Just had a great experience with Root Electric. The two technicians, John and Casey, were very professional and experienced. Work went smoothly and was completed in a timely manner. They even replaced a light switch in the kitchen that had failed recently at no additional cost! Work completed was installation of a circuit breaker sub panel so I can power key circuits with a portable generator during outages, a common occurrence in my neighborhood. The entire process, from project description to payment, was painless. Fair prices as well, and the technicians arrived early for the appointment. I will definitely be calling Root Electric again for my future electrical projects or emergencies.

We called Root Electric initially to get some additional kitchen lighting installed. They came out and quickly and completely set it up, beyond what I had even hoped for. They became our go-to call for all electrical work. The techs were friendly, professional, gave us complete information, and did a superb job. In addition, we got scheduled right away and the work was done quickly. I'm sure we'll use Root as long as we have electricity.

I contacted Root Electric Services to get an estimate for a partial power outage. When Mr. Root called me he said based on what he understood about my situation that it was most like the fault of the power company and I should contact them first as there would be no charge for that. So, I did and he was correct and I appreciated his honesty up front. He could have just dispatched a team, charged me for their service, only to have them tell me it was an external problem. So his honesty and integrity is very much appreciated. The other company I called was ready to dispatch their team right away and did not bother to alert me. I am glad I waited for Mr. Root to respond before I called anyone in. I would certainly recommend Root Electric Services. Thank you.

Yesterday had Root Electric install an EV charger in my garage. They showed up at the appointment time and completed the installation in less than the estimated time. All the work was done as per the prior walk-through and at the original estimate. Loved the fact there were 'no surprises' and the work was done professionally and the work area was very clean upon completion. Their pricing was also in line with other bids I had received for the same work.

Several years ago I used them to install new pendant lighting in kitchen. I happily give them highest rating and will continue to call them with any future electrical needs.

I highly recommend Root Electric. They initially did some crawl space circuit installs through JES and I was impressed with their professionalism. I contacted them about some additional work which included upgrading the main electrical panel and installing an EV charger. Bill was thorough in explaining the work involved and was very personable. The team that performed the work was top notch. Not only was it completed true to the estimate but it is clear they take pride in their work.

I contacted several electricians seeking a quote to upgrade an outlet for a new dryer. The owner Bill Root contacted me the next day and walked me through the repair scenarios and gave me a cost estimate-- very knowledgeable and helpful guy. His repair team showed up on time a few days later and did the job in an efficient and professional manner. I will definitely use Root again and will recommend them to friends.

Root provided a virtual estimate to replace one external receptacle and add a new one on the back deck. They got the work done in a timely manner. Employees were very friendly and took the time to explain what they were doing. This is a very easy company to work with.

Bill came in and gave a very knowledgeable quote and was able to point out concerns that would have put me in a very difficult position had I have gone with a different company. He was able to offer alternatives and set me up with exactly what I needed for my house for now. The crew that came in were incredible did the job quickly professionally and left me with exactly what I asked for. Even in a difficult situation where they had to fit something into a shallow wall kept any drywall cuts or anything to a bare minimum.

When I finally have the ability to remodel in the future, I'll definitely be reaching out for the final things I wanted done that couldn't be done now!

The Root Electric team was great for the project. I was able to get them out and Bill Jr. walked through and highlighted the things he suggested based on my needs. While it took the electric company 3 months to finalize the upgrade to the main panel, Bill maintained regular communications with me and followed up with them to get the meter fully installed. Great work that has paid off! Had them install a subpanel about two years ago so we could power our most essential circuits off the generator. With all the rain lately, a tree just took down the only power line into our neighborhood. But we are doing just peachy, even if it takes Dominion all night!
