We retained JAJ because we had an outage and needed someone in a hurry on a Saturday and our regular electrician (Spartan Electric) was not available.. Spent all afternoon on the phone with the persons manager, trying to diagnose the issue. I was then told that the only path forward was for the person to video chat another electrician who was going to walk him through diagnosing the issue. After ~4 hours and $400 later, he left, with our appliances still not working. They demanded payment before their technician would leave the site. A week later, our regular company came by and fixed the issue in under two hours. They also found that JAJ had left things in pretty bad shape, such as uncovered junction boxes. Would not use again.

We used JAJ on a recommendation from a neighbor and they were terrific! They showed up when they said they would, were very communicative and organized, did great work and were reasonably priced and honest. Jason even came over during a snow storm to ensure that the electricity for our new hot tub was set up. I have not been this pleased with a contractor experience in a long time and maybe ever. I highly recommend Jason and his team!

I’m in love with my new ceiling fan! Everything about this process was flawless. I reached out to Jason on a Thursday afternoon and by Saturday afternoon his crew was at my home ready to install. The crew was on time and prepared. They wore a mask and cleaned up after they were done. Overall, they treated my small project as if it were a big job and I am so appreciative.

I called several electric companies and even had to pay for a few estimates . I called Mr. Anderson and he gave me an estimate over the phone free of charge so that was great . His estimate was better than everybody’s offer. I booked him for install running power to my food truck . He was very knowledgable and made the process very smooth explaining everything he was doing . The price was the great and the final product was outstanding !!! Dante is very professional and his knowledge of current electrical code is like he wrote the book. Highly recommend Dante for electrical work or consulting. He walked me through my basement electrical plan, gave a pre-inspection, and completed adding 4 cb’s to fully finish a basement. His help was instrumental to safely doing this project.

The services provided by Mr. Anderson have been outstanding. I have an older home that needed a panel replacement and installation of many recessed lights in several of the rooms. He is professional and provided quality lights and switches. The costs were reasonable. One thing to note is that Mr. Anderson thoroughly cleans up after installation and is extremely careful around personal property. This is a company that I highly recommend.

Dante gave me a solid quote to replace my electrical panel and install a NEMA 14-50 outlet for my electric car. He was happy to answer all my questions about the process including how permitting with the county goes. Once I approved the quote he was able to get the job done within two days. Couldn’t be happier with the outcome. I will definitely use him in the future for any other requirements.

Dante was supposed to show up at my house between 9:30 and 10:30. I had to reach out to him to see if he was showing up. When I finally got a hold of him, I he informed me that he was delayed due to an inspector. He eventually showed up at the new agreed time of 1… 3-4 hours later than originally agreed to, but when he explained the reason for being lat, I understood- stuff happens. He showed up, fixed 1 of 3 issues. Of the 3 issues, he fixed one breaker that kept tripping due to a faulty wire in a basement remodel- he said it was tripping because of the bad wire, not because of any of the work I did in there.

Before he left, after looking at other things he considered a problem, he said he would send me an estimate that night- I had to message him about it and he sent it the following evening. He and I talked about, while he was here, how all the outdated breakers needed to be up to code (they didn’t- I checked with the code office) and that he could add 3 bubble covers on the exterior of the house. When he sent the estimate it had all of that on there. After looking at how to install exterior outlet covers, I told Dante that I didn’t need the breakers upgraded nor needed the bubble covers- just the two breakers that kept tripping to be fixed. He ghosted me after that- I sent numerous polite texts asking when he could come and do the breakers, when was he free, etc… nothing. He saw the messages because it showed that they were read. I ended up going with someone else.

Dante is smart and good at what he does, but in my situation, I didn’t feel he communicated effectively enough, or at all, from beginning to end. If the communication was better, then I would have continued on with his services. But it wasn’t until I posted negative reviews did he decide to respond back to me.

I would not dissuade anyone from using him- I just had a bad experience with the communication.

I looked for a contractor to help create lots of light in our very dark master. I went to work and came home to lots of bright light. I couldn’t believe how bright the light in our room could be. While I was disappointed with the damages that were done to my ceiling, the work done did make a noticeable difference in our room.

Root has been our electrical service of choice for several years. We called for a fan control unit replacement, and were pleased when Bill scheduled himself for the work. The repair was done quickly and reasonably. Will not hesitate to use them again.

I needed an technician to replace my outside laundry room light) so I called Root Electric, texted them a picture of the current light, They gave me an estimate and scheduled a day and time for someone to come out and replace it. Root electric got the replacement light. The guys showed up on time, replaced the light, made sure it worked, wrote up a ticket for me. The amount was right on the estimate. Root Electric has done a lot of work at my house. When I renovated my kitchen, Bill did all the electrical work and upgraded my service panel. The inspector commented about what a great job he had done. He most recently installed a couple of outdoor circuits for my outdoor lighting and added additional recessed lighting in my kitchen area.

Bill is of extremely good character and highly competent. I can't recommend anyone more highly than Root Electric. I fact, they will be doing work on my daughter's house and additional work on my house.
