners with a poor attitude. Save your money for a better service. There are plenty around here!

We had an incredible experience with Merry Maids of Chesterfield! Not only are they professional, exceptional at cleaning and on time (showing up when scheduled)… their customer service experience sets them a part from other agencies. If you are on the fence about a cleaning service to try out or looking to schedule ongoing cleaning services, this is the team to hire!

Merry Maids provided exceptional cleaning services for my home. Their attention to detail was impressive, leaving every corner sparkling clean. The team was professional, courteous, and efficient. I highly recommend Merry Maids to anyone in need of reliable and thorough cleaning services.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. I requested an estimate online which showed $157 for initial deep cleaning and $57 biweekly. I booked the appointment prior to having my other services done. First off they just assumed I was a female and left me a message calling me Miss (not a big issue but what’s with the assumptions???) I spoke with I believe April and she told me that she needed to contact corporate to find out what was going on but since I was quoted that it should be honored. She promised to call me back the next day. I waited all day for a call and finally called back myself. Another person there said she left a message for me that the biweekly price is $85. I had to request again for her to call me back. So you don’t honor prices as you say you do and you promise call backs to prospective customers and just leave them hanging knowing they are on a time schedule. It’s bad business all the way around. If this is how a prospective customer is treated imagine if you actually hire them and there’s an issue, I’m sure they will be more than happy to take ZERO responsibility for it. Do better Merry Maids!!!

Merry Maids of Chesterfield provided incredible cleaning service with professionalism and great attention to detail. The staff is always very friendly and courteous. The house always looks and smells amazing when they are finished.

I had an absolutely, positively fabulous experience with Wanda and her team from beginning to end.

I found the quote to be incredibly reasonable. Wanda was patient with our ever-changing schedule as we finished up our flooring replacement.

Her crew is incredibly professional, considerate, and thorough. I was surprised at how quickly they were able to complete the cleaning without cutting corners.

I highly recommend Wanda and her team for post-construction cleaning services!
