My gas furnace made huge noises and house temperature peaked at 65F. I called Residential express for diagnosis. Their technician arrived and was very knowledgable, and honest. He solved the issue by replacing filters, without talking me into spending hundreds of dollar on unneeded fixes. I recommend residential express.

After four days and four different technicians from another company giving me the run around regarding a dryer vent cleaning, Residential Express arrived next day. Not only were they able to complete the job to standard? But they followed all instructions and didn’t make me repeat myself - meaning they cared enough to read my file and the administrative team passed on all the info from our calls to the technician team. Easy process from beginning to end. Contacted them 4 months ago to quote a full system replacement, and decided against moving forward at the time. Winter comes and our system died overnight--called and they had me scheduled for an install within 48 hours at a price very near the original estimate. Crew arrived on time and was extremely professional moving through our home and completing the work. They explained everything and cleaned out all of the old system debris when they were done. Can't recommend them enough.

I would recommend Residential Heating & Air (RES) without reservations.

I got 4 bids total (2 of the other 3 were from comparatively highly rated locally-owned businesses) to fully replace both the HVAC units in my house, and RES offered a total package that featured superior products at a lower price, with as good or better labor warranty. I estimated that RES’s bid was superior by about $2-3k compared to the next best offer on a project costing ~$20k. I was told the reason for that value is that they only install Carrier systems, which give them superior pricing that they pass along to the customer - makes a ton of sense to me.

Beyond the products and total project cost, the service is also critically important. And in that, RES did a fantastic job, with responsive customer service and professional installation, resulting in a great overall experience. No complaints at all.

PS - do not even bother getting bids from the private equity-owned contractors like FH Furr or McCarthy. And do not ask Home Depot or Lowes (because they’ll recommend either of those two). Those PE-owned companies will bid stupidly high and try to come down in price as soon as you say you’re getting competing quotes. Remember - the better the contractor’s marketing, the worse their price and service. High quality, locally-owned businesses like RES don’t need marketing because customers do it for them via word of mouth.

I recently had Brice and TJ service my house for duct cleaning and dryer vent cleaning. They were very quick to respond for my request for service and I quickly had them come over. The quote was very reasonable, they were prompt and professional upon arrival, very transparent with every action they were taking, and explained how to take care of our property moving forward. I went with another company who did the diagnostic and ended up being a cold shoulder. I called Residential Express, and the receptionist was awesome! I told her what the situation was, I sent over the diagnostic report and they got me a quote back within an hour beating the other place! Then called back to schedule the repair day. They came out 2 days later, no delay on "need to order parts", "need a deposit". David and his crew came out during the scheduled window and got everything fixed in a few hours. He tested and showed me the temperature difference, collected payment and that was it!

If you want a fair price and prompt service, this is the place to go!

I had to get a new hvac system installed rather quickly due to mine breaking during extremely cold weather and RES did a phenomenal job. Not only did they have the best prices, they answered every question quickly and efficiently. They came out day of (which was a Saturday) to give me an estimate and had a next day install after I approved the estimate. The technicians who came were very professional and kind. They even shoveled all the ice/snow on my back patio, whereas another company I had looked at told me to do that in order for them to be able to work. Highly recommend RES.

I am extremely satisfied with the service from Residential Express Heating & Air, especially the technician named Robert.
My electric heating system had been blowing fuses repeatedly for a long time. Sometimes it would run fine for a few months, other times only a few weeks or days, and occasionally the fuse would blow immediately after being replaced. A previous company had come out before, but they only replaced the fuse without finding or fixing the root cause.
I called Residential Express Heating & Air in the morning, and within about three hours they sent Robert to my home. He also courteously texted me 20 minutes ahead of arrival.
Robert worked very thoroughly and carefully. He went up into the attic to inspect the blown fuse in the air handler, then went outside to the unit in the yard to trace the wiring that might be causing the fuse to blow. He went back and forth several times, testing and checking, and eventually identified what he believed to be the root cause of the problem.
After the repair, the heating system has been running properly and the fuse has not blown again. Robert took the time to clearly explain what caused the issue, why it happened, and how he fixed it. He was very professional, polite, and knowledgeable. He also told me that if the problem comes back within 30 days, he will return and fix it at no charge. In the worst-case scenario, rewiring may be needed, but he hopes that won’t be necessary.

RES was not the only company in my area with all positive comments but when you read the comments you start to feel that flow of positive human to human sentiments from them and you can’t help but to trust them. Then when you actually deal with RES, that’s when you feel delighted for trusting your gut feelings.

I had an excellent experience with Residential Express! My furnace stopped working, and FH Furr initially came out for a diagnostic. They quoted me around $1,000 to replace the gas valve and even tried to convince me to replace the entire furnace due to its age.

Before committing, I decided to reach out to Residential Express, and I’m so glad I did. They got back to me quickly and scheduled an appointment right away. Santo, the technician, was incredibly thorough during the diagnostic, clearly explained everything, and even went out of his way to pick up the needed part that was 30 minutes away. The total cost ended up being under $500, which is a huge difference from the first quote.

Santo also told me that my furnace still has plenty of life left as long as I keep up with maintenance, a level of honesty and professionalism that’s hard to come by these days. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the service and will definitely be using Residential Express for all future HVAC needs. They’ve earned a long-term customer!

The new water heater was professionally done and your 2-man crew were able to exchange the old water heater with the new one on the 4th floor. However, we didn't realize until after they left that access to the HVAC filters are now obstructed by the placement of the new water heater. I attached four photos to show this. UPDATE: Your team, William and Mario, returned and made placement corrections to the water heater. They were fantastic in thoughtfully rearranging where the water heater is now, and the pipe connections. The filters to the HVAC can now be withdrawn for maintenance checks. In fact, where the water heater is now is in a better position than when this townhouse was first built! Thank you so much, William and Mario! We apologize for any misunderstanding with the first visit. We were more worried about our water heater breaking than the HVAC system. Again, thank you RES for having highly qualified and thoughtful people on your company. I cannot think of anyone better to service our water, heating, and cooling systems.

Quick turnaround in scheduling, they arrived exactly on time with great communication. The install was smooth and professional. When. The water heater they were installing had a defective, they let me know and took the time to return to their supply point and get a replacement to install at no extra cost.

The entire process with RES to replace our water heater was excellent. Mary coordinated an online quote based on our description of the proposed installation and a photo we provided. She provided a quote within a matter of minutes and quickly answered our questions. We had several other estimates, and RES came in as the most cost effective for the project.
