I have used this company several times in my home, and my experience has always been great. The technicians have always been courteous and professional. I have received nothing less than good service and a top notch job.

Corrected some issues we had from a recent home inspection. Came out promptly and were professional. Did the work in about 2 hours and came in below the estimate. I would use them again.

Needed to have an outlet installed for a dehumidifier in my crawlspace. Was told by several companies that I would need 2 units or move the current unit. Since I didn’t know the location for the outlet(s) I had to cancel. Still charged a hefty cancellation fee. Will not use or recommend.

Steven came to work ok my ceiling fan, great customer service, was really respectful of the workspace, and fixed my problem. Answered all my concerns and made sure to stick around in case problem needed fixing.

I just recently used their services to enlarge my main panel and also increase the amperage from 150 to 200 amps. In addition to what I asked for they also gave me a quote for adding surge protection to the panel itself and for adding a generator plug in. Their price quote was not the cheapest, but it wasn't the most expensive either. We chose them because the other companies we got quotes from were either higher, used aggressive sales tactics, or suspiciously low. We chose to get all of the quoted work done. They showed up on time, were very professional, and respectful of our home. I was very impressed that they took special measures to keep the worksite debris from dirtying the rest of the room as well as the extent to which they cleaned the worksite. They were responsive in communications and followed up with an email after the inspector came. Would definitely use them again.

Steven did a great job at sourcing the problem for our electrical issues! He was educational and was very thorough with his work. My toddler was even following him around and he was even explaining to my son what he was doing. So, to work through that and solve our issue in a timely matter was awesome. Thank you!

Travis and his team are truly trustworthy professionals who do what they say and show up on time. Our estimate was fair and
comprehensive. We will and have recommended them to others. We were able to make adjustments to the work order as it progressed
without any difficulty and appreciated their attention to details.

Travis came highly recommended to us by our plumber. We needed power ran to our new water heater booster, and wanted several outlets added to our garage. This involved adding new circuits, as well as running cable across our ceiling.

Travis called when he said he would call, and showed up on time. Both him and his coworker were very personable. Work was done well, and in a timely manner. They cleaned up after themselves. It has been 6+ months and we have had no issues with any of the work that was done.

Hampton Roads Electric came highly recommended to wire up my new retractable awnings and they did not disappoint. Zach and his partner quickly and efficiently wired my two seperate awnings to a single junction box which was tucked up under the eaves of the house and barely visible. A truly professional job that went above and beyond an "average" installation. In fact, I was so impressed with their work I asked them to come back later and install an outside electrical outlet. That job, too, was completed in a highly professional manner with excellent and very attractive results. In summary, I was extremely happy with Hampton Roads Electric's outstanding work and I highly recommend them.

Want to give a quick shout out to Patty at Paul Walker Electric. I called because half my house had no electricity. Patty suggested I called Dominion Power, that it might be a "dropped neutral wire". Turns out the issue IS on Dominon's side and they are repairing the transformer. Patty saved me the cost of an electrician's visit to come out to tell me the same thing!!! Thank you so much for looking out for your customers!! p.s. I've use them in the past and gave them a 5 star review for that service call, too.
