Team 14 did an awesome job my step are beautiful I am very excited and happy with Melissa and Jenny for cleaning my house they did a great job on my whole house ! Thank Melissa and Jenny for the excellent services they do to my house it smells so good and I am thankful and very happy! Melissa is the best I don’t want anyone else cleaning my house but Melissa she knows how I want my house and I will recommend her to anyone that using your service !

This was my first cleaning with the Cleaning Authority. The team was professional, thorough, and efficient. Taylor and Jenna met my expectations for the standard of cleaning I expected. I am very happy with my choice to hire them and would recommend them.

I have had several people clean for me. I’ve only looked for individuals to help support their business, only to be disappointed time after time.
My neighbor’s suggested Cleaning Authority as he has used them for 10+ years & have never been disappointed. I called, got a quote & the price was right, so I decided to try them. I liked that there is no contract needed. They are insured, licensed and bonded. They sent a team of 3 & they got started right away. The team they sent were extremely nice & efficient. My house is spotless! They didn’t miss a thing! I am beyond satisfied!

ive had regularly scheduled cleanings for years, and suddenly this month nobody showed up. ive called twice and been told twice to expect a call back from the manager or owner, i also emailed them yesterday. it's been over a week and i havent heard a thing from anybody. this is not just really terrible customer service, this is unacceptable. after 10+ years with cleaning authority, im looking for a new maid service.

We had Irene, Ari and Chrissy today. The ladies did a great job. They very pleasant, through and made sure we were satisfied before they left. Thank you.

We love having Winter and Amanda over to help us keep up the house. They are very friendly, thorough and always do a great job.

I was very happy with my clean! They were professional, thorough, and efficient. Additionally, I noted a few things were missed during one clean and they made sure to address them entirely today. I appreciate the follow through!

I do not recommend doing business with this company. The last few months we’ve experienced multiple scheduling issues, and two cancellations that we were not made aware of and had to call to confirm and reschedule. We also were initially assured we would have a consistent team cleaning our home, and that has not been the case, so the quality of the work varies each time. Michael, the owner, is disorganized, rude and unapologetic about their errors and more concerned with the personal issues he’s facing with his business and corporate than delivering on good customer service.

I moved to the area from out-of-state and requested a full house cleaning. My friend waited for two hours and the cleaners never showed. According to Michael, there was a glitch in their computer system. I gave them another chance as I was running short on time to get the house cleaned before the movers arrived. I discussed with Michael, again, in great detail what I wanted the cleaners to accomplish. Very disappointed in the services received and the money of $644.00 I was charged for two hours of cleaning service. I did not receive an invoice nor was I notified the cost upon completion. I called Michael to discuss and never received a return call. I do not recommend this cleaning service.

I have no idea how this company has good reviews. I was quoted by Michael that I could have an initial deep clean in no more than two hours for $120/hour. One person cleaned one small bathroom for two hours, and the other only finished the upstairs—did not even touch the downstairs. When I called, Michael was out of the office and could not address it, so I had to send the cleaners home with only half of the work done. I do not recommend this company.

Do not use this company! I have no idea how they currently have a 4.7-star rating.

Most recently, I was double charged for my cleaning in November. Their office confirmed the duplicate charge and stated that it would be refunded. It has now been a month, and despite repeated calls to the office, Michael has never returned any of them and the duplicate charge has still not been refunded. Taking money twice for the same service and refusing to return it is essentially theft. That's a lot of money to be out of at Christmas—and having the issue completely ignored—is incredibly frustrating and unprofessional.

Unfortunately, this is not the only issue I’ve had with them. I have been a customer for about a year, and whenever there were scheduling problems or cleanings that were canceled on their end, I was repeatedly told someone would call me back to reschedule. Those calls never came, even after I followed up multiple times, the cleanings were never rescheduled.

At this point, I am forced to escalate the issue to their corporate office, although, not sure that will help, and if it is still not resolved, I will have no choice but to pursue legal action to recover the money that was taken. Absolutely ridiculous.

I would not recommend this company, I rely heavily on reviews and am honestly surprised by so many great reviews they have.

I spoke with Angel who was very nice, we talked about what I wanted and she assured me everything I mentioned would be cleaned including windows. When I came to the home to inspect the work, the floors were sticky all over, the windows were untouched, grease remained all over the stoves and cabinets, the previous owners hair can still be seen in cabinets and drawers, dust seen around all appliances and shelves, residue inside and outside of the fridge and stove.

I called to speak about my dissatisfaction, I sent 30 pictures describing and showing my dissatisfaction. I spoke with Angel and Kim. It was explained, as far as the windows, it was a mistake to be assured the windows would be cleaned because they apparently do not clean windows as I was initially told and there was an apology for this. Everything else they agreed should have been cleaned. They offered to come back out but I said no thank you. I requested 50% off my purchase which is more than reasonable due to the work done. This was brought to the owner who refused. I asked multiple times to be called by the owner over the last 14 days and this was refused. I was offered $40 off which I feel is disrespectful due to the filth left in my completely empty home. I have given respect and patience to the owner and his business but not treated this way in return as I’m having to call back multiple times to try to resolve my dissatisfaction when this company promises 100% satisfaction. My house looks and smells amazing! My kitchen, my bathroom, my bedrooms EVERYTHING is pristine!! I’m just in awe at the quality of work I received today and now I can relax until my little one arrives. THANK YOU SO MUCH! The pride in their work is evident and their level of professionalism is outstanding. I would give it TEN STARS🌟 if I could!

I contacted So Clean Virginia Beach about a move-out cleaning of an unusual property in Williamsburg. I was delighted with their professionalism from first contact through the finished product. The team worked tirelessly through a long day and they were not daunted by the varied surfaces and tasks. They cleaned the house literally from the tops of high ceilings to the concrete. They even cleaned the patio. I recommend them to anyone searching for excellent service and a professional cleaning experience.

Mike was so accommodating with my need for a last minute deep clean of the house. His responsiveness and kindness will definitely have me using his business in the future. They did a wonderful job with the house we can’t stop talking about how good it looks around here!

We wanted to make sure our house was pristine when we put it on the market, so we booked move out cleaning services with So Clean. Our crew, Anell and Kelly, were on time, friendly, and detail oriented. We were impressed by their thoroughness- there were no cut corners. A great value for the money- and bonus round because we love supporting local/veteran owned businesses!

All I can say is WOW!! Thank you guys for the amazing cleaning of carpet and walls throughout my rental townhome! (that my toddlers destroyed lol) Not only does the house look and smell amazing, but it is now move in ready for the next tenant. I’m very grateful that you went above and beyond to help pack some of my items that were left in cabinets/drawers. I could go on and on, but I highly recommend anyone desiring cleaning that is affordable, on time, professional, and friendly service! I look forward to working with you all again in the near future! Anel was so easy to work with and accomodated my tight time frame. He even came back when I found a couple of small spots on the hardwood floors of leftover paint. I wasn't upset because he had been working very late at night and the lighting was poor in the room. It would have been very difficult for him to see but when I mentioned it he came back no problem. He was very friendly and the cleaning was exceptional. I would highly recommend him. I had a good feeling from the time we got off the phone because he had a very organized process and was asking questions of what I would need cleaned.

This place was absolutely amazing and very professional. I needed a move-out clean very last minute and they were able to accommodate. Ansel and Robert spent an afternoon in my house and when it was done it looked and smelled better than the day I moved in. They guys were friendly and proficient and I just love how they did the job. If you need a cleaning service look no farther. They are very accurate on price quotes and on time.

I read a lot of these reviews and honestly thought I was getting a company I could trust. I couldn't tell you who was in the apartment because there was near no communication from the company. For a 40 point check list so many things on the list were done very poorly or not at all. There was dirt on every surface still, the floors were unmopped, literal poop still left in the toilet. The front door was left open for a full day even with the cleaners having access to the key. I'm very disappointed with our experience here.

I was hopefull that it would great but after 7 hours, 3 workers and nearly $1,000 for our 4 Bed/2 Bath 2400 sft home... only slightly above average result. Had to ask them to come back in after they went out the front door (without even asking if everything was ok) to clean the entire backsplash in the kitchen and an area of the bathroom floors. After having an opportunity to review the work, the following was not performed as stated in their 40 Point Checklist:

Did not slide out washer, dryer, stove or refrigerator to clean behind and under, though all are easily accessable.

Did not use side tabs on new windows to flip inward and clean.

Did not clean rangehood.

Did not clean or polish control panel or knobs of range.

Did not clean baseboards in all rooms.

The employees were pleasant and respectful but did seem to get sidelined a number of times discussing who was going to do a specific task or had accomplished a task.

UPDATE: Not an hour after posting this review, I got a call asking to come back to the house in the next day or two to ensure everything was taken care of. That is all you can ask for... well done!
