The lady who works here has poor customer service and gets annoyed quickly. I questioned did her guy perform a service because my 2 cameras show otherwise, on top of that I even told her I would be calling Monday the 5th to find out what he did but I actually gave her until today the 7th. Two additional days but im calling too much? Yeaaa. She then escalated the call when I questioned the companies integrity and says why are you calling, you should be lucky we are talking to you. Umm im sorry our calls for the past month were to set up a time for me to be here to let you in the house but the entire time for almost a month, I didnt even need to be there because guess what, it wasn't required for me to be. So a month of phone tag for no reason that could have been avoided if you had just said that. You dont know if somebody needs to be there or not for the service you are gonna do? Then as a bonus I even talked to the guy on the camera for like 30 seconds while I was watching him. I didnt even tell her that part because I was already over it.

The service was absolutely perfect. They were prompt, performed the service quickly and thoroughly, and the price was more than fair. I will be TCS for all of my chimney sweep needs in the future.,

One of their technicians, Jamie, came out for an inspection and was extremely respectful and thorough in informing me on what to do to have a safe first burn in my fireplace. We didn’t end up needing a cleaning and just a few repairs that are outlined in a report. I got a text when he was 10-15 minutes out and then he sent me text updates during the inspection since I was putting my child to sleep. I wanted to add that because it meant a lot that he was so respectful of my space and needs at the time. Thank you Jamie!

Thorough service, friendly technician, reasonable price. Tech was available earlier than scheduled and texted to see whether early was good or I wanted to stick to my original time. This my first business with the company, and I’ll be a regular now.

I had an appointment today for an inspection and cleaning of my fireplace. Damon came out and was very professional, yet down to earth! He answered all of my questions and told me that I didn't need a cleaning which was great! Some companies may have done it anyway to get the extra money, but Damon was very honest about it and advised of repairs needed if I chose to use my fireplace. He didn't try to upsell me on buying or scheduling additional services. He was a very stand up guy who kept it real with me, which I appreciated. He gave me options of what I could do with the space along with advice on if I wasn't going to use my fireplace at all. Truly appreciate you Damon and look forward to working with this company for my annual inspection and repairs if needed moving forward! Would 1000% recommend Tidewater Chimney Sweeps!

I needed 3 if my das fireplaces inspected as they had been turned off for several years. The company was very professional setting up my appointment. Chad came to my house and was extremely nice and competent. He was able to get them up and running and most importantly I feel safe running the fireplaces. Chad came out on a Saturday, in the middle of peak "chimney cleaning" season, and was very efficient and professional. I have 13 hvac vent terminations, and he was able to properly clean them all out (and the return duct) all within an hour and a half.

He left no mess, was very cordial, and now my home feels and smells fresh every time I step in!

Would recommend these folks any day, great locally owned and operated company, friendly staff, and awesome work ethic.

I have a recommendation: When it’s time for your customers to have their yearly Chimney inspection/cleaned, you guys should have a data base set up that would send out reminders.
