I hired Molly Maids today do a thorough cleaning on a house that really needed it. When I got my quote, I thought it would e impossible to complete in the allotted time.

Team “2”, Mirian and Sandy, were amazing. They got the job done in slightly less time, and it wasn’t just a speedy swipe. They corrected difficult areas and the attention to detail was outstanding. Great job!

Team #6 Angie and Linda do a great job!

This was our first experience with professional cleaners! Angie and Linda (team #4) did an excellent job! I was home working when they did the cleaning (me and our pets were in the sunroom) and they were so mindful and efficient. They really paid attention to detail and as someone with a large shedding dog and a cat, I’ve never seen the baseboards so clean. They made the guest room bed and my son’s room with care. I think my favorite part is I could tell that they took everything off our kitchen counter to deep clean and then replaced everything as it was. No spot unturned. Everything smelt so fresh and everything was visibly clean.

I originally put in an online request for cleaning one week ahead of time and the office called a few days later to confirm everything. They explained what the cleaners would do and if we needed any extras, so I knew what services I was getting. They also called ahead of time to let us know the cleaners schedule and when they would be arriving.

As a first timer for hiring a professional cleaner I would recommend!

So I decided I wanted to try a cleaning service and here I am unfortunately it did not go as promised and I am devastated for one. I was really looking forward to some additional help in my home due to the fact that I am a full-time student I work and I also have two kids. I just wanted something to make life a little easier for me, but this was not it. I paid $325 w/ an extra $50 to get my oven cleaned and it looks like it never even got touched. The beds were made like a five-year-old did it and everything was clean, but was not put back in its proper place. I understand that they don’t organize, but at least put my items back where they belong. I shouldn’t have to come home and clean behind my cleaner i’m very annoyed and I think that I’m going ahead and cancel my next services indefinitely and try a different cleaning service unfortunately guys if you want someone to clean your home I don’t think this company is it they really need to get their priorities together if you’re going to be cleaning people‘s homes and make sure that the people you get to clean are going to do it properly because this is not what I was promised and don’t let them fool you with that reclean bullshit because at the end of the day it shouldn’t have to get re-clean. It should’ve been done properly ithe first time that’s why they offer a reclean because they know that they are horrible.
So run run as fast as you can and don’t put yourself in a situation
Update : so I just got off the phone with one of the most terrible customer service person I have ever dealt with in my life. I called to let them know that I wasn’t satisfied with my service and I discovered that there was a misunderstanding in the price I did not pay extra for the oven to be cleaned. It was part of our hourly rate which is fine, but she just had a very condescending attitude made it seem like it was my fault that I was unhappy, and then when I tried to address the issue with her, she basically got more smart with me, and then when I told her that I wanted to cancel the services, she hung up in my face I will never ever ever in my life ever recommend anyone to go through this service. That lady was so rude. I promise you you will want to scream. Then had the nerve to ask me to change my Google review, which I had to plan on updating it anyway but now I am not updating or changing anything I would rather pay $300 for a better service then pay them $125 and be treated like crap You get what you pay for The crazy thing is treat me good and you have me forever treat me bad and I could be your worst enemy
They really need to hire people with better customer service and really get rid of her or you guys are gonna lose a whole lot more customers

Vanessa has been coming to our house for a couple of years now and always does a great job. She used to work with a partner but is now coming alone and is still able to get everything cleaned up and shining in short order. She is prompt and efficient, works hard, and always has a smile on her face.

I had a gift card for Molly Maid, which I used for a deep clean and then after I did two subsequent regular cleanings.

I was pretty disappointed in the quality of the deep cleaning. I would expect a deep clean to include things like dusting, baseboards, cleaning under the couch, vacuuming couch cushions, but none of that was completed. The stovetop was cleaned, but the wall next to the stove still very much needed a cleaning. I know they will come back out for missed things, but it felt like a lot was overlooked and honestly I don’t like the idea of having to complain about what imo should have been done originally. I have never had a cleaning service though, so perhaps my expectations were out of line. I overall felt like the price did not match the quality of cleaning. The cleaning team was very friendly and prompt though.

The regular weekly cleanings were fine. I am confused about the billing though, I paid the amount I was told was the weekly price, but when we went to cancel I was told there was a small extra balance to be paid. No idea for what, since the cleaners never stayed the full hour I paid for (they left 15+ minutes early the last time) and I never got any sort of receipt or invoice.

ETA - I received an invoice from the company and the remaining balance was my fault, so I don’t hold that against them and updated my review accordingly.

I have had multiple maid services before I found Molly Maids. I have been with them for quite a few years. I have a two person team made up of two ladies who are my regular crew. They come every two weeks like clockwork. They never miss a shift. They are friendly and most important they are quiet. Also when they walk in the door they immediately start working. They do not bring their breakfast or snacks that they eat on your comforters. They are efficient and they leave my house clean and smelling really nice. Hired Molly Maids to do a move-in clean. We clearly discussed what specific services would be done, but when I arrived home afterwards, it was as if they never came to clean. Cobwebs in the windows, dust and splatter on the baseboards, scum on the bathroom floor, etc. The only reason this review is not 0 stars is because when I called to let the office know, they were quick to schedule a complimentary return service to address the areas left unclean. However, upon their complimentary second cleaning, it was obvious they did not mop the floor--they claimed it was thick paint and they were unable to clean it because of insurance, but I was able to wipe it up with a water damped paper towel...

Really displeased with this service and will openly advise friends and family to avoid them.

I find it hard enough paying someone to clean my house as I'm expecting to do a better job myself, but I used Molly Maid 3 times as a new parent to give us a break for the first couple months. My biggest problem was that you're given a clear list of what they clean, but then on all 3 visits they proceeded not to clean according to their own list and I needed to ask the cleaners to redo areas each time. The problem areas were mirrors, baseboards, and door frames. It's just frustrating to pay someone to clean to save time but then feel like you're really just supervising them because they aren't doing a good job.

I hired Molly Maids for a one-time deep clean of my 2,000 sq ft home in preparation for the arrival of my baby. I maintain a clean house, but I wanted the peace of mind that comes with a thorough, detailed clean. Unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations, especially considering the $341 price tag. Two women arrived and completed the job in under two hours. While they performed basic tasks like cleaning toilets, showers, vacuuming, mopping, dusting fans, wiping window sills, and cleaning the oven top, the service they provided was more on par with a regular biweekly clean rather than the deep clean I specifically requested.

There were several key areas that were overlooked. One of the reasons I chose Molly Maids was the promise of baseboard cleaning, something I can’t manage myself at nine months pregnant. However, many baseboards were barely touched, and I could still wipe off dust and dirt afterward. While the kitchen sink was cleaned, the grate over it was left grimy, and we had to scrub it ourselves after they left. High-touch areas like doors were ignored, and dust still lingered on the hearth in front of our fireplace. I also found that they didn’t move lighter furniture like our ottoman, as there was still debris underneath. The blinds were barely touched, and the bathroom sink drain was left with grime. In the kitchen, dirt was still present around our trash can and the scuff marks on the wall behind it were left untouched.

I wouldn’t typically nitpick these details, but for $350 and a service advertised as a "deep clean," I expected more. What I received was closer to a quick once-over that would be expected for a regular cleaning service. Given this experience, I cannot recommend Molly Maids for a one-time deep clean.

A clean house every time. Floors wet mopped, carpets vacuumed, furniture dusted and sheets changed nicely. All done with a smile and quiet happy singing. Couldn’t ask for more.

Ashley & Laura (Team #6) are wonderful! They do a terrific job of cleaning our house and are very personable as well as professional. We love them (and so does our dog!)

My team from Molly Maid of Capital City, VA (Ashley and Laura) does a great job. They are dependable, professional and friendly. When they leave my house smells and looks clean with some nice special touches. I also love the flexibility when I am out of town or need to switch days.

I was hesitant to hire Molly Maids due to the mixed reviews but I used them in a different area of Virginia and LOVED them so I decided to go through with it. And boy am I happy that I did. During my estimate I learned that this location is under new ownership. The new owner was actually the one who performed my estimate. He owns another Molly Maid in VA and is determined to turn this location around. Speaking to him gave me the upmost confidence and it was proven by the actual clean. The ladies came on time, they were very friendly, and they did an amazing job. They also asked me if there was anything they missed and I did a review of my house to not find anything to point out. I did just move here so I did request a deep clean. I have 3 floors, 5 bed, 2 bath. They took 4 hours. It felt like a long time but I am glad they took their time. They even made my beds with the new linens, put on my duvet cover which I loath, and cleaned the inside of my fridge. I am very pleased with the result. You pay for the quality and service. Thank you Molly Maid! See you in 2 weeks.

Ashley and Laura (team 6) have been servicing my house for the last couple of years. They always do an excellent job- thorough vacuuming, dusting, mopping and general organization of loose items around the house. They will go above and beyond like making our bed and putting away our dishes. I work from home, so they are here while I'm working and they are very respectful of working around me and my dog. Overall they do a great service for a reasonable price.

Please do not use Megan to clean your home. We used her for a move-out clean to get our home prepped to rent. I met her at the property and we did a full room to room tour. All expectations were laid out, and she gave me a price of $250. We were unfortunately not able to inspect the home before we paid and we were shocked by the state of the home. We reached out to her about it and was met with so much attitude and unprofessionalism. She told me our empty house was left in such terrible condition, and that if I wanted her to do an actual deep clean it would be $300 more for her to come back out. Common items were left untouched like bathroom sinks, kitchen sink, toilet and floors. She then blocked me. Please be careful and do not pay unless you inspect the home.

I was very disappointed in this company and would not recommend them. Meghan doesn’t stand behind her work. I paid $200 extra for to have the outside of 20 windows and the tracks cleaned. When they finished 3 of the windows had not been cleaned on the outside, and several tracks were not touched. Many of the tracks that were cleaned still had debris in them. I did do a walk through after she cleaned the house, but never thought to check the windows …. my fault. However the next day when I discovered it, I texted her immediately and followed up with additional texts for the next two days ….. no response! I definitely would not recommend this company!
