Amanda at DCS Contractors was absolutely amazing—professional, responsive, and a joy to work with! She made the whole renovation process smooth and stress-free. We’re extremely happy with the results and the excellent customer service. Highly recommend!

DCS did an amazing job remodeling my kitchen and bathroom after my home flooded. Not only was the work done in record time, but the project manager was in constant communication with me, providing me with updates along the way. They were also very transparent about pricing. I absolutely recommend using DCS!

Oscar and team did an outstanding job. They very responsive and professional. Unmatched expertise! They corrected previous contractor work.

I appreciate the good job that Oscar and his workers did. My deck looks fantastic and I definitely will be calling this company again for new renovations and additions.

My screen porch turned out perfect! Everything looks very professional; the crew did a great job getting this built. Once the materials arrived, it was up in no time. My future rennovations will definitely be done by Oscar and his crew. Thanks again!

My deck looks incredible! Despite the bumps to get it there, which I am glad I asked. What people don't understand is why the process takes as long as it does. The request for the building permit goes to the county; every county has a different requirement and, compliments of COVID, the county takes what feels like a few years to approve or reject the plans: all subjective to how that county clerk is feeling that day. Then the materials get ordered, but COVID has delayed that by months as well. Once the materials arrive, then the magic happens and a deck appears by the time you get back from the office. Highly recommended.

Poor quality and value. I hired OG to strip a deck down to it's foundation and replace all wood, included deck rails and steps. This was three years ago on a rental property. Oscar Garcia charged me $3,333 for the work. My tenant has now vacated and I had contractors inspect the entire property, including the deck. After three years, the deck looks worse that before they replaced the wood! That is because they used nails instead of screws to secure the wood. The result in 3 years is that all the nails are popping up, the wood is warped and the slats of wood, especially on the stairs are loose! I contacted Oscar Garcia, and he says there is no warranty and I was charged a price for using nails, not screws. I was never given the option of using screws instead of nails, and of course, I don't know the long term results of using nails. Needless to say, Oscar stated he remembers telling me this, 3 years ago! Yeah right! He must have the memory of an elephant if he remembers this. The invoice doesn't not detail whether nails or screws are used, so it is evident he didn't make this clear or inform me of this. Now he wants me to pay him to come fix the deck all over again. That is not going to happen! If he is a professional contractor, he clearly new that the nails would not last and the deck would then warp, which would cause me to call him again and pay him again to fix this. Beware of this company. They are not transparent at all about what they are doing and clearly cut corners on this project. Your deck might look good now, but wait until some time has passed, it will look a hot mess! I would give him 0 stars if I could.

I hired this company to resurface and expand a deck. I purchased the materials and they provided the labor, design, and permitting. I am happy with the results and I recommend Don Óscar García's construction company. One problem I had is that they didn't call Miss Utility and I had to deal with a broken fiber optic cable and the internet provider so, if you are going to hire them, make sure they have a ticket with Miss Utility. Other than that, they are very professional and I liked how Oto, the person in charge at the job site, performs. His colleagues Néstor and Héctor are great workers.

I want to share my genuine experience dealing with this business. It's been incredibly disappointing. Despite my efforts to convey my concerns, they've chosen to dismiss them as fake, which couldn't be further from the truth.

Let me be clear: my review is based on firsthand experience, not conjecture. The lack of professionalism, honesty, and integrity displayed by this company is truly disheartening.

I've seen similar sentiments echoed in the poor reviews on Yelp, reinforcing my own experience. It's a shame that a business would resort to such tactics.

Their exorbitant quote for a small kitchen renovation was beyond reasonable. Their refusal to acknowledge our interactions only adds insult to injury.

This is more than just a review; it's a warning to others. Please, heed my advice and steer clear of this company. No one deserves to be treated with such disrespect and dishonesty.

And to the business in question: denying our interactions won't erase the truth. My review stands as a testament to the reality of my experience, and I won't be silenced.

My impression is that this company tends to focus on complete rehabs and larger projects than mine probably would have been - can't blame any business for doing that. My issue is that if you set up an appointment with potential client - have the courtesy to show up or at least let them know you will not be able to keep the appointment.

It has been a month since our kitchen was remodeled and it has changed the whole mood of the house. Everyone we came into contact with was such a professional and did quality work. Our designer Maria was so helpful along the way and really thought of everything.

We LOVE our bathroom. Although we had a few hiccups along the way, we are so happy with the quality of the outcome and the overall design. Maria held our hands along the way and didn't rush us through our design selections. She and Olivia were great communicators over the course of the project. We are so happy!

I love Nicely Done Kitchens and Baths. We just completed our renovation of our kitchen and dining room by taking a wall down and taking everything that was there OUT. A lot of work was required and some pretty complicated due to new plumbing lines, lots of new electrical requirements, TV install, new appliances, cabinets, lighting, etc. Although the timelines were a bit longer than was committed (some by NDKB and some by a refrigerator issue that had to be replaced 3 times), I can attest that the workmanship, knowledge, professionalism and joy doing the job was top notch. I trusted every individual who worked on the kitchen...and everyone of the contractors was a skilled person with a can-do attitude and so very kind...even when I was nervous watching all the destruction of what was and the holes in the ceilings and cuts through the floors...all was superior. And let me add that the granite people, the tile people, the electrician and plumbers, the floor people---everyone was terrific! My designer Jackie...made the entire project possible. She has an amazing eye for detail, understood immediately the look we were going for and being a perfectionist that I am, patient in waiting until I found the perfect granite, cabinet color/glazing/distressing. I want to thank Evelyn Nicely who actually came to see the kitchen in its formative state. She is lovely. And Olivia and Steve...just the best people to work with. Thank you NDKB!!! Next project...as soon as we recover from this! And yes it will be with NDKB.

What I like best: The impressive quality achieved by a meticulous design phase followed by a tightly-monitored building and assembly process. The results were truly stunning.

How I felt about working with Nicely Done Kitchens: I loved the comfort and security of working with a company that not only involved me in every aspect of the design phase, but delivered on its promise of total, worry-free project management. Once the tearout and construction started, there were no delays in meeting the milestones spelled out in the schedule. (Some of the milestones even described the time of day an event would occur.) The teams always arrived as listed in the schedule. I was also impressed that the company has project managers who monitor the project and visit the site regularly. I never had to make a phone call to ask what would happen next—or when. I also enjoyed working with Doña, a brilliant designer whose judgment I came to respect and value. Nicely Done Kitchens clearly sets high standards for itself.

Nicely Done Kitchen (NDK) and Bath did an outstanding job on our kitchen/first-floor remodel; a complete transformation! Kate is an excellent designer. Steve (Job Supervisor) and his work crew are trustworthy and customer-oriented professionals. The entire remodel process is clear and straightforward. We were demanding customers and NDK exceeded our expectations. We are very happy with the final result.

It’s hard to know where to begin with so many positive things to say about our experiences with this company! From beginning stages of planning to the ending stages of a beautifully completed kitchen, NDKB has been honest, reliable, fair and extremely detail-oriented. Their products are of high quality and the installation of those products went above and beyond our expectations.
Our designer, Jackie Lluy, took a great amount of time and consideration to understand our needs and wants when we decided to remodel our kitchen. She listened carefully and offered her professional and personal opinions when we asked for it. She was never overbearing, but she always had good ideas and suggestions that enhanced our kitchen design. Her advice was sound; it came from a wealth of experience in design and a vast knowledge of the products that NDKB offers. While refining our design, she accepted and incorporated suggestions made by my adult daughter, who had great vision and forethought. Jackie is truly a team player and worked hard to “get it just right”.
Jackie understood the construction process and visited our house often to ensure that all details were attended. Although very busy during the spring months, Jackie was available to answer our questions and update us when our timeline of completion changed for reasons outside of her control. Jackie tried to help us stay within our budget by re-using an existing island and when we noticed that it did not flow well with the new cabinets after they were installed, Jackie immediately helped us remedy the situation by ordering a new island cabinet without question or reproach! We were extremely pleased with her professionalism, honesty and integrity and could not have asked for a better designer/planner/overseer for our kitchen remodel. We consider Jackie a true treasure and a now a friend!
Special mention should go to the team of contractors w/whom Jackie worked closely throughout our project to fit the pieces together well. Jackie meticulously coordinated efforts between the specialty contractors so that the production timeline stayed on track and communicated well with us every step of the way. Steve, the contractor’s team leader, is of impeccable character, integrity, knowledge and skilled workmanship and organized and led the team of contractors to complete the work on our kitchen in a timely and competent manner. Steve does not suffer fools and works with only skilled, dedicated, competent contractors. His “crew” did an excellent job and worked diligently each day. In addition to their incredible workmanship, the crew were pleasant people to be around!
It’s also vitally important to note that during the spring and summer months, the crew took all necessary precautions to ensure a safe environment during the COVID19 viral spread. When a crew member found that he had been exposed to a friend, who had been exposed to the virus, the crew member was not allowed on any job site for 14 days!
Finally, we felt very comfortable leaving our house keys with Jackie, Steve and his crew to tend to any work that needed to be done while we were away from our house. The entire crew and staff at NDKB are honest and trustworthy!
Our remodeled kitchen is truly our “dream” kitchen that came to life! We highly recommend NDKB (especially Jackie, Steve and “crew”) for your remodeling project!

This review is late in coming. We were told by friends who had their kitchens remodeled, “There’s always something you wish you’d done differently but you don’t realize it until after it’s done.” Well, it’s been two years since Nicely Done Kitchens remodeled our kitchen and we can safely say we wouldn’t change a thing. We LOVE our kitchen now. They changed everything (floor, cabinets, back splash, appliances) from top to bottom, except our fridge, which was new at the time. They were very professional and overall minimized the pain of reconstruction. Our designer, Nancy Knickerbocker, worked with us, exploring different approaches and helped us achieve a beautiful, innovative, efficient kitchen which is perfect for our needs and adds a lot to the resale value! We wholeheartedly recommend Nicely Done Kitchens.
