Back in 2018 Independent Lighting came in and completely changed the interior of my business with new energy efficient lighting. So naturally when I needed to update the outside, they were the ones I contacted. WOW, what a difference they made. Not only do my employees as well as myself feel more protected, it makes the property stand out in a good way. The technicians they sent out were not only qualified but very professional and courteous. Hats off to Independent Lighting for a job WELL DONE !

I run one of the largest home improvement Companies in the Mid-Atlantic area. I'm very familiar with Contracts, Sales, Service, Insurance, Installation, Warranties and things like that, doing over 100,000 jobs in the last 33 years. When our Home Office needed new LED lights, I went straight to our in-house electrician. Tim worked up a price. Later, I ran into Brian, and I told him about it and that there was NO way he could beat my in-house price, but he asked for a chance. Independent Lighting came in $2K less. Plus, they got us a Dominion Power rebate of almost $7,000. They told us when they would be there and how long the job would take. They worked with my Production Manager Skip and had a few upgrades/changes that we all agreed needed to be done. In the end, we (Paramount Builders) would highly recommend Independent Lighting. Plus you get a "real " Company, with trucks, health care, service after the sale, trained employees, copy machines, etc. Not some Chuck in a Truck, that's here today, gone tomorrow...

We have worked with Shipboard Electrical for many years, and on this trip they really came through for us. We were in the middle of an install and desperately needed specific cable tags—and they were able to get them to us the same day, which was incredible.

Thanks to their quick turnaround, we met our deadlines and completed the job on time. The employees were friendly, helpful, and efficient. We were able to send over exactly what we needed, pay in advance, and simply pick it up—smooth and easy.

Matt and his guys are great to work with: they show up on time, tell you the TRUTH about when they can get to your job and when they show up they're nice and ready to go to work. Recently had a job that was an underground repair and Matt told me, "I'm glad to do the repair, but you probably don't want to pay me to dig a hole, it's just not a good use of your money." I appreciated his honesty.

For weeks I tried and tried every way possible to get him to help with my electrical work to no avail. I called, texted and sent a Facebook message.
He called back a couple of times to tell me he was booked up and would call the next week, but he never followed up. I hope you have better luck getting him to help you.

Lee Quality Electric is everything you want in an electrician. Lee rewired my entire hundred year old house and did a spectacular job. I couldn't possibly recommend him enough. He was he thorough, clean, and treated the entire job not only with the highest level of importance but also as if it was his own house. Although it was a huge amount of work, and it took him longer than expected, he never took shortcuts and did not increase the price. Companies like Matt's are what you hope for when you need help. He's honest, hardworking, and brought this old house up to code at a price that was better than all his competitors. Five stars is not enough
