I am very pleased with the service provided by JAJ Lighting. I had them install a light fixture in my master bedroom siting area and a billiard pool table light fixture. They did a great job on both. I would definitely recommend this company.

Very responsive and reasonable!!!! Jason is now my go to guy for all my electrical needs. Already talked to him about mounting my TVs and recessed lighting. Definitely hiring JAJ again and again and again!!! Wonderful guys!!

JAJ Lighting & Power recently installed 7 recess lights in my kitchen area.

The work was quick and clean. The LED recess lights make a huge difference from the outdated lighting fixtures that were in place.

What I appreciated the most was the minimal holes created in installing the recess lights. I initially shopped around and had estimates from other contractors who informed me that several holes would have to be created as part of the process in installing the LED recess lights.

However with JAJ Lighting & Power, the holes were so minimal that only minor patch up work was needed.

I recommend JAJ Lighting 100% and look forward to working with them on the rest of my townhome.

Recommended via Yelp. Contacted JAJ and got work scheduled and completed all in 1 day (a Saturday). Price was fair and quality of work is first rate. I will definately call on them for future home electrical projects.

I called for several reasons and was contacted immediately. A date was set for a Saturday and when they had an opening they called me and was able to come sooner. VJ was our electrician and could not have been more professional. We ran into an unforeseen issue but he did not stop until he had a solution. I definitely will call this company again and will recommend them to others.

Edit: I would like to add on that three weeks ago after my initial review I googled the business to get their phone number again to reach out to them regarding my refund and it said "PERMANENTLY CLOSED" on their yelp and google page. Well, it looks like they are back up and running again. Not sure if it was a technical glitch, or if they just hide out for a couple of weeks after no-showing on too many customers? Also, they didn't reply to the Better Business Bureau complaint filed three weeks ago either.

Jason was a no show for our work on Saturday that was under contract. We've called both his number and the business number on the website, as well as writing emails and texts. We also paid a $1550 deposit. This is NOT acceptable and it is also not the first time there was a review written in this manner regarding their lack of timeliness and communication. If I could get anyone to actually answer the phone I would request a refund. At this point I might have to just call my bank.

This is an update from my previous 1-star review.

After the company saw my previous review, they contacted me and offered me a very significant discount if I gave them a shot. So I did. No other company would have been able to compete with their offer. Turns out there were some unusual circumstances the day they were supposed to come by and never showed up. So I will give them the benefit of the doubt on this one.

After that issue, they were easy to get in touch with and timely with their quote. They were very flexible with my schedule and I was able to set up a day/time for the sub panel installation that worked for me.

They two gentlemen that did the installation were friendly and polite. Unprompted, they took their shoes off anytime they came in the house. They helped me decide where to install the sub panel and made sure it was installed up to code. They did the work and cleaned up any mess left.

Assuming the sub panel works and was installed properly (we'll find out when the basement gets finished and inspected in a few weeks), they did a fantastic job and definitely made up for the bad first impression! I had written them off completely until they called, apologized, explained the situation, and made me an exceptional offer.

EXCELLENT customer service! They truly care about their reputation.

The JAJ Lighting & Power Company is a Number 0ne Quality Company. They have an excellent rating. When we moved here about a year ago, the Electrical System has not worked properly for this whole year. The Electrical Company did not know how to fix it. I decided to get an expert Independent company to fix it. On the Internet I really liked the first company that I saw. (JAJ Lighting & Power Company) I really liked their ad, especially where they said they can fix anything. And after reading the Reviews, I didn't look any further. Their ad was completely true. Jason and Jese showed up promptly. They were polite and friendly. They went right to work, and they checked everything step by step until after only a couple of hours, Jason found the problem. As opposed to a year long effort of the other Electrical Company trying one thing after another to fix it, to no avail. Jason did everything he said he would do. He even suggested that he give me a written estimate of what he would do, before he did the job. And the cost was surprisingly very affordable. I was Completely Satisfied, and Will Recommend J.A.J. Lighting and Power to Anyone. This is the Company that you are looking for.

"JAJ lighting & Power" recently replaced the main circuit breaker on my home. Apparently the home builder installed it incorrectly and the inspector missed it. My home was days away from an electrical fire. Thank goodness they resolved the issue. That being said, the price that they charged me for the breaker was well over a 100% mark up for what could be found at home depot(same model number, same manufacturer). I understand that you have agreements with suppliers but for a part that is still manufactured it seems a little overkill.

My original review was deleted so here it is again. After arriving 5 hours late to replace my power panel Jason informed me that he would come back to finish the job and would be present when the county inspector inspected the power panel. Long story short I checked with the county not only did he not pull the permits he no showed 3 times for the inspection. After a few days of emailing, calling and texting him i went to his place of business after noticing that the JAJ website was mysteriously down. I was informed that he has not occupied that office in over 8 months and they were not surprised that he did not finish the job. I then had to hire an actual electrician and took him 5 hours to finish the job including installing new grounding rods etc. If you hire him ask to see his business permit and electric license Because he doesnt have one! AVOID JAJ LIGHTING AND POWER!

JAJ Lighting & Power did an awesome job installing and fixing my electrical lines and light fixtures in my new office. They was very professional and continued to wear their mask the entire time. I would recommend their services to any one who asks me. Thank you again JAJ.

Extremely helpful in a time of need! I wrote to the company on Yelp because my HOA cited me for my outdoor light. I received a response in a timely manner. We were able to schedule something the next day. He was also very helpful in pointing out several options that were cost effective, they didn't look cheap either--very reasonable pricing. He was detail oriented and you can see he has a passion for this craft. I will be calling JAJ Lighting and Power again for some other projects.

Within an hour of our raising an issue, the problem was identified. I am so pleased with Service JAJ Lighting, they are willing to come out in Saturday to troubleshoot the problem with my appliance outlet and fix the problem. This is my second service with JAJ Lighting and I am definitely recommend their excellent & cost effective services. I’d like to pass along my highest compliments to the electrician Jason.

JAJ Lighting & Power is a very professional and friendly company! They arrived right on time and installed my ceiling fan with no issues. They even did measurements for my second ceiling fan to make sure I purchased the correct size! I will definitely recommend them to my family and friends!

Update on 9/24/2019: After almost two months, JAJ has responded to me on this review site. I was able to get my money back after I did a fraud report with my credit card and a report to the BBB, took about a month.

I contacted JAJ Electricians to install three ceiling fans. I paid $600 for a deposit for this service and did not sign any type of contract. They no call/no showed at 7 am on 7/27/2019. After calling multiple times and emailing, I was able to reach someone (they did not call or email me) and we rescheduled for between 12 - 1 pm that day, and was supposed to call to let me know an update. I was no call/no showed again. At 1:09 pm someone called me back (fourth person I talked to that day) and was finishing a job two hours from me and was not familiar with my work order. I canceled the job and asked for a refund of my $600 deposit and they did not reply or refund me.

We found JAJ online and did not read any reviews. Voice mail was left for several companies and they called us with in a short time. Jason came out to install an outlet, microwave and to remove a range hood on a HOLIDAY!!! He was professional and did a great job. I will use their services again.

After calling several electricians, JAJ was the only one who would come to our house within a couple days. Then he was able to get to our house 2 hours earlier than scheduled--fantastic! Jason was very competent and courteous. He not only fixed the problem (outlets not working) in short time, but also explained to me the problem. He gave me some good advice, too: GFCI outlets need to be replaced every 2 to 5 years. Ours was 10 years old. Would definitely recommend this company.

We're in the process of selling our home and had a home inspection report done. Found that my Outlawed Federal Pacific panel shouldn't never been in the home in the beginning do to the danger they pose. Found JAJ Lighting & Power.. looked at the reviews and seen the shakey reviews but overlooked them because there were countless positive reviews.
They came out replaced the panel the tech was efficient, respectful knowledgeable and affordable. Pricing was awesome! Thanks John and Steph you guys ROCK!!! We closed on our home today!!

Initially there was a miscommunication with the new receptionist, but after leaving a voice message, the owner promptly returned my call and made my service call a priority. Jason immediately knew the problem with my busted circuit and was able to fix it within a very timely manner. He also fixed an issue with a light unit on the exterior of my house that I wasn't aware had a problem. Jason also installed a programmable light switch for me. I need to purchase another programmable light switch for a 4-way circuit and he said he would come back and install it for free! JAJ Lighting and Power are a stand up company and honestly takes care of their customers without taking any shortcuts or advantage of you. I'm very pleased with my experience and will be using them for all of my home electric needs.
